Clean, comfortable rooms. Parking expensive $25 per night.

A very nice place to stay. Nice restaurant downstairs which was convenient. The bed was very comfortable. Room was ok in size. Friendly staff.

Beware that on some sites it appears that parking is available free of charge but there is a significant nightly charge for parking and it’s not completely secure (although there are cameras). The staff were ok but not particularly friendly and we got a room for 3 people but we had to ask for a third towel and there were only 2 drinking glasses and cups. In the photos it looks a lot more spacious too - the beds were very close to each other. A plus was that it was nice and quiet and generally comfortable. Some liquid hand soap by the basin instead of a bar of soap would be good because the bar kept sliding into the basin. Also some body lotion would be appreciated. In general it was decent but pricey for what it is.

We enjoyed the on site restaurant "Frankies". The room was comfortable but on the small side. One night stay it was okay.

Atura Wellington is within short walking distance to Wellington Train Station and Wellington bus stop, as well as many tourist attractions. It is clean, has views of the city or hills from some rooms, includes a restaurant and bar, and has laundry. I especially liked that the bathrooms had separate soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, as many hotels I have stayed at are providing 2-in-1 these days. I thought the breakfast was pricey for a continental buffet at $25 without coffee. There is no breakfast menu, only the buffet option.

We didn’t like we had to pay for parking $25 dollars a night at the property which we payed a good amount of money for staying there.Another one we ordered dessert to our room and was told we had to pay for the tray which they bought the dessert on.And it was very noisy from the outside and we had the windows closed.And noisy from inside from doors banging coming from other rooms.Rooms we’re pokey for amount of money we payed for,not very happy.

Parking was an issue and the first person I spoke with told me id need to check out at 6.30am which was incorrect

The hotel was very clean, extremely quiet, no traffic, horns or noise from people outside. The room was comfortable, shower was hot and the bed was like a cloud. The restaurant was delicious - I had the rigatoni pasta dish

No parking available at the facility on my stay and no off street parking available due to road works. Otherwise staff were very helpful and room was very clean. Dinner menu was amazing!

It was very quiet, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed in a great location, walkable to the city.

I was quoted $124 as per Expedia and the charges was more than $230 - which I had to pay as the booking was confirmed already and would have penalized myself into paying the full amount anyway. The bathroom mirror was dirty, the shower was wet inside with cleaning liquid still on the floor and slippery, the bed was not made properly and the linen smelled dusty. As per the advert, there was suppose to be air-conditioning in the room, but there was not and having to open the windows for cool air it allowed noise from the outside. The food was very good and of very good quality. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee. Not very happy about the charges and the cleanliness of the rooms.

The room is spotless and all the fabric stuffs are super clean. The staffs are very nice and supportive.

The room was very clean, lovely comfortable bed, nice hot shower. 😊 Shower cubicle was a bit small The main reason for the lower score was the musty smell both inside the room and in the corridor 😕

We were put into an “upgraded room” however it seemed downgraded. We were able to swap into the one we actually ordered, however to our suprise it did not seem like it had been thoroughly cleaned as the bathroom smelt, and we had found a pair of undies underneath the bed. Pretty average overall

The Atura was easily accessed via the motorway and close to my conference facility. It was also convenient to the supermarket. The communal hallways smelled air-freshened. However, the room (913) would benefit from a deep clean rather than a superficial service. There was evidence of grease marking on the kitchenette bench. The extra blankets were clearly dumped in the drawers by the last guest, there were blood splatters and mould on the walls of the bathroom and a thick build-up of dust particularly around the carpet line and skirtings, along with slopped coffee or water or similar. I did wonder if the toilet was cleaned before or after my fresh towels were hung (on a rail directly adjacent to the toilet) as the toilet seat was up on arrival. I understood on arrival that I could use the no daily service vouchers against my room cost only to discover on departure that I could only use it on food or beverages (which I did not require). I also encountered another guest on arrival who was requesting a full room service due to the filthy state of it. Check in staff asked him to clarify the elements that required attention - his response was "all of it". On arrival to my room, it appeared that this is a consistent issue and that most guests probably wouldn't mention it to staff but reflect it in ratings. Would I stay at Atura again? No. I'd stay in accommodation that I have previously that was cleaner. I'd Uber to and from a conference facility instead of staying at the Atura.

Nice modern hotel. Close to sky stadium, a little walk into the main part of the city 10-20mins. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The main issue with this place is there is no AC in the rooms, if you open the window, you get traffic noise and/or its very windy. There is a noisy fan in the room. I would be happy to stay again but not in the middle of summer.

The staff were very welcoming and courteous and the hotel's environment was tasteful and quiet.

A great stay, loved the soft & hard pillow. The staff were fab, and even stored our bag for us. Breakfast was excellent too.

We stayed at Atura Wellington during the All Blacks vs Springboks game in September, as other options were unavailable. The hotel’s location near Sky Stadium was convenient, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an unwelcoming receptionist, who insisted each guest come to the counter to collect their key cards, despite our booking three rooms via Expedia. My room (508) was cramped, with no toiletries and an uncomfortable, tiny shower. The evening receptionist was more helpful, offering us a late checkout until 12:00 PM. However, the next morning, the same rude receptionist called, demanding we vacate or face a NZD 20/hour charge. After I mentioned the prior agreement, she abruptly hung up. Breakfast was disappointing, with missing items like bread, juice, and hashbrowns. The staff showed little interest in refilling. Only the barista was friendly and polite. At checkout, the same impolite receptionist made us feel unwelcome, sighing when we requested to store our bags for the day. In summary, the service was poor, and the hotel failed to meet expectations for the price. I would not recommend staying here.

First impressions were poor. Was told at checkin that there would be a 3% surcharge when paying for my room with the Credit Card I had just provided. I pointed out that the room was pre-paid. After much scrolling up and down it was agreed. Blamed on the new system. Then was told that breakfast was x amount. Again pointed out that it was included in the room rate. Again much scrolling and again agreed and blamed it on the new system. The desk co-worker seemed to find the situation amusing. I cannot say I felt the same. Breakfast very disappointing, Scambled eggs you could eat with a straw, poached eggs, continously poaching in a pan of water until hard and rubbery. All other hot food lukewarm warm at best. I pointed this out to the staff, with a “we will pass it on shrug type of response. Next morning I went down at 6.30 sharp thinking the food must be hot then it has only just been put out. Wrong. Luke warm at best. Had toast on day 3. Overall I sensed an overall lack of enthusiasm from the lobby staff during my stay. Other staff friendly and helpful. Positives. Hotel is a modern, multi-storey building, (great view from the 8th floor.) Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is excellent, easy walk from stations, and to Bontanical Gardens. Plus a large supermarket minutes away. I would stay there again but pass on the breakfast.

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay at Atura. I would like to mention Louisa in particular who went out of her way to provide a space for my daughter to have a zoom call for her work. Thank you so much for going above and beyond, we appreciate this greatly. Also the friendly reception staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you.

We had a great experience at the Atura and would like to give a special thanks to the staff for letting us keep our luggage with them after checkout since our car had been compromised in Taupo on the trip down. Much appreciated from both of us.

Great place for a quick work visit. Comfortable bed. Quiet area. The only disappointment I had was the cost of the breakfast was astronomical for the very little options. I also had to (on top of what I paid) pay for a flat white which was very weak. The eggs were super runny and almost not cooked enough. Apart from that, the staff were amazing and a nice small room.

Small but adequate room. The restaurant really let this place down. Food was awful - tasteless and expensive for what it was. The main course took ages to come and the veges while nicely presented were undercooked and the lamb unseasoned. Weirdly, we couldn't pay for it that night as no staff could take the money, however at 0530 am the staff could. It was convenient to where we were going.

Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂 Dinner was lovely but unfortunately breakfast wasn't so good. Bacon was quiet tough as though it had been sitting a while, mushrooms and egg were cold

Front desk and restaurant staff were amazing and friendly. The food in the restaurant was lovely and it remains open until 9pm which we really appreciated after a long day of travel, we checked in after 7:30 and could immediately sit down for drinks and dinner. The bed was very plush and comfortable, had a great 2 nights sleep. Hotel is very close to train and ferry stations.

Property is ugly. No response to fact that we could not arrive until after 2 am due to ferry problems. They had been informed. No adjustment to checkout time. Included breakfast extremely limited. Huge upcharge for complete breakfast. Staff very unhelpful. Price high for what you get. WOULD NOT STAY HETE AGAIN!

I loved the service, and good food at the buffet. Overall excellent experience!
