It is just what you need. The suite is excellent and cozy. Very well appointed kitchen. The hotel doesn't have many ammenities (no restaurant, gym, etc), but it would be senseless to pay extra for that, when you are only steps away of everything you need in the village. The location is unbeatable.

Nice place right in the middle of the action. Good soundproofing on the windows. Parking is ridiculously expensive so we used the public lots instead. The rooms are somewhat dated but serviceable.

The parking is incredibly tight and not enough spots that we had to leave our car in there all the time otherwise we wouldn’t have a space to park in at all.

We really like to service. The suite had everything we needed and all were clean and convenient. Staff were great and they helped us in no time. Just one thing that we expected to be included in the fee, was the hotel parking and we had to pay extra. We really recommend this hotel

This is a well run hotel. Excellent location however note we were there at a quieter time . Noise from The Longhorn and other pubs could be a factor in busier months. Roof top hot tub is great with an amazing view. Front desk staff and bell man were well trained and professional. One bedroom suite was a perfect size with a king size bed (ohh yeah ) . EV charging.AC only in living area not in bedroom.

Great location right at the start of the “Whistler Stroll” that takes you through the village. I saw a few comments around older rooms but that didn’t detract at all in my opinion. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and well laid out, we stayed in the two room valley view suite in mid November 2025. Reception staff were absolutely unreal, with a huge shout out to Rachel. Could not have been more helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to do right down to calling a few restaurants to see if she could get us on the waiting list, hearing it was our anniversary and sending up a bottle of red and personal message about 5 mins after we got to our room, way above and beyond! Roof top hot tub is brilliant and can be booked in half hour sessions so you have complete privacy. Will absolutely stay again.

This place is NOT what is shown online!! It is OLD and in need of a total FACE LIFT!! It is, in our opinion, overpriced for what it is. Filthy carpets, poor floor plan, old damaged furniture, un-useable storage, dirty and weathered. Location is great, the lobby is nice but once we saw the room we wondered HOW they can charge so much for it!!! AVOID THIS PLACE there are MUCH BETTER ONES!!!

Overall the experience was great. My only complaint was the room wasn't super clean. There was something that had been dropped and splashed on the wall by the door (inside the room) that was never cleaned and things were dusty, but the beds were clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel is so convenient to everything in the village.

Service was great, fast and easy check in, their staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and seemed clean however the floors weren’t (very large clump of hair on one bedroom floor from a previous guest and was still there for duration of our stay despite daily housekeeping) and the walls were very dusty - so much so that we drew a heart in it and wrote clean me.

I stayed there for 1 night with my wife and 11 month old baby. When the guest services brought up the crib to setup in the bedroom, there was a spider on our bed. I pointed it out to him that there is a spider on my bed but there was no reaction from him. I grabed a napkin and got rid of it my self. I asked him if that was normal and he said that is the first time he sees one in the room, but his reaction told me something else. After he left, I looked around the room and found 4 more spiders. In one of the closests which they had a heater duct running through it where there was a spider webs and dusty. In the morning I found silverfish running around on the ground. I found this hotel not worthy of $320 per night, based on cleansiness and service. They charged me for 2 x 24 hour parkings aswell. Overall I wasn’t happy with my stay there.

This place is absolutely lovely. It was so much nicer than I anticipated it would be. The views are meh, even with a "mountain view", but the room was fantastic. Clean, well maintained, well stocked, no complaints.

Enjoyed our stay here and would stay again/recommend. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly. **Note** If you have a room facing the mountain/biking area, be prepared for LOUD music/bass as there is karaoke til 1am. We were provided with earplugs so we slept fine. If you are sensitive to loud/bass noise you may want to ask about rooms further away/other side of hotel if possible.

Stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with my wife and 1-year old daughter for two nights. We had a great experience overall; the room was comfortable and spacious, with the full kitchen and large bathroom being a nice bonus, especially with a young child. The location is excellent, with great shopping and food within walking distance, and parking was easy in the lot underneath the hotel. I'd gladly stay here again!

Great stay and room was very nice. Just be aware that the hotel is directly across from the Longhorn Pub, so apres ski music can be very loud… though it does shut down and get a lot quieter as the evening progresses and is quiet by 10pm.

We’ve stayed at a variety of hotels at Whistler previously, but never at the Sundial Hotel. The view from our room was great. Our room was located close to the elevators, and there is a noticeable hum or pitch, especially in the bedroom, which we believe was the motor of one or more of the elevators. Thus, I would say soundproofing is an issue (though this can be an issue at other hotels as well). Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The cleaning staff did an excellent job.

The hotel is amazingly luxurious. Its only steps to the Gondola. The room is unexpectedly (for Whistler) spacious, and offers comfortable luxury linen. Fully equipped kitchen, and a full living room and a nice dining area. Everything is comfortable and clean.

The valet was super helpful and accommodating with our two vehicles as well as our mountain bikes. He was attentive and we didn’t feel rushed at all unloading and loading luggage/bikes. Front desk were also helpful. Can’t wait to stay again!

Whistler is absolutely beautiful. Add to that the Sundial, and you are in for a special time. Rooms are clean. Amenities are great. Location is at the center of the action, (just feet away from the lifts, shops and restaurants) Million dollar views from the windows in your room... Check all the boxes. Honestly, all the above exceeded my expectations, but what impressed me most of all, was the staff. Everyone of the staff I met were 100% professional, and genuinely cared about my well being and satisfaction. Not just pertaining to the Sundial, but with my stay in Whistler. I would recommend the Sundial to anyone who wants to live like a king, if only for a short while. Special shout out to Erica, Ava, Cameron, Roxy, and Gemma. Thank you, for making my stay special, and I left feeling recharged, and glad that I met each of you.

Nice service. Had problem with AC unit, they promptly get someone to try to fix it. Because the staff cannot fit it right away, they offered an upgrade for us with no charge. They help move our luggage to the new room so we can enjoy Whistler.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sundial Hotel in Whistler Village, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Overall the Sundial is an average place to stay. Pros: - Great location. - Large rooms. - Kitchen included, if you need it. - Nice lobby. - Clean linens Cons: - Dated furniture/carpet with questionable cleanliness. - Parking fees are much higher than last time I stayed here - Hot-tub is only available for 30 minute increments, and water was only warm. - No breakfast - Loud bars nearby which are open until 1am. - Staff felt a bit smug I didn't mind my stay, but ill probably choose a different hotel next time.

Great little hotel with very reasonable prices for both the hotel room and parking during the low season (stayed in early May). Staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location that's easily walkable to both Blackcomb and Whistler gondolas. Can definitely recommend.

I loved this resort. One block from the gondola, close to restaurants and groceries. Staff were so friendly. The room was beautifully equipped with kitchen and fireplace. Bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub and loved the option of a private reservation. The welcome card set the tone for a place we are anxious to return to.

The Sundial has a great location with easy access to the Village Stroll. Everything is nearby and it has some really good dining options attached to hotel and easily accessible from the second floor. The rooms could use a bit of updating but otherwise, a solid option for Whistler.

Property is adjacent to the lifts,restaurant's and shops. Location can’t get better, clean and modern facility. We asked for a late checkout and I expected “ that won’t be possible” we are full etc. However, they were full, but they worked with house keeping to make it happen for us. They have Genuine customer service oriented folks working the front desk - thank ya’ll!
