Disappointing stay. I was expecting more from Novotel. First, to be aware that parking is available but at EXTRA COST ( 21 CHF if car is parked in front of hotel and 30 CHF if parked in the garage). This is not stated when booking the room. Also extra 3.5 CHF/ adult city tax. Also I was asked for my credit card details just in case damage was made to the room (I found this odd as no hotel asked for this before). We've booked a room for 2 adults & 2 kids and we got 1 double bed and one sofa bed which was very very uncomfortable. We could feel every matrass spring every time we turned. TV was not working. Old and dirty carpet. The only positive thing is that hotel is fairly close to Zurich. Otherwise, I have nothing good to say.

There was no airport shuttle as advertised. The fitness and game rooms were closed due to construction. Much of the property was under construction which was not disclosed. Room was dirty. The carpet was disgusting covered in unpleasant stains. The sofa bed that was supposed to accommodate 2 people was barely bigger than a twin mattress. Staff knocked on our door at 8am to see if we had checked out.

The hotel is close to airport and tram is right in front. Hotel lobby is nice, however the carpets in the hallways of all upper floors were really dirty, old and stained. Room carpet also had some stains but not as much. The chair had stains, beds and bathroom were ok, but one pillow had stains as well. The phone in the room didn’t work, so had to walk to the desk if anything was needed. It had a nice sauna and fitness room though. Overall it wasn’t a four star in anyway, and not worth the money we paid. We were actually disappointed, as we had higher expectations for Switzerland.

Lots of construction going on in the hotel. Might be nice to have one elevator reserved for guests and not papered for construction. Hallway carpets stained. 21 euros for overnight parking is a bit too high as well. If you need a place close to the airport, it’s fine. If not, look elsewhere.

Fantastiskt läge, 10 min till flygplatsen och 20 minuter till stan med TRAM precis utanför hotellet. Stor genomfartsväg "under" hotellet så det är lätt att ta sig till/ från även med bil. Tyst läge trots både TRAM och bilväg nära. Stor parkering. Superbra service och bemötande.

Hotel was quite disappointing in many aspects. On arrival the parking lot is in rough condition, with lots of construction and other rubbel filling one side of it. The hotel was under construction, which is fine and normal although not being warned was frustrating, but this meant then no gym, no sauna which was a big part of using this hotel and no compensation or accommodating was made. In the room the beds were very uncomfortable, springy feeling, and the TV didn't work at all.

The hotel is under complete renovation, which was not in the Expedia description. The company decided to keep rooms open during this time. Construction noises—loud—as well as a dirty towel bc wadded up in a corner and peeling floor in the bathroom—forced a room change. The restaurant was closed for renovations, which was not signaled in the Expedia description. The overall tone of the experience was, Stay out of our way while we do this renovation. Elevators covered in paper top to bottom, walls half-finished.

The hallways and rooms were exceptionally dirty, with the sole exception being the neat and clean reception area on the first floor. Additionally, construction work commenced every morning from around 8 to 9 am, resulting in considerable noise. The air conditioning in my room was non-functional. Despite my complaints, the staff failed to cooperate. They repeatedly assured me that they would contact me via the room phone to resolve the matter by either fixing the problem or switching the room, but they never did.

Room was not clean. Shower tub level was high that you'd have to be a track and field athlete to get into and take a shower. It can be dangerous exiting the shower tub. The tub got clogged while taking a shower and the water level was rising fast. No tub shower curtain and water splashed all over the floor. The sink had rust stains. When I was brushing my teeth, I noticed water was dripping and falling on my foot. When I went to bed, the bed smelled like sweat. They did not change the sheets apparently. There was what appeared to be mold on the sheet. This is a room with $200 per night. I would like to ask for a refund.

I had read mixed reviews on this hotel so was a bit worried. Sofia checked us in and was very friendly and helpful about which tram to get into Zurich. The room was very clean and seemed as it had maybe been upgraded. Seemed very new. Coop 2 min walk away and tram stop right outside.

The property is under renovation, and it seems that the hotel is doing it on the back of the guests. The room was clean and organized but the hallways are in terrible shape - carpets and wall appeared dirty and the whole property had a run down feel. Not sure how this place is still carrying a three star hotel rating.

Hotel is in good location and very close to airport. But the air conditioner on the room was not working and it was very hot weather. Contacted reception first day and they said no one available to check. Next day morning complained to reception and went for tour. When are back in the night, still same issue and they didn't bother to check. Contacted reception again and a girl came and said A/c was working. But I can see the power button on the A/C was not glowing. It's clearly not working, but she said that's how it is. My brother was staying in another room and I can see the a/c was working there. Didn't bother to contact reception again as they are of no use.

Room was nice enough but few things needed attention: curtain coming off rail and not completely blackout, tap spout was faulty so spray was in face. We'd booked a family room for 2 adults & 2kids, but room was not set up for this so I asked for another one and they gave me a room set up for 1 adult and 1child.

Short stay for a long layover and room was clean and spacious for our family of 4. Staff in front desk not very friendly at all. There was a man who yelled at me for asking about a taxi his partner ordered for me and said 2 minute wait. After 10-15 min I approached desk to see if they can see an ETA and first he ignored me while having a conversation and not acknowledging I was standing there . A couple came and skipped me and he was willing to help them until I said excuse me I have been waiting. I asked if he can check ETA of taxi and he started yelling and flipping the screen for me to see that the cab is 5-7 min away and they’ll get there when they get there. I politely said thank you I was just asking because I don’t know how things for there since it was my first visiting. Super hostile and not friendly guy.

Very poor customers service, tried calling prior to my stay so many times to confirm the booking details but no one answered, finally someone answered next day but guy refused to confirm my booking. Just wanted to let them know that I'll be checking in bit late but he didn't even listened to me. Thanks to Hotels.com for confirming my booking but i wouldn't suggest booking this hotel if you don’t want the stress before your holidays.

It was a great experience as it was close to the airport & city centre. Breakfast variety was great as it was very delicious. Enjoyed the complimentary welcome drinks. Hotell under renovering (framgick ej vid bokning). Väldigt små rum där vi plockade en hel del hår som inte kom från någon i familjen. Bedrövlig frukost med tanke på priset. Endast rostbröd som brödalternativ till exempel. Absolut inte värt pengarna ur någon aspekt. Plus för garage (för extra kostnad).

La ubicación es excelente; solo sales del Hotel y el Tram está allí mismo. El Desayuno muy bueno y variado. Las habitaciones cómodas. Fue una buena experiencia. Lo único no tan bueno es que no hay mayores opciones de alimentación alrededor; comes antes o pides a domicilio.
