The good: Very popular airport hotel located minutes from the Zürich Airport. Huge all you can eat breakfast. Decent sized rooms, nice comfy beds. Airline personnel love this place. The bad: No airport shuttle from 12:10 until 16:10. Beware of the additional “security charge” of 100CHF added to your credit card during check-in. Charges refunded ONE week later.

The shuttle shuts down from 12 noon to 4 PM and our flight landed at 11:35 AM. We had to really rush from Terminal E to the main terminal, through immigration and all the way to the shuttle, which was quite remotely parked and barely made it ! We were checked in early, which was a good gesture after that experience. The room was OK, but the safe lacked batteries, for which the hotel didn't have a replacement. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station.

The Hotel was ok but the parking situation deserves no more than one star. At a price of sfr 39 I would expect good size parking spaces and enough of them. I had to park my expensive Mercedes Rental Car in a spot where I could raffly get out, hoping the cars next to me would not scratch my rental car.

This is a good hotel for a single night stay close to the airport. It offers a limited shuttle service to the airport (no shuttle from 12-4 pm) which is great. Dining options are very limited. Don’t expect too much and it a good value for a night stay.

The free airports shuttle bus does not run all day. Just mornings and later afternoon/ evening. This was not made clear to us after sending an email inquiring. We were standing waiting at the airport 30 minutes before a general shuttle stopped and took us for €18

Had to pay to park to drop off bags before returning car to airport. Shuttle service was excellent. Food was decent in borh bar and in restaurant. Rolf in the restaurant was an excellent server and most interactive of the servers.

The first room I got the shower walls were very dirty the second room the ceiling had cracks in it and the bathroom shower was still dirty but not as bad as the first one. The staff was friendly. I took video of the bathroom and the bed was worsted I ever seen in a hotel. They offer shuttle service but for free but they didn’t mention that from 12:01pm to 4pm there is no free shuttle to the airport you would have to pay CHF 20

The lobby and staff were very welcoming and lovely. The room, however, was not the cleanest, smelled awful, hot, and noisy from some sort of machine or fan that turned on and off continuously. The bathroom had black mold in the bathtub and the towel actually had holes in them. The bed was not a double, it was two singles put together. The “mattress” was basically two single mattress pads on a box spring. Just a very tired and worn property which was in contrast to the lobby area.

Close to the airport with hotel provided transport. Excellent breakfast but diners are on the pricey side with little to no lesser priced options. Found a half empty bottle of water in our room when we first arrived, which suggested that cleaning was not up to par. If traveling and in need of a close hotel to the airport, this would be an option.

The rooms were dirty, had a musky smell . The Bathroom Doors need repair. The Elevators were not working . Had to walk up 6 floors. The A/C was not working , had to sleep with the window open hence the noise. Movenpick instead of pending money on marketing should be spending monies on the upkeep of the Hotel

The staff was very courteous; the room had a problem in that the a/c was off. A fan was provided. The TV didn't work but did become somewhat functional after an employee came to check on it. But I could not turn it on or off. The lamp on the desk/working area did not turn off. I had to unplug it. It did not turn on and off with the main room lights. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, well appointed, and the shower was very welcomed after a long day in the Alps and then traveling from Spiez to Zurich by train.

Alice at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. We arrived too early for check in, so she allowed us to store our bags in a locked room, while went to tour the Rhine Waterfall. She even told us walking directions to the near by train station, and told us which trains to take. Very courteous and friendly.

❌DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! ❌ I repeat do not book from this hotel MOVENPICK HOTEL ZURICH .. Let me break it down for you. 1. We came here at the hotel MOVeNPICK Zurich like around 10:30 PM from our flight london-zurich, The check in line was long and there’s 3 people but only 1 receptionist helping at the front desk. 2. When we finally got the key card went to our room and the key card doesn’t work so we had to go back down stairs to let them know the key card would not work and had to wait for another 20mins bcoz there’s still a big line. (This was our first night here.) 3. So finally got inside our room, GUESS what!!! The A/C doesn’t work!!! Omg! For the first time in my life that booked or stayed in a hotel without an airconditioning. And we have a baby. So went down stairs again to complain about the a/c the guy at the front desk said that it’s a centralized a/c and they don’t have a control of the temperature. They didn’t apologized. Went back our room. This is on our first night. We slept with no blankets.

The room was exactly what we needed, a base to sleep at for 2 nights. Airport transfer was great and made it so easy after a late flight. Staff friendly and happy to help. Good connections into Zurich with the train station not far away. We found an Aldi across the road, which was convenient for our food and drink for the days out in Zurich.

Clean comfortable room that is showing its age a bit. Bathroom sink faucet handle moved with difficulty. Tub/shower setup was a bit strange but is typical for Switzerland Le Chalet restaurant was very nice and the menu was diverse and the wild pig entrecote was delicious. The breakfast buffet was large, delicious, and typically Swiss.

Nice enough hotel with efficient shuttle service. Breakfast is an absolute rip off. There are hundreds of tour groups that decend on the breakfast in the morning leaving very little to eat. There was lots of errors with items marked as dairy free and other allergens which clearly were not.

The room was clean, spacious, and reasonably priced. The hotel is a 5-minute cab ride (22 euros! Yikes!) from the airport; you can reportedly also get there by tram. Every 20 minutes during most of the day, there is a free shuttle back to the airport. The staff were very nice. The breakfast buffet, which was included in the price, was outstanding! It had almost everything you could want other than an omelet station. Even (to my astonishment) pine nuts, which are delicious, and $22 a pound in the U.S. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend that anybody stay at this hotel. First of all, the service was terrible. I tried calling the hotel three times and sent two emails with questions prior to my arrival. I never received a response, and when I brought this up at the check-in counter, the staff simply told me that the people responsible were on vacation. Furthermore, the bathroom had black mold all over the ceiling and clearly had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Lastly, the staff at reception was rude and unhelpful. For anybody looking for a hotel, this is definitely not the one.
