Since 1999, Radisson was my choice No1. So there was no question where to stay. Checking in process was quick and clear. Of course it was strange to pay additional amount for parking - 30 € per stay, but ... OK. When we went out of the elevator, i smell strange smell, and understand, that this is mold see photo no1. In the room smell was worse, and mold was everywhere under the wallpaper. We left this hotel asap.

Incheckning var grym. Så himla trevlig var han. Rummen var fina. Sängarna skulle kunna vara lite bättre för en junior svit. Frukosten var ok första morgonen sen tyvärr blev det bara sämre. Fanns inte glas, kaffekoppar, skålar och under långa stunder fanns ingen personal. Maten var inte lagad med omsorg tyvärr. Det fylldes på långsamt och många stod och väntade. Gymmet var otroligt varmt alla dagar. Ingen AC. Trasiga maskiner och väldigt gammalt. Cardio maskinerna var ok.

The room I got was excellent and renovated😀 The hotel is old and so areas are really inplace to be shined up.Fittness was bad compared to earlier, where it was excellent. The bath area was fine and with new saunas. The pool is an area that need to be shined up. The staff was everything from really serviceminded and others were more in there own thoughts. But no doubt I will stay there next time as well

15 minutes walk from the old town. Large rooms, we had balcony. Rooms badly need refurbishing. Visible old water leaks in the ceiling and walls. Functionsl but noisy AC. No bike rental, even though advertised. Pool and spa closed due to «maintenance» and had been closed for years. Breakfast is good.

Das Hotel ist - was man ja aber vorher weiß - nicht unmittelbar in der Innenstadt, sondern auf der anderen Seite der Düna gelegen, aber verkehrstechnisch super mit mehreren Bus- und Straßenbahnlinien ans Zentrum angebunden. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und mit Balkon und Couch ausgestattet (womöglich ein kostenloses Upgrade). Leider ist das Hotel arg in die Jahre gekommen, was sich schon an der Hausfassade zeigt und durch alle weiteren Bereiche, vom Teppich über die Möbel bis zu den Tapeten zieht. Ein absolutes Nogo ist, dass der Pool, der auf den Bildern auf Expedia schön in Szene gesetzt wird, nicht kostenfrei zugänglich ist, vielmehr wird hier für ein begrenztes Zeitfenster ein Zusatzpreis von 15 EUR verlangt. Auch wenn Expedia nicht ausdrücklich den Pool als Inklusivleistung bezeichnet, wird andersrum auch nicht auf die Extragebühren hingewiesen. Dafür kann das Hotel womöglich nichts, wobei dann auch der Name "Hotel & Spa" irreführend ist.

Construction going on first floor of building, have to pay to use pool and spa that is shown in pictures, only assisted once by front desk when checking in, every other time was ignored, rooms run down and messy, and very out of the way. Save your money for a cheaper and better hotel in old town. Also, wanted to reiterate the services advertised (pool/spa) are not apart of hotel, they are run by a company called KO. Do not expect a place with spa in the name to actually provide a spa to guests.

Gute gelegenes Hotel, ideal um von hier aus seine Stadtbesichtigung zu starten. Das Hotel verfügt über einen großen Parkplatz. Der Wellness Bereich und Swimmingpool ist nicht kostenlos und zwei Stunden kosten 15 €, das hätte aus meiner Sicht bei der Buchung erwähnt werden müssen. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und es Bedarf einer Renovierung. Das Personal ist freundlich und man wird an der Rezeption sehr nett empfangen. Frühstück ist ausreichend und mit liebe zum Detail angerichtet.

Noisy and dusty rooms. AC not working. No hot water in the shower. I guess it's just surviving last months (hopefully not years) before refurbishment. Breakfast and staff ok.

Von Seiten des Hotels würde uns ein uraltes Zimmer zugeteilt. Vor Ort buchten wir ein Upgrade gegen Aufpreis und bekamen ein neues Zimmer. Leider wurde es während unseres kompletten Aufenthaltes nie gereinigt. Das Frühstück war gut und. abwechslungsreich. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen

Der rengøres ikke værelser under påskud af miljøvenlighed. Det kan ikke være sandt at oprydning og støvsugning skulle være miljøuvenligt. Desuden var værelserne alt for varme eller kolde og generelt meget dårligt vedligeholdt

Stayed two nights. Room was not cleaned or made up after being at work all day. Endless lineups at reception with lack of staff. Poorly equipped tables in resto. Staff will not bring anything to rooms if requested, for example extra glasses cutlery. Had to clean my own room and toilet. Overall, unpleasant stay.

Lovely view of the city from the room. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very nice and updated but exterior needs massive renovation. Still, the best hotel in Riga. Too many smokers at the entrance. Breakfast was lovely.

This was an interesting experience for sure. The staff were super friendly and helpful so high regards to them! The room was very clean but it felt I stepped back into the 90s because it was very outdated. We stayed in 602.There were also stains on the box spring and the curtains (as well as a few holes). The hinge on the window was also loose. The room itself definitely needs a face life. I suggest staying on the other side of the river if you don’t want to walk over the bridge to get to the old town. The view from our room was amazing though!

We enjoyed our stay in Riga and we didn’t have big demands on hotel. Hotel is bit older but well functional. Only remarks are that heating was not up to outside weather, it was little chilly in room and it’s almost impossible to see through windows because of condensation between glasses.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Latvian National Library and overlooks the Daguava River. Beautiful and relaxing river walk available to hotel guests. The staff were simply outstanding from the front desk attendants to the housekeeping staff. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and courteous.

Why is it, when we on the first day told you that the TV in our room wasn't working, still no one does anything? Try again the next day - nothing? Try with a "Securityofficer" who told me he wasn't very skilled in technics, but - why send him? Ended up without a TV in a Suite for 3 days? For real, in a junior suite and a normal TV in 2025? The areas around the breakfast area ain't working. You know how many people there are in the hotel, allthough the area is out of tables due to lack of cleaning (used tables), no coffee in the machines and only a few people to help? Nice LIVE music on sunday morning, I liked that.

The room with the city view was amazing and being near to the old town (on foot) was a good option. One could see tbe old town from the window , the experience is worth it. The facilities at the hotel were amazing. The room aas clean and tidy. The location is also amazing as it is closer to the airport and easy to get there even with the public transport.

The Blu was an easy walk across the bridge, but a major hotel near the airport should provide a shuttle to and fro, for the convenience. Otherwise a nice pleasant stay.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Short walk into Riga old town, on key bus and tram routes. Easy access to the airport too. Line 22 bus stops outside the hotel. Comfortable and clean. Very 90s in some places, but clean, functional and in good condition.

Hotel is in a good location. If you happen to stay on the Riverside, you have great views of the city the buffet breakfast in the morning is outstanding probably the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel easily walkable to get into downtown Riga or you can take the shuttle across the bridge 10 to 15 minute walk or a five minute shuttle ride Great place to stay if you’re Riga

This hotel offers exceptional value for money, with a convenient 15-minute walk to the city center. Located on the 'new town' side of the river, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the Old Town. Our room provided an incredible and modern ambiance and was well-equipped for our family of 4. While breakfast was average, the overall experience was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring awesome Riga!

Hotel ist gut gelegen. In 5min ist man an den Haltestellen der Öffentlichen Nahverkehrsmittel von Riga. Die ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstücks Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und ausreichend.

Det er ikke hvad vi forventede af et ophold på Radisson, fugt pletter på fugerne på badeværelset, tapeten var sluppet flere steder og udsigten var til airconditionen på taget.morgenmads udvalget var super, men desværre var det der skulle være varmt,koldt.

The photos are very deceiving. This hotel is very, very old. It was very clean but the rooms were so depressing. €15 to use the pool and gym only open 8am to 9pm, not convenient for before or after work. I would say they make the best of what they can in the rooms but the “artwork” was a photo of a dilapidated building…. Life imitating art.
