Hotel ótimo, reformado, café da manhã bom! Tem estacionamento porém não comporta para todos os hóspedes. Nem chegamos a ver. Nos informaram q era pequeno e que estava lotado. Tivemos q parar no estacionamento público e com isso, gastamos mais. Deveriam informar e deixar claro e o estacionamento não comporta todos os carros e é uma questão de sorte. Isso decepcionou

Perto da estação de trem, comércio ao redor, acomodaçōes excelentes, café da manhã excepcional. Disponibilizam bicicletas para um passeio pela cidade.

We stayed here 2 nights to visit Cinque Terre area. For that it was a perfect location since it´s next to the train station. We booked parking, but when arriving the garage door was partly blocked and so tiny that our car could not even get in. The staff though solved it perfectly arranging with another parking place in an alternative space!

Très bien, mis à part que l’ascenseur était en panne et qu’en 4 jours il n’était pas encore réparé.

The hotel is close to the station but that was the only good thing. The room is too small and the staff was not nice. The hotel doesn't have parking and you should pay ~25 Euros a day for parking.

A fantastic hotel. A lot of money has been spent renovating it to a high standard. Our room was excellent with an amazing view over the town. The breakfast was generally good, but the hot choices did not have warmers under them and were therefore cold! The receptionists were super helpful with check-in and guiding us to the underground car park. As it is an old hotel, there is more than one lift. The one we used was quirky and tiny - only fitting 2 people with 2 cases.

The hotel was nice and clean. The only complaint I have is the parking. Terrible! We arrived on a Saturday and there were no spots in the hotel parking lot. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because they had parking. They kind of just left it up to us to find our own parking. The who city was full that day and there was not a spot to be had. Do not advertise parking on your website if you do not have enough spots for all of your guests. Very frustrating.

This hotel was very convenient to take the train to Cinque Terre( station is across the street). The restaurant was very good for supper and aperitivo!

Ideally located, nice staff, excellent restaurant and bar, lovely decor. Our room was on the small side and we noticed a few signs that some upkeep was needed (wallpaper peeling off the corner or the wall, shower door had a bit of mildew in the corners and hard to reach places). But overall a comfortable stay. The restaurant and bar was the highlight for us. It's a nice area to walk at night, animated and lively in the streets around.

The staff was great. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location was central to all major sights. The breakfast was amazing and something we looked forward to every day.

After long touristy day and early evening train trip, planned stop here for one night bf Cinque Terra stay in Monterosso (OMG-Hotel Porto Roca awesome!). Assigned suite 26, big 3 room suite BUT, stain on ceiling from prior water leak in tv room and bathroom smelled foul/mold-like, (perhaps behind walls?), especially after showering. Fan just made it smell worse. We opened all windows for our short 10 hour stay and checked out early next morning without comment but suite 26 needs some work. Proficient staff, Great breakfast in modern downstairs setting and super close to train station but room was lower end of our comfort and luxury scale and bad bathroom odors so we would not stay here again.

We recently stayed at Hotel Firenze e Continentale in July 2024, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite some positive aspects ( only one is closeness to train station ) the hotel has serious issues with inconsistency and misleading presentation. The hotel is conveniently located, providing easy access to local attractions and amenities in the area. This was one of the few positive aspects of our stay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite and informative, giving us a warm welcome and details about the hotel’s amenities. **Room:** This is where the problems began. The hotel has two different lifts: one leads to a modernized part of the hotel, and the other to a run-down, dirty section. We were unfortunately placed in the latter. Our room was dirty and poorly maintained, with outdated furniture and inadequate facilities. The overall cleanliness was severely lacking, which was disappointing. **Facilities** The reception and dining areas are misleadingly presented, giving an impression of uniform quality throughout the hotel. However, this is not the case. The modernized part of the hotel may be up to standard, but the older section is not. The dining area, though visually appealing, does not make up for the poor room conditions. Reception lady was very accomodating and appeared equally as shocked when we showed her the photos of the room. We were moved to a different room, and although cleaner, we would not stay at thjs hotel again.

Great room and excellent breakfast. Close to great restaurants. All staff were very helpful and efficient. Room and bathroom were clean.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was located a 3-min walk to the train station which was ideal since we took the train several times to the 5 little Cinque Terre towns.

L’hôtel est magnifique pour ce qui est des parties communes. Il semblerait que nous ayons eu la chambre la moins bien placée alors que nous avions pris la « chambre supérieure ». La chambre est située directement en haut a gauche des escaliers au premier étage, à la portée de tous les bruits et notamment de la sonnette qui retenti deux fois à chaque fois que quelqu’un passe la porte d’entrée (insupportable!). Les autres chambres sont un peu plus loin et isolées du bruit. Enfin, il convient de noter la présence de moisissure tout autour de la baignoire.. de l’eau coulait sur le sol après la douche. Il semble que le problème ne date pas d’aujourd’hui au vu de la moisissure accumulée. Nous ne pouvions pas changer de chambre car « l’hôtel était complet ». Je ne recommande pas au vu du prix de la nuit à plus de 140€. Il s’agit plutôt d’un 3 étoiles et non d’un 4 étoiles.

The room was small and the shower stall was tiny. I am not a large person at 155 lbs. It was very difficult to shower and maneuver in such a confined space. It was literally 2 ft.x2ft. Larger size adults should inquire before booking, I wish I had known.

We stayed in the updated rooms on the property. They were very beautiful and comfortable..

The function being held in the hotel was very noisy and was still going beyond 3am.

This hotel is very convenient to the La Spezia train station at around 100 yards from the exit. If you are using La Spezia Sa hub to visit Cinque Terra and Pisa this hotel is perfectly located. You can walk too many restaurants but don’t have to lug your bags deep into the city upon arrival. We had a room with a king bed on the ground floor but it wasn’t noisy at all. The property has invested in very good windows to keep nose way down. Our room was very modern and clean and quite spacious. I’ve read about other negative experiences at this property with the older rooms but we didn’t have that experience at all. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant is also quite good if you don’t feel like walking deeper into La Spezia for dinner.

Good place with the exception of the shower. The shower space is extremely tight.

The people and service where really good, the common areas of the hotel and the area where the hotel are located are great but the room was very small and outdated, nice but need to be renovated to match the rest of the place.

There seems to be a wide variety of room conditions in this hotel. The rooms pictured on Expedia are the nice rooms and the room we checked into was not typical of the pictures. There was a large bubbling on the wall and the room needed various things fixed. It was very clean and the bathroom was updated. The only issues in the bathroom was the showerhead was too close to the front wall and was a vertical rain shower also the commode was tight in a corner and your knee would hit the wall.

This was so perfect for visiting Cinque Terre. Fast walk from the train, which let us stay out late visiting the towns. Our only negative was the shower was tiny. We’re not big people and we felt how small it was. If you weight more than 175 this won’t work for you.

Great location, close to train station and pedestrian streets for shops and restaurants. Modern, renovated rooms.

My husband and I chose this hotel because it was right in the center of the town. The pictures on the website looked really nice and it had the good reviews. The reality was that the hall and the restaurant area were really nice but the rooms were absolutely outdated, with old carpet and walpaper. The air-conditioner unite barely blew any air. Luckily we stayed only for one night.

The staff was great. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location was central to all major sights. The breakfast was amazing and something we looked forward to every day.

The property seems relatively new , great breakfast buffet . Spacious rooms . Front desk staff knowledgeable and helpful. Perfectly located to grab the train to Cinque Terre.

Perfect location close to train station and 15 minutes walk to boats. Excellent service by very hospitable staff.

Reception staff was somewhat indifferent in helping us figure out where to park as their parking was full.

Customer service was great. Jazz night on the day we arrived in the bar area which they asked if we would like to attend. Gave us milk for our tea at no charge. Room comfortable and quiet. Breakfast great. Lots of options and fresh fruit.

They can improve their service. The staff did not seem to care much.

My low rating is mainly because they absolutely refused to give us kettle! We were informed that because we were in an “economy” room we weren’t allowed to have one - only people in fancy rooms were allowed!! So ridiculous - I’ve never had that happen anywhere in the world or in any of the other 4 hotels we stayed in on our Italy vacation. We like our tea, so every time we wanted hot water we had to go begging for it at the front desk and wait while they filled a teapot for us. We had done 2 hectic weeks in Rome and Venice and I was excited to have a long lazy first morning in La Spezia drinking tea and catching up on emails and social media only to discover that not only was there no kettle but also no internet! I even got dressed and went down to get hot water only to find the front desk crowded with guests checking out so I sadly went back to my room to drink water and sulk!! The room was also extremely small and dark. We did ask to upgrade, but they were full so we couldn’t, although they did let us have a slightly larger room with a bigger window. I guess the hotel is so conveniently situated for catching the train to Cinque Terre that they don’t have to bother as it’s fully booked all the time. On the plus side, the public areas of the hotel are lovely, the restaurant was good, and it’s very conveniently situated. Maybe just don’t book an economy room if you don’t want to be treated like a low class guest!

We chose this hotel because it is very close to La Spezia's main railway station and hence very convenient for visiting Cinque Terre, Levanto and other locations. We had a suite, which was pleasant and roomy. Staff were all helpful and nice. The buffet breakfast comprised many items but service was rather patchy, mainly because of insufficient staff on duty. Coffee orders were sometimes completed and sometimes not. The fruit regularly ran out and replenishment often took some time. There was also a rather limited range of fruit. No freshly squeezed fruit juice, except at an extra charge, which is not usual in Mediterranean countries in my experience. The cooked breakfast buffet was lukewarm at best and generally underwhelming.

The hotel was situated a three minute walk to the train station which we used quite a bit during our two day stay. The rooms were average size and clean. The staff seemed a little bit snobby. We had booked two consecutive nights and they could not accommodate us in the same room so we had to switch rooms after the first night. They did, however, move all our luggage to the new room so that was good. Overall, I would give them an eight out of 10 rating.

Great hotel, opposite public transport. Walkable to all restaurants and ports to catch ferry. Love it and will stay again

This property was so nice. Very Morden and clean. The staff are super nice. It is perfect location for visiting Cinque Terre. 3min from the station. And also very closed to old town. Tons of excellent restaurants near by. All in walking distances. Excellent.

This hotel has great location almost across from train station, very quiet, and offers modern and well appointed rooms. Hotel is also near pedestrian street full of restaurants, terraces and some shopping. Also twenty minute walk to harbour. Hotel has parking via back street entrance.

Hotels near steps from the train station. A great location for a day trip to Cinque Terra. Purchasing of train ticket and a day pass was quick and easy. The station is great for quick connections to other location in Italy. The close proximity to the train stations allow you extra time to sleep and recharge yourself for other adventures.

We got to stay in one of the new rooms and it was very nice. We ate in the restaurant both nights and it was excellent. The buffet breakfast was also good. Great proximity to the train station.

This hotel is conveniently located near the main train station of La Spezia (An easy three minute walk). It was likewise convenient for a walk to restaurants and retail shops along a major business district. The atmosphere in the hotel is upscale and the we found the service provided at the front desk - and in the lounge/restaurant - attentive and friendly. Food and beverages were delicious: a real treat for us at the end of our travel day. In the morning, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel and found the buffet selection varied and plentiful. We will not hesitate to book another visit to the hotel should we be lucky enough to travel to the region again.

Hotel tres bien situé à 2mn à pied de la gare centrale de La Spezia , hyper pratique pour visiter les 5 Terres avec la tren card. Hotel tres propre avec des parties communes , rénovées sans doute recemment , tres agreables. Accueil impecable , en francais. Chambre standart ( dans la partie arrière de l'immeuble )qui date un peu mais "fait le job". Petit dejeuner excellent. Nombreuses options de restauration a proximité. Au total un tres bel hotel qui nous a permis de visiter les 5 Terres en 2 jours de façon optimale avec visite de Porto Venere le 3ème jour avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. A recommander.
