Amazing ocean views. Loved the pool and the pool side restaurant with a view of the ocean. You have to book the pool, but not difficult to find a slot for a couple of hours and pool is free for hotel guests. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Overall a great hotel!

Great location with fantastic views. Room, bathroom and decor a bit dated, but all lovely and clean. Breakfast is ok, not lots of choice for a hotel of this size, but very attentive staff. Pool area is lovely, feels very exclusive as limited seating, but you do need to book your 2 hour slot daily which we could do quite easily as our room was close to the rooftop pool. Also be prepared that to enter the pool itself you must wear a swim cap. Poolside staff very nice though, and served a lovely limoncello spritz! Main reception staff also very helpful with tips on pre-fixing the price of the taxi on way back to airport. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants close by, but the hotel still quiet at night.

Meh! If you choose this hotel because it has a pool, you will most likely be sorely disappointed, especially if you have a family. Nicely designed pool but really quite small so very limited space. You need to book - each and every day - your two hours alloted slot the day before! Tough luck for you if you happen to be out on a full day excursion...cannot book ahead...wow. Furthermore the pool doesn't open until 11am!!! Why not open at 8am for example, in order to maximise availability for everyone...especially if you have kids?? Nice restaurant with lovely view for breakfast but the food is exactly the same every day..gets monotonous very quickly. Room comfortable and well enough appointed, if a little old fashioned. The big upside for this hotel is the staff, their friendliness and professionalism. They really are fantastic! Bravo.

Was very disappointed overall, booked this hotel for one night and the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working. Went to front desk and the woman who helped me stated that she was able to fix it from from her end and it turned out that what ever she did, it did nothing. That room was HOT. The showers had huge amounts of hair clogged, disgusting. The mini bar was completely empty had a puddle of water in the middle. I had to go to the front once again to advise because the mini bar didn’t have water. When I checked out I expressed my concern to the concierge and he basically didn’t care. He didn’t even offer to get manager to try to accommodate me. This hotel is not cheap I paid $350 for one night, the least they can do is try to accommodate you. The pool is very small and you have to make reservations and are allowed to swim in for 2 hours, so keep that in mind when booking. I deft would not stay here again.

Amazing location on the waterfront and an easy walking distance from many attractions. Hotel was spotless, beds were super comfy, complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of foods in a beautiful room overlooking the castle. It was off season so was able to receive an upgraded room with a balcony with a partial castle view. Such a bonus! I would definitely stay here again.

Room spotless; view amazing. Sparkling and still water in room fridge each day. Complimentary sparkling wine and cake delivered to room on birthday. Great massages available. Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely and amazing view.

Staff was great. Bathrooms need updating badly. The showers needed to be cleaned better -- black stuff on the tiles that wiped away with a light scrubbing. The toilet ran non-stop and made a terrible noise. They sent someone to fix it and the noise went from every 15 minutes to every 5 minutes. I wouldn't stay there again.

The service in Hotel Royal Continental is perfect. We stayed for 5 nights. People are friendly and efficient. The room was very clean, lovely bathroom (shower in the bath tub). Room and beds comfortable. Our room was on the side of the hotel with a nice view on the Mediteranean. Nice balcony. Within a 15 minutes walk one is on the Piazza Plebiscito. The breakfast was good with lots of choice. Coffee was good.The only minor point was the orange juice. Freshly pressed oranges were missed. The stay in the hotel would be even nicer with chairs on the balcony, because the view is really nice. Besides these 2 minor points: an excellent hotel.

We were there just for one night before an early flight home. The area around the hotel is much quieter and safer than further into Naples city centre where we'd previously stayed. We paid extra for a sea view as it was our last night in Italy and the room was spacious and clean, although maybe the style was a little dated for my taste. There were many restaurants to choose from in the area and it's about a 10 min walk into the shopping areas.

The room was very hot. I booked a room with a balcony and a view to be able to sit out on it, but the balcony doesn’t have chairs to sit on. That was very disappointing. The air conditioning was not working well. It was VERY hot, and we had trouble sleeping because the room didn’t cool down. Also, there are no ice machines. If you want ice, you have to call room service and they charge you $4 Euros for it.

The bathtub/shower was tiny though and made it uncomfortable to shower before our flight. Breakfast was also awful. We were there at the very start and the eggs were ice cold….very odd.

Seriously this is a hotel that you will not remember. A hotel which has everything and absolutely nothing. The staff were obviously trained well to give out absolutely nothing. We had a balcony and no furniture what was the point. No iron or ironing board but you could pay to have your shirts ironed between 9-5 at a price which was ridiculous. You could buy an iron cheaper down the street cheaper than it was to have two shirts ironed.

The staff went out of their way to make us welcome, they were courteous, kind and helpful whenever they had the opportunity. You felt at home immediately. Breakfast was amazing! There was so much choice and everything was delicious. Hospitality was excellent, they couldn’t do enough for you. Delightful room with great facilities. Fantastic location, you could see and enjoy the sea, the castle is in clear view and many restaurants are nearby. Would highly recommend staying here!

Upon checking into my room, there was a strong sour odor and the A/C wasn’t working properly. I called the front desk and they sent maintenance to check. Then I I noticed the tub drain was stuck closed. I called the front desk again and maintenance arrived over an hour later and was rude like it was my fault. After that first night, I could not endure the odor and decided to cut my 3 day reservation a day short. I went to the front desk in the morning to let them know I would be checking out the next morning, one day early. They told me that was fine and I would just have to pay for the 2 nights upon checkout. The next morning when I checked out at the front desk, they confirmed again that I would not be charged for the 3rd night. The employee who checked me out even called her manager over to confirm I only had to pay for 2 nights. She confirmed that and then I paid what was due for 2 nights. Later that day, they charged me for the 3rd night with no notice. I find this very unprofessional and upsetting especially since they confirmed multiple times that I would not be charged. I tried to contact the hotel after I got back home and could not get a response from them. Expedia customer service also tried contacting the hotel several times and could not get a response back. I do not recommend staying at this hotel in Naples. It is VERY outdated. Limited food options at the restaurant/room service and the pool is tiny and you have to make reservations for it.

Fabulous stay at the Royal Continental. Everyone was gracious and attentive. Extra praise to Emmanuel at the breakfast. He was attentive and remembered orders. A definite asset to the team. Amazing hotel, location is perfect to be slightly away from the busy hustle and bustle of the centre but within 15 minutes walk of all the sites. Roof top bar is great and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk away. The service at this hotel was absolutely excellent. The included breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and some of the best baked goods I had in Italy. The rooms were very comfortable and the lifts were small but fast which meant not having to wait long. Nice views of the bay at breakfast and from our balcony. Easy to walk to shopping/museum areas.

We were tired upon arrival because we had been stuck on the train due to a minor seismic event. The reception desk was very friendly and helpful. The small cocktail bar said they did not have snack food even though reception stated that they did and other people were eating. They sent us to the pool bar. We had wonderful service here. Then later that night we were too tired to go out so we ordered room service. We paid over $100 for TERRIBLE food. The salads were $20 euro and they were gross. The burger was grey. It was disgusting and we ended up just going to bed. The breakfast staff were great. The food was delicious.
