Very nice hotel which is very central, right next to Termini, the main train station. Check in was great and we were able to get into our room early. The room and bathroom were modern and clean. The food we ordered was also excellent. Only a couple of small things stopped us giving an overall top rating - there only appears to be one very small lift so if it’s busy you can wait quite a while and the choice of tv channels isn’t great so a Netflix option would be good. No obvious recycling either. Overall though, I’d definitely recommend the hotel for a stay in Naples.

Loved this hotel and our stay! All convenient, location by train & bus station, restaurants everywhere, our Pompei tour picked us up out front. Parking easy in garage of hotel. Last day we checked out, left luggage at hotel, left car in garage, and out exploring. No problems. Beautiful lobby, we had balcony 5th floor, breakfast included, perfect. Give the place 10++!

The hotel, staff, and hotel accommodations were excellent. However, there was a significant level of noise from other guests, which persisted throughout the night and included sounds such as telephones ringing in the middle of the night, as well as ambulance and police sirens. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that access to the 7th-floor outlook was restricted due to ongoing construction.

Perfect hotel for those who want/need to stay by the main station. Staff service was excellent, very accommodating of my large group’s requests. The rooms were surprisingly big. There is a lovely terrace on the 7th floor, with great views of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. Metro station and major bus routes just steps away from the front door.

Great hotel directly across the street from the central train station, which is not only a convenient way to travel to/from Napoli, but also to get back & forth to the tourist sites in the area, such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Reggia di Caserta, all of which we visited and enjoyed. We had a spacious, comfy corner room with small balconies and views of the piazza. Everything in the room was wonderful, although the bed was very hard, which messed with my husband's back a bit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile to help out with a special request. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. There is a pretty decent gym with enough equipment to get the job done, though it gets no air flow and it gets very warm in there, fyi. Nice to sweat a bit in the winter though!

Arriving at the hotel a Porter helped us bring our luggage into the lobby. We were early, bags were kept for us. The room was large with a clothes nook, large bathroom, kettle, coffees and teas, minifridge. Breakfast was very good, although due to the number of guests it did get busy at times. There are four electric scooters to rent at the lobby. Guests can stay for an aperitif. The lobby is very spacious with many seating areas with tables. Elevator for 4 people. The hotel is steps away from Centrale and it’s shops including Feltrellini and a ‘food court’ with very good cafes. Also in front of Centrale and very close to the hotel are the Metro and bus stops to reach other areas of the city.

Greatly appreciated the onsite parking which is a rarity in downtown Napoli. Overnight parking is available but be warned if you need to leave early the garage doesn't open until 6AM. You will need to hand over your car keys while parked so the attendants can park and move your car in the garage during your stay. Its also a single lane entry/exit ramp next to a major pedestrian path to the train station so don't rush in/out of the garage.

Famoso hotel nella piazza Garibaldi antistante la stazione. Classico hotel 4 stelle, ben tenuto nelle parti comuni. Piccola palestra in una stanza, fruibile 24h (mancano tappetini). Colazione continentale, non particolarmente partenopea (escluso le piccole sfoglie ricce), di buona qualità ma non eccelsa. Numeroso staff di servizio, qualificato. Odore non gradevole dal bagno nella stanza, non so se un problema di quella stanza o generale. Ottimi materassi e cuscini. Quindi un classico 4 stelle, con prezzi da 4 stelle (rapporto qualità prezzo buona), di quelli che trovi in tutte le grandi città nelle vicinanze della stazione.

The room was spacious and sparkling clean. The hotel was right across the street from the train station, which was a big plus for us. We were first concerned that it could be noisy but we were given a room facing a side street so it was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay there.

La camera fin da subito era impregnata da un tanfo di fumo, abbiamo aperto la finestra e siamo usciti, prima di andare a dormire abbiamo dovuto chiudere ma durante la nottenil tanfo è risalito ai livelli iniziali tanto da non riuscire a dormire: il motivo è la scarsissima pulizia di tende e piumone che non vengono lavati da molto tempo; riferita la cosa alla reception, la risposta è stata che l'avrebbero fatta presente alle addette alla pulizia che ad ogni evidenza non hanno responsabilità perché trattasi di omesse procedure da parte della direzione di pulizie cicliche di tende e piumone

Very clean. Literally steps from train station to room. Nice and helpful staff. Restaurants so close, pizza, pastries, groceries. Very nice room and big bed! Room a little warm for me even with air on.

Hotel inside wasn’t clean prior. Sink had male hair from someone shaving prior. Shower was not clean had a film. Bed was dirty and dusty under. Area was near a train station good if you are looking to travel place to place. Area however isn’t nice considering it’s near a train station. Staff was really nice and helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located by the train and the underground train. The views in the back accommodations are less appealing but our room was beautiful and furnished nicely. We had a ton of space and a luxurious bathroom. The only downside was that we could hear the children in the adjoining room as they took their nightly baths. Laughing and splashing were frequent sounds heard through the vents. Lucia, front desk personnel, assisted with our check in and stay and was very accommodating. She made sure that all of our questions were answered and that we had transportation at time of check out. We ate the breakfast but didn’t feel it was worth the price charged. We found a bakery around the corner with the best cappuccino, fruit smoothies, and pastries (Caffeterria Rosticceria) It was well worth the one-minute walk. This part of Naples does leave a lot to be desired. It is dirty and swarming with police and guards. I guess that made it feel safe at least in the tourist areas. I would definitely recommend this property but suggest caution when hanging out around the town.

Rooms were extremely hot. When we called the desk we were told to use the thermostat on the wall...but it didn't work either. Beds were hard as concrete. The food was excellent and the room was spacious and clean if you could stand no working A/C.

The staff at this property were lovely and very helpful. We noticed upon arrival that the room was really warm, and we were told that they don't turn the AC on anymore because it's October now. However, it was still warm outside. They suggested opening our balcony door but it was right on the train tracks so incredibly noisy and also let some mosquitos in. I did let them know that we wouldn't have stayed here if we had known that the AC would not be an option.

This place is across the street from the train station. A literal stones throw, which is great for traveling. We had a Jr Suite with balcony view of Vesuvius. The room was very big and clean. Our TV did not work. Someone came to the room within 15 minutes to check it. It was a bad modem, couldn't be fixed then. He said he could check to see if there was another room. We have stayed here before & would definitely stay here again.
This place is across the street from the train station. A literal stones throw, which is great for traveling. We had a Jr Suite with balcony view of Vesuvius. The room was very big and clean. Our TV did not work. Someone came to the room within 15 minutes to check it. It was a bad modem, couldn't be fixed then. He said he could check to see if there was another room. Very nice bed, excellent breakfast. The big problem for this hotel is that it is next to a very busy street right in front of the train station, where the traffic is often confusing and interrupted by tourists. And the cars lay on the horns in response, so much honking. Even the best windows can't protect you from the noise.

Very nice facility, breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only drawback is that there is no a/c. We were there in April and had to be moved to a room facing outside. Our 1st room faced an interior courtyard was was hot at night. We were told there’s no a/c in Naples.

I saw on my voucher from Hotel.com that a bottle of welcome wine was provided for a stay of 2 nights, so I inquired about it when I checked in at the front desk. The staff told me that the hotel did not place wine in the rooms, so I should take a bottle from the lobby bar and leave my room number. Following this advice, I obtained a bottle of wine from the lobby bar. However, upon checking out, another front desk staff insisted that I should pay for the wine I took from the lobby bar. As usual with Starhotels, the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable and location always convenient. Worst service from one of the female staff during breakfast - ignored guests many times and makes you feel most unwelcome and that she doesn’t want you there. You know who this is if you go there - I won’t be going there again Very helpful staff at reception, but what is the point of sending a request and registering before I arrive to then wait for it all to be uploaded again in reception on arrival? Your systems are very slow!

A deeply disappointing and infuriating experience. We stayed at this hotel from July 26–29, 2025, and were shocked by how we were treated during our 4 a.m. checkout. Despite telling the front desk agent three times that we did not use the minibar, he accused us of lying and insisted on checking the room. We allowed it, even though we were rushing to catch an international flight. While he was gone, his colleague...more aggressive and rude...yelled at us, saying we could not leave until the minibar check was complete. We felt intimidated and disrespected, as if we were criminals. My friend and I are both professional Asian American women in our early 40s. She is a middle school science teacher, and I am a university adjunct professor and business analyst. The way we were treated bore no respect for who we are as individuals...or as paying guests. When the minibar was found untouched, there was no apology. Instead, they tried to make small talk...as if that erased the humiliation. The staff’s behavior was completely unprofessional, and this left a terrible final impression on our trip. Whether this was discrimination or poor training, it was unacceptable. We will never return to this hotel and urge others...especially women and people of color...to think twice before booking.

Let me start by saying that this is a VERY nice hotel. Staff was great. Hotel is super clean and modern. However………. The area is horrible! It’s across the street from the train station. There’s graffiti everywhere, Homeless people, dirtiness. We had already booked a food walking tour and let me tell you: it didn’t get any better. We originally booked 3 nights and checkout after night one and headed to sorrento. The hotel refused to refund us even partially for the 2 remaining nights. When I was checking out, the receptionist wasn’t surprised that we were leaving and stated, “it’s probably because you didn’t like the area.” Ummmmm….. yes! Our fault for not doing research ahead of time. If you have done research and want to stay in the area, please book this hotel. You won’t regret it! But I do suggest to do more research before spending a few nights in this area of Naples.

Hotel and staff were kind and courteous, however, the location, although being close to all transportation is less than stellar. Walking a block away from hotel will put you in a questionable area. Police and military presence is everywhere. Again, hotel and service great, area not so great.

Great hotel directly across the street from the central train station, which is not only a convenient way to travel to/from Napoli, but also to get back & forth to the tourist sites in the area, such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Reggia di Caserta, all of which we visited and enjoyed. We had a spacious, comfy corner room with small balconies and views of the piazza. Everything in the room was wonderful, although the bed was very hard, which messed with my husband's back a bit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile to help out with a special request. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. There is a pretty decent gym with enough equipment to get the job done, though it gets no air flow and it gets very warm in there, fyi. Nice to sweat a bit in the winter though!

The location is excellent if arriving or leaving from Napoli Central Station as it is literally across the station. What is a great advantge is also a bit of a disadvantage as it is usually the case, areas around central tratin stations are not the nicest, but during the day I felt totally safe walking and within 5 minutes of walking you are in very tourist spots. The staff are wonderful and the amenities great. It is a grand hotel, particularly if you are transfering between train and airport the next day (as it was my case). So I can recommend it for the central location. Can be bit noisy at times, but it’s not too bad. We had a room facing the square and metro station. Sleep here. Eat and drink elsewhere. A bit of context to the bar and restaurant. Bar wasn’t opened or rather there were no staff present. Not very good drinks. Ordered a Negroni, being in Italy you should think that they could make you a proper one, which to my opinion was not the case. A bit pricey on the quality. The restaurant, where to start; service was not really that great. Not everything on the menu was available for either the food or the wine list. Breakfast was ok if you get there early. We got there 8:20 AM and there were almost nothing there. The scramble eggs, supposedly would be there in three minutes. Which was the standard answer, even when asking second time after my initial question 5 minutes before. Dinner was not a great experience. Nothing on the menu looks like anything that they are advertising on the screen in the lounge area. Neither the plating or presentation of the food is associating it with fine dining as they claim it is.

Hotel is beautiful and room is very large and comfortable. We just didn’t like how they ripped us off at the cocktail hour charging us €30 for one beer and one martini that was absolutely ridiculous. We refuse to leave the bartender a tip and he was very angry, and we never went back to the cocktail hour again.

The only positive thing about this hotel was that it was close to the train station and that is about all. The coffee machine was always out in the restaurant and the breakfast line at 8 am was a mile long with no empty tables.

We traveled from Florence by high speed Rail to Naples for a 2 night stay as part of a 2 week tour of Italy. We chose The Starhotels Terminus despite being across the road from the Napoli Centrale Station. Check in was courteous. Due to our early arrival we had to leave our luggage since we were keen to visit Pompeii that afternoon. When we did return our room was ready and it was on the 6th floor (604) and it had a excellent view of Mt Vesuvius at sunset and with triple glazed windows and excellent AC, made for a good nights sleep. Abundant space and and a Iliy Coffee machine was a treat but some real milk would have been nice instead of powder. Breakfast was excellent but of note, if one did not want to eat what was euphemistically called scrambled eggs then one had to pay 6 Euro for fried or other egg preparations. The Coffee made inside is worth asking for since the machine and percolator coffee is mediocre. Over all an excellent base for exploring the south of Italy. It was often mentioned that Naples is dirty and graffiti ridden. It stood up to its reputation: ! but it did add character to the city. We did not eat at the restaurants on Piazza Garibaldi : not over priced but not very Authentic, we read.

Everything about the hotel is perfect! We stayed at the de luxe room with view of Vesuvius and it was so much better than the photos! Great selection of breakfast too. Location is central so it’s busy but you have the convenience of the metro.

Reception very helpful. Nice room on the 5th floor.. Great air con. Only fault was the breakfast. Slow at refilling. Never alot left.. Would i stay again? Definitely yes

We loved our stay here, it is so convenient to the station and ferry terminal. So easy to access using the airport bus too. There are also nice bars and cafes close by. The rooms were so comfortable, with lovely amenities provided. All staff were so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again
