Spotless and nicely decorated room with daily housekeeping. Firm mattress with crisp clean sheets. Fantastic location in high end neighborhood. Every possible luxury retailer is within easy walking distance, from Dolce and Gabbana to Cartier and everything in between. The area felt very safe until late at night. Hotel is on a side street and our room opened onto the street, which is very narrow. Street noise was quiet and never bothered us - we preferred it. Lovely staff. Breakfast buffet in a nice dining room includes scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, pastries, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee made to your liking, and a variety of juices, etc. Lift available to hotel lobby, which is on the 3rd floor. Room includes hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. No in room robes. Front desk is staffed 24 hours and you must use keycard to enter building at night, which we liked for the extra security. A short, easy walk from Spagna metro station. Ideal location. We loved the Hotel Manfredi and highly recommend! Stay there, you will be glad you did!

It was a perfectly placed hotel and everything was excellent except it was hard to find. They need more prominent sign in the front of the hotel. The cab driver was just about ready to give up but I went into a building and was told the hotel was on the 3rd floor. Once in the hotel everything was perfect.

When you ascend to the lobby via a vintage elevator we weren’t sure what to expect. But right away while we waited for the room to be ready the cleanliness was apparent. Our room, #18, was superb. The staff was always courteous and suggested great restaurants. Via Margutta is really beautiful, very quiet and two blocks from the Spanish steps. I booked this after reading Expedia reviews and I am happy to add another good one to the record.

American travelers beware of this hotel, the pictures do not illustrate an accurate description. Expect the following: a super small room, a super small bathroom (felt smaller then the smallest cruise ship bathroom) with a tiny and poorly designed shower, few bath amenities like soap, staff with poor attitudes. Also the hotel is oddly positioned on the 3rd floor, this anticipate an elevator ride (tiny elevator) or dusty steps and special code access needed after 9pm…kinda of a pain. Our experience specifically included an extra fee for not turning in 1 of 2 plastic card keys. And to set this awful experience over the top, either this hotel or Expedia (I’m not sure which yet), out of thin air, cancelled this hotel booking (which I booked 2+ months prior to arrival) just a couple days before our trip…Expedia sent an email about the cancellation with zero/no reasoning why it was cancelled. With only minutes to spare, and in a complete panic, I had to rebook it but at $100 more than what I originally booked it for. Terrible from start to finish. All said the location of the hotel is in the heart of the upscale fashion and restaurant district and close to the Spanish steps. However there seems to be better area options even if you just plan to be out all day/night and just need a room for sleep/shower.

The hotel property is not opulent and our room was a bit small and mostly unimpressive. It’s an old building with character (a bird cage elevator in the middle of the stairwell takes you to the lobby) which houses an old European-style hotel. Once you accept these truths, everything about the experience here is great. The location was perfect for a week in Rome. Plenty of restaurants bars shops and people around, and very close to the Spanish steps and other sites. Coming back at night, through the tiny cobblestone streets, was the perfect way to end the day. Lots of people out in the neighborhood so you feel extremely safe. The energy is great. The staff was remarkable and helpful at every turn, from calling cars/taxis for us, to helpful tips about viewing the city. They set up a private car to pick us up at the airport which was great after a long flight. Breakfast room was wonderful and the people working there were cheerful and attentive. Rome was unseasonably hot the week we were there but our room was freezing cold. Because of the prime location, we could use the hotel for breaks throughout the day. The reasons to stay here are the location and helpful staff. The people there are simply great.

The staff were all nice and helpful. Concierge is open 24/7. The hotel is located near luxury designer stores in the spanish steps area. It is a 5 minute walk from metro. Felt safe walking the area at night. Many dining options around; highly recommend restaurant pizzeria. There is also a grocery store a 2 minute walk from hotel. Only thing is the hotel is a little hard to find but it is located in the corner building you need to enter through green doors and the hotel is located on the third floor, luckily a man was outside and overheard us looking for our hotel and guided us.

The staff where amazing … but the hotel it’s self wasn’t great. The entrance is a little scary looking, including the elevator. The hotel entrance is on the third floor and the rooms and on the second floor which is quite unusual. The rooms are small. The hotel is in a great location but I wouldn’t stay there again.

All I can say is it must be family and friends writing these reviews as this place was terrible!! There is a fake shop front reception, with a door to the right which takes you into a derelict dusty building, with a piece of paper on the wall saying go to the 3rd floor. There is an old fashioned elevator which felt so unsafe. Then, they told us our room key wouldn’t open the door to our floor, so we had to go up to the reception on the 3rd floor everytime we returned to get someone to open the door to our floor. The whole thing was ridiculous. Rooms were tiny and old. Bed and pillows so uncomfortable. Breakfast was so bad we just walked out. We wanted to check out but we’re only there for 2 nights thankfully. Definitely would not recommend!! Gave it one star for the location.

스페인 광장 근처여서 관광지 돌아다니기 편했습니다. 역에서도 가깝고 주위에 맛집이랑 명품점이 참 많아요. 처음에 놀란 건 고풍스러운 낡은 승강기였어요. 손잡이를 당겨서 여닫는 수동이었는데 전 너무 좋았어요. 전 숙소는 엘리베이터가 아예 없이 나선형 계단을 올라가야 했거든요. 직원들은 정말 친절하셨어요. 단점은 밤에 현관문을 닫는다는 점. 물론 벨을 누르면 열어 주시지만요. 또 저는 싱글룸이었는데 정말 방이 너무너무 작았고 침대도 너무너무 작았어요. 대신 방에 냉장고가 있었고 셀카가 잘 나오는 거울과 조명이 있었어요(셀카 엄청 많이 찍음). 아쉬운 건 전기주전자와 커피머신이 없었다는 점이에요. 아침식사는 좀 늦게 시작되는 편이어서(7:30이 조금 지나서였던가?) 일찍부터 관광을 해야 하는 저는 3박 중에서 하루만 먹었어요. 먹을 건 별로 없더라구요;; 아무튼 제가 생각나는대로 장단점을 써 봤어요! 다시 갈 의향 있음! 로마 가시는 분들 모두 좋은 여행 하세요!

Läget var toppen. På en lugn gata ett kvarter från spanska trappan med sitt folkliv. Rummen var små men trevliga. Städning och service i receptionen var också suverän. Frukostbuffén var bra. Som skandinav uppskattade vi att deras americano var stark. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera hotellet om du ska turista i Rom.

Regular client. I love this hotel because it’s in the middle of everything, but you feel like it’s a small village with the street you stay on. Attentive staff, very clean, great breakfast and in the middle of everything. Highly recommended.

I selected this hotel based on reviews and neighborhood. It did not disappoint. It's a great boutique hotel located in a very safe and central part of Rome. It is around the corner from the Spanish Steps, but it is dead quiet in the rooms. I never heard any street noise at all. The rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast was good as well. Hot food options like eggs and bacon always available. The wifi was good strong. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be away from the tourist traps but still able to walk literally everywhere.

The entire staff was so welcoming and extremely helpful with any requests we made.The morning buffet breakfast was delicious with many offerings and delicious cappuccino. Hotel was walking distance to many sites and abundance of restaurants, shopping,cabs, or site seeing buses. The rooms were spacious with amenities welcoming us. Highly recommend staying here!!

An excellent hotel in a very suitable and comparatively calm location. Close to many restaurants and views. Breakfast served was first class, the coffee and service as well. For the time of year we could keep a good temperature in our room by opening the window, for warmer times there is AC. Cleaning was meticulous. The only draw back was the rock hard bed. It dulled our experience a little.

The room was really quirky. It was 3 steps up to the bathroom which was cute but unsafe at night. The air conditioning did not work well. It was much cooler in the hallway than the room.

The location is great. It’s in a great area on a quiet street but the “suites” are actually tiny hotel rooms. The bathroom was extremely small and cramped.

Hotel Manfredi did not disappoint. The hotel was just as promised, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was great! Whatever we needed, from advice for dinner to an early morning taxi, they took care of us. I highly recommend Hotel Manfredi!

Our stay is unforgettable. Me and my family are looking for ways to give a review as all four of us in our two rooms just had a blast. From service to the room and friendliness of the staff. Most specifically Delilah(Dalilah) and the morning coffee lady. We could never forget how they recommended good places to eat. Delilah(Dah-li-lah) was most excellent to share a conversation with. Their love for their city is felt and well respected. We are already planning our next return to rome and specifically to Hotel Manfredi. See you all again! Ciao!

The location is great, walkable to many attractions. However, the hotel looks old, dirt and dingy. I believe I booked superior room and this was da from it. The floor the room was located on has a separate entrance from the reception and feels scary. The hallways look old and dirty and frankly I was scared. If I had not paid quite a bit of non refundable money I would have simply looked for another hotel. That being said the room itself, while dated was clean. Would not recommend this place for the money that paid. The last da there was an issue with the pipe and they moved us to an upgraded suite, which was on another floor that looked much better overall. If the room I had booked was not supposed to be on this new floor then definitely not worth the money. If I was snubbed it’s even worse. In addition, the worst part of experience was the day we checked out. The receptionist said he could not get us a taxi as “there aren’t enough taxis in Rome”. If this is indeed a problem in the city, he should have warned us when we first checked in to book a taxi ahead of time or allow plenty of time to get to our destination. After so much headache I was able to get a cab myself with no assistance from the reception desk whatsoever and barely made it to the tram station in time but this is highly unprofessional, inhospitable and not what one would expect from any level of hotel. Honestly, I generally never leave a bad review unless really bad experience and this truly was.

Wonderful! Rooms immaculate with every amenity, staff over the top with first class service (Darlila and Roberta especially ) breakfast was wonderful with a variety of choices. Location was great we couldn’t be happier with our stay and would highly recommend.

The staff were all nice and helpful. Concierge is open 24/7. The hotel is located near luxury designer stores in the spanish steps area. It is a 5 minute walk from metro. Felt safe walking the area at night. Many dining options around; highly recommend restaurant pizzeria. There is also a grocery store a 2 minute walk from hotel. Only thing is the hotel is a little hard to find but it is located in the corner building you need to enter through green doors and the hotel is located on the third floor, luckily a man was outside and overheard us looking for our hotel and guided us.

Francisco is awesome! Very friendly staff from the front desk to the breakfast staff. Location was the best. Within walking distance to most attractions and cafes. Shopping all around the hotel. Just an amazing stay for 3 nights. Will definitely stay here again next trip to Rome.

The servers at breakfast we so kind, what a way to start your day. The food was exceptional. The front desk was so helpful, answering questions and helping with getting taxis. I will definitely stay there again, what a beautiful place to enjoy Rome!!!!

Every possible luxury retailer is within easy walking distance, from Dolce and Gabbana to Cartier and everything in between. The area felt very safe until late at night. Hotel is on a side street and our room opened onto the street, which is very narrow. Street noise was quiet and never bothered us - we preferred it. Lovely staff. Breakfast buffet in a nice dining room includes scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, pastries, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee made to your liking, and a variety of juices, etc. Lift available to hotel lobby, which is on the 3rd floor. Room includes hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. No in room robes. Front desk is staffed 24 hours and you must use keycard to enter building at night, which we liked for the extra security. A short, easy walk from Spagna metro station. Ideal location. We loved the Hotel Manfredi and highly recommend! Stay there, you will be glad you did!

This hotel is in a perfect location for a Roman holiday. Blocks away from Spanish Steps, metro, and taxi stand. While close to everything, it is on a quiet street of art galleries. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

I selected this hotel based on reviews and neighborhood. It did not disappoint. It's a great boutique hotel located in a very safe and central part of Rome. It is around the corner from the Spanish Steps, but it is dead quiet in the rooms. I never heard any street noise at all. The rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast was good as well. Hot food options like eggs and bacon always available. The wifi was good strong. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be away from the tourist traps but still able to walk literally everywhere.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Manfredi Suites. It's on the third floor of a historic building. The location is incredible. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and elegant. The staff was extremely cordial and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and varied (eggs, bacon, pastries, bread, cheese, fruit, homemade yogurt and more). I hope to return some day!

Charming Hotel located on one of the prettiest streets in Rome, and walk-able to stellar world class shopping, as well as the Spanish Steps. Our party of 8 stayed in four of the rooms of Hotel Manfredi. Each room was well appointed, clean, cool and extremely comfortable and elegantly designed. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, topped off with delicious Cappuccino! The staff was all very helpful, attentive and kind. We loved our stay and would surely stay here again, and recommend the hotel to our family and friends. Thank you Hotel Manfredi for an amazing stay!

All I can say is it must be family and friends writing these reviews as this place was terrible!! There is a fake shop front reception, with a door to the right which takes you into a derelict dusty building, with a piece of paper on the wall saying go to the 3rd floor. There is an old fashioned elevator which felt so unsafe. Then, they told us our room key wouldn’t open the door to our floor, so we had to go up to the reception on the 3rd floor everytime we returned to get someone to open the door to our floor. The whole thing was ridiculous. Rooms were tiny and old. Bed and pillows so uncomfortable. Breakfast was so bad we just walked out. We wanted to check out but we’re only there for 2 nights thankfully. Definitely would not recommend!! Gave it one star for the location.

This hotel is in a great location for walking to restaurants, shopping, and some historical sites. The lobby was a surprise. It is located on the third floor of a building where the first floor entrance is plain concrete and open to the street. A very old, small elevator can be used to reach the hotel lobby. Or, if you would rather carry your suitcases, stairs are available also. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated, but very small. My room had a view of a small open space surrounded by three other buildings, so what I saw was everyone else's windows. The breakfast is very nice. There are a variety of choices, and the servers are very helpful and pleasant. I really liked their homemade yogurt and fresh fruit.

This was a beautiful quaint hotel. Rooms were nice size, clean and great rain shower. Hotel is close to spanish steps and easy walking distance to trevi fountain. Very nice location to shopping and restaurants
