Our room was excellent. Cons are no onsite breakfast. You get a voucher for breakfast at a restaurant 200 metres away. No elevator access from ground floor. You need to walk up a series of stairs to get to reception and the elevator. Taxis cannot drive you to the hotel. They drop you off nearby but you need to take your own luggage across a busy piazza to the hotel.

Nada acessível para pessoas com qualquer debilidade física. Para se chegar ao elevador precisa subir 1 andar de escada. E na nossa estadia o elevador estava quebrado, e estávamos no quinto andar, e somente depois nos oferecem um quarto em andar mais baixo. Outro inconveniente é o café da manhã ser em um restaurante fora do hotel, com atendentes rudes lá e nenhuma variedade no café. Serviram o mesmo limitado cardápio todos os dias!

Location eccellente, in pieno centro e a due passi dalle fermate di autobus per ovunque. Personale disponibilissimo e gentile. Colazione ottima, consumata presso locale a pochi metri, facendo quattro passi gradevoli la mattina. Unica pecca l'ascensore disponibile solo dal primo piano, ma ci si abitua subito e comunque i bagagli vengono portati dal personale dell'albergo.

We had a great stay at Hotel Abruzzi. Our hotel room had a stoned throw away from the Pantheon. Breakfast was delicious and included at a nearby restaurant. Highly recommend staying here. The only one downside is that their elevator starts on the first floor, not the main floor.

The hotel is unique, with some pluses and minuses. Our rooms were clean and well appointed, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect - this is the 3rd time I've stayed in the Panetheon area. However, we were not prepared for the layout. Our rooms were in a separate building from the lobby. There was a very small elevator, but you had to walk up a set of stairs to get to that elevator. This wasn't a deal breaker for our group, but unanticipated. If I had been travelling with my mother, or if someone had a knee problem or arthritis, it would have been problematic. The hotel provided breakfast, but not in house. Every morning we received coupon for breakfast at a restaurant around the corner. The breakfast provided was lovely - it's just inconvenient particularly when the weather is bad. The hotel itself doesnt have a good gathering spot. They have a small lounge with a computer, but no common space where people travelling together can gather. They gave each room a very nice gift of sparkling wine, but to enjoy the wine together, we had gather in each others rooms. These are old buildings, and they've made interesting use out of the space available. Would I stay there again - yes, but it may not be for everyone.

The staff are very polite and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Shower is good. The amenity of the room is enough. However my room is located in another building and no lift. And the key set is quite huge and heavy. Overall the hotel is good compare with its price. Breakfast is good.

Nice hotel, NO elevator for customers. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room and common areas were very clean. View was amazing out the windows. Even tho we were on the corner of a busy square the hotel has high quality windows to block out the noise. No subway stops near hotel.

Even though the official check-in time was 2 PM, I was kindly allowed to check in at 11 AM with no extra charge, which I truly appreciated. The location was excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Despite being right in the Pantheon area, the room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a very relaxing stay. The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and attentive. They even prepared a breakfast bag for us when they learned we had an early morning departure. Overall, great service, perfect location, and excellent hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!

The location is convenient and we had a nice view of the pantheon from your room. However we found hairs in our sheets two nights in a row. Even after asking for the bedding and linens to be changed. We then had to change our sheets ourselves. There were also old stains on some of the towels.

Eigentlich das perfekte Hotel. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sensationelle Lage! Sehr sauber, doch leider stinkt Abfluss in der Dusche unerträglich. Auch die Bitte dies zu ändern führt zu nichts. Das trübt das sonst hervorragende Erlebnis leider. Wir hatten das Zimmer 406 und wissen natürlich nicht, ob das auch andere Zimmer betrifft.

Location 5/5 Staff and service 5/5 Cleaness of our room 2/5. We found our pillow cover dirty and hairs on our bed sheet. We also killed one bed bug on our pillow cover. We slept with lights on and still my wife suffered from three bites. We understand bed bugs are hard to control, however, bed cover should be replaced with clean sheets. The staff was quite accommodating of our situation.

Travelers from USA - we got this hotel last minute. The room wasn’t really clean, the bathroom, especially. When you used the sink, the bidet made slushing noises (idk if that’s the right terminology) but there must’ve been some issue with the plumbing. To top it off, our last night, we came back from dinner to a leak from the ceiling :/ May have been the A/C, but we’ll never know. One of our passports got wet but fortunately not that bad - could’ve been worse. The staff was very nice and attentive though, excellent customer service. When we told them about the leak they said they would “see what they could do” and then we’re going to offer free transportation to the airport, but we had already booked it. Very good location though, which is why we chose this hotel but the hotel did not look like the pictures online.

Great view overlooking Pantheon square. The French doors seal tightly and very sound proof. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly cleaned everyday. A truly fun experience.

We stayed on our last 2 days in Rome and wow the location was just amazing, we stayed in room 402 and our view was spectaluir. We watched the Pantheon and people watched to cool down. The staff was amazing and love this hotel. I would stay here on our next visit to Rome. The room was a good size and well appointed. We are so happy that we book and stayed at this hotel and on our next visit to Rome we will be returning. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Abruzzi.

Room had the Pantheon view: fountain waters shone in room and we could hear people celebrating outside ( which we enjoyed ). Windows close and sealed room from outside noise , however , no air circulation. Walk to Spanish steps, Colosseum, and Trevi Fountain. Several highly recommended restaurants nearby. I recently stayed at Hotel Abruzzi, and overall it was a pleasant experience. Pros: • The view of the Pantheon from our room was beautiful it really made the stay special. • Each room comes with a complimentary cellphone from the hotel, which was extremely useful throughout the trip for navigation and communication. • Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean and well-maintained every day. • The hotel’s location is great right in the middle of major attractions, with convenient taxi pickup/drop-off right outside the door. Cons: • The room itself was very tight, which made it feel a bit cramped. • Upon arrival, we had issues with the electricity and the curtains (which were operated electrically). Unfortunately, I couldn’t use the curtains for the remainder of my stay. Which was quite annoying. • The included breakfast was below average and had limited options, especially if you don’t eat pork. I picked the hotel because of the included breakfast but felt let down by this. It’s operated by a nearby restaurant you are given a paper where you check off from a list of preset items.

Absolutely wonderful experience, the room was small but the view was breathtaking. The hospitality, location and comfort was great. I was very surprised by the unique breakfast offered. The staff was Top notch, professional and very attentive. This overall experience made our first visit to Rome a very memorable experience. The staff was incredible. Valentina was able to assist us with a lot of phenomenal recommendations for tours and city landmarks. Highly recommended.

Room was fantastic, with such an exceptional view! Location was fantastic and the windows were so good at insulating us from the sound in the plaza below. So wonderful! We stayed in the secondary building and the room didn't share walls with anyone. What a treat. The elevator was slow, but manageable. Both doors (building entrance and room entrance) are keypad only. Wonderful stay overall!

Awesome hotel! Location – Right across from the Pantheon – very central and walkable to all touristy destinations (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill). Transportation – Taxi stand is right across from the hotel, next to the Pantheon – about a 15-minute taxi/Uber ride (~15 Euro) to Roma Termini. Shopping and dining options – Plenty!! And with a Pantheon view!! Staff & service – Very, very friendly and helpful staff! They went out of their way to assist us with all our questions and requests. They offer an outstanding (and free) breakfast. When the front desk staff learned that we wouldn't be able to have breakfast the next day due to an early day trip, they had boxed breakfasts delivered to our room the night before – we didn’t even know that was an option! The cleaning lady did an amazing job – every day! Another unique and helpful feature – The hotel room came with a cell phone that we could use for local directions (since we walked everywhere), which helped us save our phone’s battery (for photos, of course!). You can also use the phone for local calls and such (though we didn’t). I highly recommend this hotel – staying here made our Rome trip even more memorable!

The staff at this hotel went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. From setting up transportation, to getting us "to go" breakfasts when we wouldn't be around for the included breakfast. Can't beat the location, and the view from the room was great. We loved the hospitality of the people who run Hotel Abruzzi. We were graciously welcomed when we arrived for check-in with a bottle of sparkling wine and a helpful concierge who walked us to our room. We were surprised at how quiet the room was considering how busy the area is where it is located. Our room was comfortable and clean with terrific air conditioning to help us sleep well in the hot summer. The front desk staff were so helpful suggesting restaurants in the area. They offered to pack a breakfast for us because we had an early flight and they called a taxi for us to get to the airport right on time. I cannot emphasize how gracious and professional the team is here. Strongly recommend this hotel and sending many thanks to all who made or brief stay so wonderful.

Stayed for two nights. First morning, leak coming up through floor in bathroom. Completed flooded. Reported it to front desk. Couldn't shower, flush toilet or even brush our teeth. Had to go on our city tours dirty. Said they'd fix it. Came back to hotel at night. It was not fixed. Mgr came to room and said he didn't have another room for us in that hotel but we could use room in his hotel in other building. It was the same hotel. He said, no, we rented an apt that was not in his hotel. Hotel Abruzzi gives you two options when booking, view or no view. We chose no view. What is he talking about? We had to move our 4 luggages down 2 flights of stairs and move to other building up 3 flights of stairs. This was after midnight. No help. He then proceeded to tell us that he had other guests that were needing the new room first thing in the morning. No concern for us at all, just his incoming guests. We were a problem. He should have refunded our money. Room was unusable all day. Never again.

This hotel was right in the heart of everything and there was a taxi stand not far away. The horse carriages also stage there so that was an enjoyable tour. Our room was clean and quiet. The restaurant for our included breakfast was very close. There was also a dinner restaurant right outside. The staff was very helpful. They kept our bags safe when we arrived before check in time. By the time we got back to check in, they had already delivered them to our room. They were always available for questions and pointed us in the right direction when we needed something. There were also money exchange places right near the front. Would recommend only getting enough euros at the airport to pay the taxi as they don't take credit cards. The exchange rate is much better near the hotel.

Amazing location, easy to just walk out and start exploring. Lines are constant at the Pantheon and the square is always busy - pros of this is the convenience and ambience, cons are the noise that goes on until 11pm or later. However, the windows are amazingly soundproof!

The room was updated and both windows overlooked the Pantheon. I was worried it would be loud due to the area being so busy all hours of the day and night, but once we closed the windows, it was so quiet! Also, they give you a voucher for breakfast every day during your stay, at a restaurant a few doors down. The food and service is A+! We would highly recommend staying here!!

This hotel is a room with a view, and nothing more. The facility and staff are transactional only. This was part of a much larger trip for us where we stayed in 9 different hotels and I’m sorry to say this ranked as our least favourite. Really, the only thing going for it IMO is the location. The included breakfast is sadly lacking. We were served watered down espresso by an indifferent waiter and we didn’t return the next day.

Das Hotel liegt zentral - sehr kleiner Empfang, völlig ausreichend- wir waren schon oft in Hotels, aber das erste Mal eine Flasche Prosecco auf das Zimmer zum Empfang- Das Zlmmer sauber und vollkommene ausreichend. Das Frühstück 75 Meter in einem Restaurant- perfekt ! Super freundlich und ein perfekter Kaffee…Blick auf das Pantheon- für uns ein zweites Mal wahrscheinlich - wir waren das 12.
