The location of this hotel, on the Via Magutta is outstanding, a lovely street lined with art galleries and interesting shops. The Spanish Steps are just a few minutes walk as is the Piazza Popolo. We walked everywhere, to the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and beyond. The rooms are simple but the bathrooms have been redone.Very comfortable bed and very clean. Air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was very good (mostly continental with a couple of hot options )with great coffee and friendly staff. There is a bar available too. The front desk staff were outstanding and make this small hotel special. Marco was especially helpful with arranging transportation (coming from our cruise ship and leaving to the airport), helping our friends get a tour of the Vatican on a local website, and got us restaurant reservations to some excellent tradtional Roman restaurants. Masur was also helpful

Our room was very clean, water pressure in the shower was good and water temperature easy to adjust, bed very comfortable. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Love the location, on a side street within easy walking distance to metro station, shops and dining. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Forte was the perfect place to begin our Italy adventure. This charming boutique hotel is in an unbeatable location, just a short walk from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and many of Rome's most iconic sights. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast far exceeded our expectations, with a wonderful selection each morning, and the cappuccinos were absolutely outstanding—some of the best we had during our stay in Italy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Forte to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming hotel in the heart of Rome.
