Excellent location close enough to walk to main tourist sites but with parking (huge plus!) Extremely helpful reception desk and on the right side of city for Rome Fiumicino airport. Very clean, friendly and has a bar for a cool drink after a long walk

Ankom til hotellet, hvor der ville være aircondition, men nej først til 1/5. 3 dage efter var der pludselig tændt for den. Et meget nedslidt hotel. Den sidste aften, hvor vi tog elevatoren, sad den fast. Vi ringede efter hjælp med det samme kl22. Han sagde flere gange det ikke tog så lang tid, men vi kom først ud af elevatoren kl 2245. Ikke nogen anbefaling til hotellet.

Hotel datato, con moquette nelle camere e nei corridoi, carta da parati sui muri, la pulizia è sicuramente migliorabile, parcheggiò interno non prenotabile al costo di 10 € per notte, buona colazione con dolce e salato. La stazione metro più vicina è a un chilometro.

Le valutazioni non possono che essere positive: la struttura è molto bella ed il personale davvero disponibile e gentile (sono venuti incontro ad ogni nostra esigenza, ci hanno consigliato come muoverci per Roma ed in che locali mangiare). Camera molto comoda, rifinita e spaziosa. Pulizia accurata e kit da bagno molto fornito. Buona colazione. Al piano terra è presente il bar. Sembrano anche poche le 3 stelle. È stato davvero un piacere soggiarnare da voi! Consigliatissimo

Hotel is in desperate need of cleaning and renovation. General communal areas were poor; carpets stained and with chewing gum marks, wallpaper pealing in several areas, panelling in dining area in need of repair, lifts were vandalised with graffiti and obscenities scratched into them and there was a general damp smell about the place. Room size was good, but bathroom had limescale and mould. The hotel is in a good location and offered so much, but it’s in need of serious love.

The rooms are not clean enough. Definitely not as described in the photos. Much smaller with broken equipment. Our shower door wasn’t closing and there was mold everywhere inside the shower. The towels don’t smell fresh, and not regularly changed unless you ask. And when you ask, you first get a rejection and then after some discussion they agree to change. Terrible breakfast too. This place is way too expensive for what you get.

We just stayed at Hotel Cilicia and thought I would share my experience for any future travellers going there the lobby of the hotel nice and clean and overall the room it self was clean however if you request to have your room cleaned they don’t do a great job other than making your bed and giving you fresh towels. We had a junior suite which was great for our family as there is two separate rooms with a door so it was great that my daughter had her own private room, the room is very dated and definitely needs some work we did have issues with our toilet not flushing and I read a lot of reviews that people said the shower was small but in our room we did not have a small shower in fact the bathroom was very spacious, overall if you have 3 people staying in the junior suite it was a perfect size, beds very uncomfortable, service from the staff many are very rude unless you go there and can speak the language good luck they don’t speak very well English we had breakfast included which we ate there pretty much every morning simple nothing to fancy but served its purpose, location wasn’t bad if your good with walking everywhere it’s not bad and we felt safe walking in the area and if you need to take a taxi it’s about $15 euros (depending on the taxi and the route they take) to get the to coliseum and about $50-60 euros to the airport. In my opinion I would not stay here again and I would not recommend anyone to stay here

Vi valde hotellet eftersom det står att hotellet är nära stan och de man vill se, ”promenadavstånd” tyvärr är det 45-1 timmes promenad till sevärderigheterna och taxi var vi tvungna att ta för det mesta. Duscharna var tyvärr smutsiga

We booked 4 rooms. All the rooms the showers were smaller than in a caravan and they all flooded. It seems the drainage was blocked. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. 3 nights there and didn’t get much sleep. The carpets were dirty and one of the rooms the toilet blocked. The staff are very unfriendly and very difficult to communicate with. No bar service. Would not recommend this to anyone. Will request a refund from Expedia.

A parte la gentilezza dello staff, tutto il resto è da evitare. Hotel vetusto e tenuto malissimo. Il bagno era pieno di capelli credo del cliente precedente, zone di moquette della stanza rotte coperte con zerbini, televisore non funzionante (credo mancasse decoder), doccia sporca e intasata. Il mattino successivo sono letteralmente fuggito alle 5.30 senza nemmeno consumare la colazione. Hotel da evitare assolutamente, considerato anche il prezzo non proprio economico.

Friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is in need of a good cleaning especially the main lobby/ kitchen area. Beds are uncomfortable, and the rooms facing the main road are very noisy, due to the busy road. Not an ideal location for anyone looking to get to the busy neighbourhoods in Roma.

Quaint old hotel. Everything about the room is small, but I found it cozy for the 2 nights we were there. There is a slight smell in the bathroom that could have been cleaned better.

Room was really small, outdated and basic. Javing said that, you get what you pay for. Worst thing was shower; it was tiny. I barely fitted in to shower myself. Room was directly behind reception so it was loud at night when staff/guest were talking.

Bathroom was a wet room - only problem that when you took a shower it leaked through into the bedroom ( bathroom door and skirting were all rotten as a result. Continental Breakfast was good - great selection. Location was ok for seeing the city - about 10 mins to nearest metro station.

Nice Hotel for the right price. Good breakfast, comfortable spacious rooms. A bit run down in some areas ,but nothing really that affects the experience.

Le sourire et l’accueil des touristes sont des options que l’hôtel Cilicia n’a pas contractées. Réceptionnistes désagréables. Vraiment l’impression de les embêter. Pas un mot chaleureux ou ne serait-ce que bienveillant. Bref, à éviter

In dire need of maintenance work (broken shower door, ill fitting shower curtain blocking the plughole, peeling wallpaper in the bedroom), but great breakfast, lovely staff and ever so helpful.

An otherwise excellent stay, tarnished by the rudeness of a female front desk receptionist. Their breakfast is excellent, & a great deal for just 10 euros.

The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everyone come and go at all hours. There was a loud, horrible dog barking all night for two nights in a row which narrowed my sleep when already jet lagged. The provided breakfast was subpar and not worth $10 a day. This place is not close to anything!! Minimum 30 mins walk for anything. Would not recommend

O hotel em si é bom, tranquilo, estava limpo e o café da manhã agradável. Box do banheiro muito pequeno. Estação de metrô fica próxima, conseguimos ir andando tranquilamente e nos locomover bem.

Hôtel propre et pratique à 15/20 minutes en transport du centre touristique de Rome. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres qui étaient côté jardin de l'établissement. Aucun bruit de voitures dans les chambres la nuit malgré la 4 voies. Bon petit déjeuner.

Love the staff at the reception who were so helpful and close to Colosseum

Great location of the hotel, we walked to Colosseum, few shops and restaurants around. Hotel was clean but very tired looking, which reflected the price. Front desk staff was pleasant, but I find restaurant staff not welcoming at all.

Me ha gustado mucho la propiedad, a pesar de que no esta tan cerca del centro me fue muy facil moverme a pie, solo me hize 20 minutos al coliseo y 30 a la estación Termini

Made to pay tourists taxes THE MINUTE WE ARRIVED and ended up leaving 45 mins later as was too far away. The distance on the website WAS NOT what it was in real time. City centre over 35 min walk or 11mins by taxi. Not good enough. Would really appreciate the taxes back considering we didn’t stay there.

Personale gentile e alla mano, ti senti quasi a casa tua. Colazione a buffet la mattina abbondante e di qualità. Unica nota meno positiva la moquette per terra che rende più difficile la pulizia e lascia un pochino di sporcizia, nulla di drammatico però. Grazie Hotel cilicia per averci fatto passare una vacanza piacevole
