Our stay at Trilussa Palace Spa & Wellness was unforgettable. What we loved most was the daily access to the private thermal spa — it can be reserved for an hour at a time, and you have the entire space to yourself. The spa includes a Turkish sauna, dry sauna, hot and cold inductions, and a relaxing hot tub. Water, robes, and showers are provided, making it the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring Rome. I spent every night there, and it was pure bliss. When tragedy struck and my mother suffered a heart attack, the staff went above and beyond to help in every way possible. I especially want to thank the kind woman with dark hair at the front desk — I wish I remembered her name, but her compassion and care meant the world to me. Being alone in a new city and not speaking the language was overwhelming, but she made me feel safe and supported. The rooftop restaurant was spectacular, offering delicious food and a stunning view of Trastevere — truly one of the best in Rome. The bus stop just outside the hotel made it easy to get around the city and travel to the hospital. Breakfast was also excellent, featuring both American and Italian options. Trilussa Palace is small, quiet, and full of heart. It’s a peaceful oasis in the middle of Rome — perfect for those seeking relaxation and a personal touch. I am forever grateful for my experience there.

The property has a rooftop bar where you can enjoy a nice dinner at a reasonable price. You don't need to look anywhere else. So many restaurants to choose from around the area. I am the one who likes simple things. Except, since it's an open area, even every where else, smoking is allowed. Train access is about 300 meters away. Transportation is very accessible. The one I didn't like was that you have to pay to access The spa and pool. Other than that, all is good.

My wife and only came for 1 night but everything from check in until check out was great. The hotel was clean, everyone spoke English, the room was larger than most Italian hotels and they have a nice spa. They do have on-site parking for a fee.

The hotel is situated out of Rome, so you have to take taxis or the tram to get into the centre. Also, there are very limited places to eat in and around the hotel. The hotel bar doesn't open until 5.30 pm, so you are unable to get a drink to sit and relax at the hotel. It would have been nice if the spa was included in the stay and not an additional cost.

Lovely hotel and the front desk staff was excellent and went out of their way to print our baggage tags for cruise. Ate at the rooftop dining area 3 nights, the view was perfect and food delicious but there was not enough staff - one person for the entire rooftop, plus he was the bartender. The service continued to decline and we asked for a after dinner drink, after spending a lot of money there and a lengthy dinner because of the long wait time and we were told that he was closing the bar because he had no help and didn't have time to make drinks plus wait tables, so we left.

It was ok. We booked this hotel because it had a spa, my wife has a spinal problem and usually swims everyday, nowhere does it say that it costs 98 euros per hour. Also thdcroif terrace dose not open until 17:30 so there is no outside space until then

We stayed the hotel for five nights. I can advice without a hesitation. The junior family room was suitable and extremely comfortable for three of us. It was cleaned everyday. If you’re traveling by car as we dld, this hotel is one of the best for some reason. It offers a paid garage (25-30 euros per day) or you can find a parking (space free but competitive ) in front of the hotel. We used 2 days the offered garage and for 3 days the parking space ;) and the hotel is not far away from the fancy Trastevere and city center but it is outside of the confusing ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). The breakfast is fine, hotel personnel is friendly. All over it is an excellent place to stay.

First of all, I feel bad leaving this review I don’t like leaving anything except 5 star reviews, but I can’t :( There’s nothing particularly “wrong” with the hotel itself, it serves its purpose, the staff were sweet, the check in and out were easy, and it is located on the fringes of Trastevere. The challenge I had was specifically with room 418 which overwhelmingly (no exaggeration) smells of mould and mildew. I wasn’t able to change rooms because the staff which was very polite and helpful said this was the only room available in it’s class and I wasn’t to keen about n upgrading to a suite. If you have allergies to mould this could be a challenge. I can’t stress how strong the smell was. The bathroom is nicely renovated but as per other reviews, there’s simply no way to keep the water in the shower and not on the bathroom floor. The grading goes the wrong direction. I wouldn’t stay here again, I hate to say it. Although I paid for 3 nights I found other accommodations for 2 nights. Sorry :(

Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Also, when needing essentials, like TP, they responded very promptly. Very easy to get public transit from hotel to central Rome and back. The area at night was nice and quiet and a good break from the busyness of central Rome. Room was very clean.

Extremely friendly staff. They checked us in early me made us feel comfortable. It is located walking distance to everything. Be prepared to walk. Parking is available for a fee and it is pretty tight, so make use you have a small car. It does get loud outside, if you are facing the Main Street.

Rooms need re modelling. Old and tired and a bit knocked around. Good air conditioning. Although very clean and staff very helpful. Staff provided good map and transport information and ordering taxis. Easily catch the bus into Roma central or colosseum outside the front door. Trastevere eating area is a good 2km walk away which is a little far at the end of a long day sight seeing. A couple of cafes for breakfast and coffee across the road or within 10 minute walk. Roof top view is only of apartment buildings. Didn’t eat at hotel so cannot comment.

Stefano created us and was so warm and welcoming. We felt at home immediately! Everything in the room was very comfortable. The pillows and the bed were perfect. Even though we were facing the street it was quiet. The bathroom was big enough and nicely appointed. The shower was interesting and once I figured it out was quite nice. We stayed the last week of August at Trilussa Palace. The hotel service and staff was second to none. Our room was clean, quiet and airy. The 8th Floor Restaurant was intimate, charming and the food was unbelievable. This location is great as there are many cafe's, restaurants, convenient stores and pharmacies all on the same street. Tons of options for transportation, but you are literally walking distance from the Pantheon and Spanish Steps. We fell in love with Trastevere, and this hotel.

Visited for four nights with my 14-year old son. Professional and friendly staff, clean facilities, choice between different pillows from a menu (!), Air condition with a remote. Nice restaurant on the rooftop. Not to mention the «all you can eat» sushi restaurant 30 m down the street, became my sons favorite. When i struggled with a vending machine down the street, one of the staff, with a great Poirot moustache, arranged to meet me after he got off work at 22.30 and followed me and fixed it on his free time. Bravo! We didnt have time to try the spa, but im sure that would have been very nice as well. Most tourist sites in Rome available within a 10-11 euro taxi ride, if you dont prefer walking.

The property was clean. The rooftop restaurant was quaint and cozy. Transportation is directly across the street that takes you easily to major tourist areas like the Colosseum, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, etc. staff was super friendly and attentive, and the property felt safe due to a 24 hour Front Desk and then locking the doors late in the evening to be sure. The property itself is nice and the hotel was clean. There is Japanese restaurant within couple steps of the hotel and they serve really really good food. There is a tram running from right outside the hotel which makes the commute extremely feasible but this hotel itself looks like to be in a shady area.

Hotel was close to the train station and also the tram was right across the street to take you to the Colosseum or into Rome towards the Vatican. Walk from Vatican was approx. 30 min walk from the tram drop off. (could take a bus) Front desk was very helpful. Disappointed that the roof top bar/restaurant was still closed for the season as I thought it was open in May. Restaurant attached to lobby was very good food and service. Nice you could also eat outside in the front and even for breakfast there was a small outdoor patio. Room was large enough for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and has a small balcony. Bed was firm but comfortable. Room was also cleaned daily. Cab to the Airport was $60 euros. If to visit again I think we would stay closer to Rome central area.
