Stayed three nights. Many things at resort and Girdwood (town) were not yet open. The tram to top of mountain was closed as were many restaurants. The front desk supervisor, Hannah Antonucci, was extremely helpful in recommending area things to do and short day trips. Don't miss the surfers riding the Bore tide on Turnagain arm. Recommend start north of Girdwood (Bird point) and follow tide toward Girdwood such as MP 94.5. Tide runs about 15 mph so easy to get ahead of it. Make sure to bring bathing suit for Nordic spa. The Chair 5 restaurant is great and now offers reasonable breakfasts (still Alaska pricing).

Alyeska was a beautiful home away from home for an extended weekend. We loved the beautiful views of the mountain and tram right outside our hotel window. While we only got a chance to try 2 of the 5 restaurants, we were very happy with the service and food provided at both. Room service was quick and delicious. The staff was all pleasant and kind. Maid service impeccable, and zero complaints. The resort was authentic and so gorgeous. We’re very happy with our stay, and will definitely be back!
