Beautiful property with amenities which they are happy to charge you an extra $30. per day for the use of the pool, gym and beautiful grounds. I felt that was an unacceptable up charge.

A great resort with plenty to do! Great golf, pool, tennis, pickle ball, and an amazing spa. It is about 15 minutes if you want to head out for shopping or dinner. Staff was attentive and kind throughout our entire stay.

Property is fine. Showing its age a little, but in good condition. We wanted to use a hot tub after golf, but were disappointed with the functionality and usability of both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The outdoor was too cold and we had to ask hotel staff twice to make the water-churning mechanism function. Then we tried the indoor hot tub, but something inthe water---maybe way too much chlorine?--- burned our eyes. We stayed in the indoor hot tub less than 3 minutes because of that. Really not usable.

Booked the resort with intent to play the golf course a few weeks in advance and then tight restrictions to book a tee time prevented me from actually being able to play..and Im a trail card member and still couldnt get on the course...so took the weekend to come there and play golf and no golf...nice hotel tho

We visit Auburn a few time per year and always stay at Opelika Marriott Resort, it has become our home away from home. Staff is always extremely friendly always willing to go out of their way to help. The grounds are always immaculate. The only thing we feel could use improvement is the food menu variety and food temperature

This trip to this property was difficult in several ways. Our room was not cleaned consistently and once they switched the towels but didn’t make the beds. The food was not great and the service was extremely slow for how many people there are working. Wish the food was better but they know they have people over a barrel, there’s nothing else nearby. I don’t mind it costing a lot if it is decent. My daughter got 2 insanely overcooked burgers. I got a 28 steak with a salad and it was tiny and didnt taste good and was not cooked to my requested temp. Pools are awesome and that’s our favorite part always. But the worst part was the hotel allowing the Oaks group to play loud music directly below the room where my 9 year old couldn’t sleep till after 11pm without giving us guests in that wing any heads up that this would be happening.

Not much for $300/nite. Could not get in earlier than 4pm, had to leave by 11:00. Rooms pretty sparse, no sofa, not much scenery to look at. Not a golfer so it wasn't worth $300 /nite

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was pricey at $25/per. Room doors were in rough shape and significant gap at bottom of room door in 133, leaving a good amount of light coming in at night from parking lot. Beds were disappointing from a comfort standpoint. Property in general looked amazing.

The property was fine and appears well-maintained. The management is terrible. I was there for a medical conference that was actually held there in the ball room. On the last day, our conference was not ending until 12 noon but check out was at 11. My husband had to gather things and go sit in the lobby for an hour with all of our bags because the manager refused to let us have a late checkout- I only asked for an hour. He stated that they were going to have a lot of guests arriving and they needed the rooms (this was on a Sunday so I highly doubt that). He also lied that he was giving me the room rate for the conference which in reality, he did not. We won't be back and it's all because of this manager.

Traveled for the LSU vs Auburn women’s basketball game. The accommodations were outstanding and the grounds were beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Sure to stay again when we are back in Auburn.

This place is by far the nicest hotel in the area and of course they charge accordingly. That being said, the golf course is AMAZING, the pool is very nice and all the amenities were what you would expect. Where I think this hotel falls short is two areas, the fine dining restaurant and the spa. The main fine dining restaurant is located downstairs on the first floor across from the sports bar, the food is very sub par. Steak was tasteless, mashed potatoes seemed like they came out of a bag and were microwaved, and the brussel sprouts were just mushy and gross. I've had better salads from chic filet, the cheddar rolls had no flavor and my sons pork chop was overcooked and dry. Basically everything was terrible and the manager's idea was to give me a 15% discount when there isn't one item that was edible. Spa was incredibly nice and the only complaint i had was the masseuse wore some type of gloves and wasn't very good.

Even if you’re not a golfer, there’s a lot to do at this resort. The games were a huge hit with the kids. Love the fire pits. The food was good. Overall a great stay.

Excellent property and extremely kind staff, as always. I would love to see a dart board in the game room. Live entertainment is always great, especially Mark. We have stayed here several times over the past couple years and will continue to, but i am sorry, the food and beverage areas continue to under impress. The options are very limited and the quality is rarely excellent. I was confused when my appetizer arrived on something that looked like a hospital tray with a plastic cover. The splash bar seems to always be understaffed during peak times resulting in much longer wait times for drinks. That being said, Ricardo and Drew were excellent and beyond helpful.
