Bathrooms on main level out of service, vending machines removed from upper floors, ice machines in bad shape. For breakfast, at least there were waffles, everything else was limited choice and not worth eating - hard biscuits and runny gravy. Kids saw a large beetle in room.

We stayed 4 yrs ago and the property has gone way down. Was not clean, only cold water in shower, vending machines empty, ice machine broken. Sadly we will not stay again.

Well, the pool was advertised but unusable. It had a thick layer of algae on the bottom and the water was hazy and green for the duration of my stay. The breakfast was the basic hotel food of heat up sausage, powdered eggs, and glue gravy. This hotel obviously caters to mostly construction workers. The gym was out of order and there is no on-site laundry. For the most part it was quiet and comfortable, but I would not recommend for family travelers.

The hotel was in the process of renovating but it was still hosting guests-“ excuse the inconvenience” -they should have shut it down! Covered pallets of new materials and supplies were everywhere. The “dining room” was all in disarray with chairs on tables and incomplete selections. The room definitely needed updating. Management was very slim-almost a one man show. The one bright spot was the very comfortable bed. Absolutely not worth the price we paid. There was even a donation jar on the registration desk for the cat food to support the street cats that hung outside the entrance (there was a paper plate with some animal food by the door!)I kid you not, that seemed over the top! We paid non-refundable in advance so we were stuck.

was under construction, main lobby was dirty and the front desk people were curt. No hot water in the room for showers. Luke warm. Breakfast was a lot to be desired. Spare amenities for the breakfast. The room we stayed in was nice but I won't go back to that facility. We stayed in another hotel like this in Fort Worth and it was awesome. We thought this would be the same. It wasn't.

Nice people, they are upgrading things . Pool needs some attention. Large room and refrigerator. I would stay here again.

Tub had stains and a roach

Room not clean. Towels dirty - had makeup on them. Bath mat covered in blood - both sides. Pillows had marks (makeup?) on them and mirrors were greasy. Otherwise the room was ok! Good location - near lots of places to eat .

Slow service. Dirty bathroom. Roaches. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We left immediately.

This hotel needed a deep clean. The room itself was clean, but outdated the bathroom was not so much clean. The breakfast was horrible not expected much but could’ve been better.

This hotel is extremely dirty, the lights did not work on our room. The room and general hotel smelled of feces and mold. The check in process took over 30 minutes. We walked into the room and immediately walked out. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. Expedia price was $125 but could have purchased through the hotel at $70.

Bedding was dirty. It was very evident that the sheets had not been change since the last guest. Upon peeling the layers of the bedding I discovered more body fluids and blood stains through the whole bed. I had to leave and ask for a refund. Would not recommend.

Sheets and towels were covered in stains, mattress cover was filthy, when I turned the lights on baby roaches scattered on the bedside table, I had to bring in cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom just to be able to shower!

I killed at least four roaches in the bathroom and on the mirror in the room. Never will stay here again.

The staff were very friendly. Customer service was excellent at check in. The property is not in the best shape—very worn. The room smelled like mildew. The towels and shower curtain were obviously old and thread-bare. The whole facility was not as clean as I would have liked.

The staff was realy accommodating and attentive. But i just dont think they know what clean is; dirty fingerprints on the doors and hallways. The othwr thing was the cheap towels and toilet paper (bring your own). The towels had stains and holes in them. It just looks like the owner's are cutting corners everywhere they can.

We were charged a fee to check in early, even though the room was ready. We found the room to have a torn couch, missing light fixtures, and a cracked mirror. I asked for and was given a new room, which was acceptable. The room was not short people friendly. I'm about 4'11". I had to use the covers to pull myself up on the bed. And taking a shower was nearly impossible. There was no tub, only a small box shower. The shower head was set about 7 1/2'up. The spray went directly to the wall and was not adjustable. If I got in the water, it was right in my face making it very hard to shower. The staff were all very nice and accommodating.

Room was very comfortable. Thought the trucker noise would bother me, but rooms fairly sound proof. One morning, noticed no sliced bread for toaster. Hall carpet had a few rolls. Looked old. TV's mute button stuck occasionally.

The room was good but the bed was too high I had to jump to get on the bed. Other than that all was good

The air conditioner was very noisy. It woke me up on every cycle. Almost asked for a different room but I was so tired I didn't want to go through the hassle. By morning I wish I would have. I picked the hotel because it was easy on and off from the Interstate. I'll use another hotel on this exit next time.

Nice rooms and comfortable beds surprising

Did not match the pictures and is a little more run down then the pictures show. Rooms are good, with a lot of new tech, like usb/plug in night stands. For our room, the sink pipe leaked, the shower drain was slow to drain, and we didn’t have the right amount of pillows/blankets/ or towels for the advertised pull out bed. The staff was courteous and got us everything we needed, just would have liked it stocked in the room. Hotel needs a little love, and is good for a one night stop only.

Stayed here several times on our way to Gulf Shores , over the years . I like the location and friendly staff. Rates are reasonable and the beds are comfortable.

decent hotel. nothing very fancy but had the basics. the shower rod however I think was installed incorrectly- the shower curtain kept sliding down to the middle which caused water to go on the floor, and the headboard had hand smudges on it like it wasn't wiped down. friendly staff though

Mediocre at best. Staff was rude.

Only thing i liked at this property was the location. And the young lady at tge counter. The manager was rude. When some other guess was trying to get some information he was very short and rude. They were sent down by their company. The breakfast is a joke. Water down eggs, sausage and gravey out the bag, but no meat on the bar. Onyl 1 old banana and packages of instant grits. Smdh. I would stay in the area just not this hotel.

One of the bed sheets had a big spot on it, the ac made a weird noise, the towels and wash rags didnt look completely clean. The staff didnt clean, change out towels or pick up trash never been to a hotel that didnt. Overall the hotel floors and lobby was clean the beds and pillows were soft and the staff was completely nice. Breakfast was served and good distance to many restaurants and stores, even publix and Walmart. I'll stay again

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, just needs some updating, paint was peeling in shower, room door could use replacing, you can see the hallway light through it. Other than that, it way ok

The handle to the shower fell off in my hand, the in room phones didn’t work and staff was incredibly rude!!! The “breakfast” was absolutely disgusting!! The staff refused to refill the empty stations or coffee….DURING the breakfast hours!!! I will never pay to stay there again!!! Complete FAIL!!

We often stay here on our way through. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. The Baymont is a good value and convenient.

Everything was okay when I checked in real fast no wait time

The hotel was very clean. The owners were super friendly. It kept training and blowing trash in the pool. They made sure to clean it and let me know when it was finished. I've already booked my next stay.

I have 2 service animals that came on vacay with us. The manager of the hotel seemed bothered that he had to let them stay. He said not to leave them unattended. I asked if I had them in the kennel just to run to the store or something. I assured him that they can’t do any harm inside of the kennel and they rest quietly when I play music. I mean it’s like 90 Degrees outside and not all museums will allow service animals. He shouted at me and said “DIDN’t YOU SEE THE SIGN! I said stay with them at all times.” Seriously?! Your policy says that we could have dogs, we abided by every rule, I just wanted to clarify your instructions. He watched as I took my grandmother’s wheelchair out of the truck and ran outside to say “I just want you to know that the accessible bathroom and bedrooms are all booked, there won’t be any room for that chair”. And not to mention that when we checked out, he said “no you don’t have to check out here, your receipt has been emailed, you can just leave!” I mean, did he really have to be that ugly? Not to mention that we were on vacay and did a lot of sightseeing, traffic was horrible, and when we get back to the hotel, the pool shuts down at 2045 and the laundering room locks at 0000. I’ve never been to a hotel where the staff was so disrespectful & non accommodating. Nor, have I been told, as a paying customer that I can’t go for a night dip in the pool & watch the stars with my husband :/ because of the laundering hours, I brought dirty laundry home.

This was a nice property for staying 1 night. There were places to eat very close but traffic was very congested upon exiting the motel.

Nice area around good food

Room is clean, bed very comfortable, hotel is not new but well kept. Breakfast was good, hubby loved the biscuits and gravy, I enjoyed making a fresh waffle. no liquid creamer which was a bummer!! As a whole it was a nice stay during our travels. I would recommend

Breakfast was below par. Limited fruit. Hot food only consisted of biscuits and gravy. Area for food was not clean. Dust covered shelf below sink in room.

It had a decent continental breakfast, functional fridge and microwave. It’s rough around the edges but well maintained for the price point and to get the job done.

We went to breakfast area by 8:30 and there was nothing. Everything was gone. The front lady mention they stop serving at 8:30. Breakfast bar was very poor. We ended up going to Waffle House and enjoyed our breakfast.

It's a cheap but clean and safe place to stay. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is horrible. For the price, it's the best choice in the area.
