THUMBS UP for the Site Manager, Amber. The room we were in had problems, the TV kept cutting off, and the phone didn't work...when i came downstairs to tell Amber, she immediately switched our room. The moral of my story is this: She was working with minimal staff, yet she wore a smile and she never lost control... you need people like her on your team who's focused on customer satisfaction. The hotel lobby and the room was clean, the staff was pleasant, the outside was inviting, and most of all they had a great breakfast, ice machines, vending machines, and washer/dryer facilites!! GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!

I felt my Sheets were not changed. When I slept on the bed, there was a smell that somebody had slept there. This is inexcusable. Breakfast was very average. Lift when it stopped on Floors gave a big thud. Pl fix it.

I chose this property because they mentioned an 8 star rating. Maintenance is need at the hotel - the gym was out of service, the juice machine in the breakfast area also had an “out of order “sign on it. Breakfast choices were limited to carbohydrates, it would have been nice to have fruit and protein choices.

The staff is very courteous and professional. The only thing they could improve upon are the grills. They used to be clean and in working order and they are definitely a plus for travelers. Either repair/replace them, or remove them from the patio and listing of property amenities.

There was a smell of Marijuana in the elevator and hallways. Breakfast was subpar. It would have been nice if there was yogurt or boiled eggs and fruit. Choices were oatmeal, bagels, waffles, grits or cereal. The staff was very friendly. We chose this hotel because of the ratings, so we were expecting a better experience. It was okay, but we would not stay there again.

The area is very quiet, within distance of food and shopping. The property was clean and so were the rooms. The Woman at the front desk was sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was offered. The bed slept great and the room offered everything we needed. Definitely will stay again!

I have stayed here many times in the past. However, this will probably be the last time as I found two German cockroachs in my room during the stay. I killed one, while the other remains on the loose in said room. I was going to tell the desk clerk at check out, but she seemed rather bothered that she even had to get up to take care of me. So I didn't bother.

The key cards for the rooms were horrible. I even complained. When it took several tries to try and get in the room with 2 different cards. Other guest were complaining as well. The front desk said they were upgrading soon. Thats great.but how about getting in the rooms now. What a pain

Room needed repairs & work - counter/entertainment center had large chips and gouges in it, a few small holes in the duvet, faint smell of Marijuana upon entering the room (disappeared after turning on the AC unit). Not enough outlets for charging, only bright overhead lights, limited breakfast.

We stayed here as a stopover before hitting New Orleans so thankfully didn't need to stay any longer. Not sure why it has an 8.2 rating. The receptionist on arrival was rude, no please or thank yous, very abrupt, I felt like I was an inconvenience, even my kids commented on how rude she was! For a huge chain like Wyndham, there should be standards to uphold, management need to sort their staff out, I would think twice about booking any of their hotels again. The hotel had a strong, really overpowering floral cleaner smell, maybe masking something as there was a strong smell of weed on our floor despite it being non-smoking. Room was OK, very tired looking and rough around the edges. Didn't even hang around for breakfast. Would not stay here again and would not recommend.

It’s now 2:21 AM. Men are outside with music blasting. I called the front desk twice she said there was nothing she can do. Once at 12:45 when it was just loud talking and laughing. Now they have music and loud singing. The front desk reply;They are free to stay outside as long as they wish. No regard for travelers who need to rest.

This place is only okay if you literally just need a place to lay your head. Staff was so stingy with sheets and towels. We had a 5 person reservation, so we had a twin window bed, a queen bed, and a pullout couch. Only sheets were on the queen bed. They were reluctant to give us sheets for the other 2, but eventually did. Towels- OMG. We only had 2 towels and 2 washcloths for 5 people. We went down to get more and they refused to give us more unless we traded dirty towels for those. So we can’t have at least 1 towel per person?? What the heck!! So we literally had to time out taking showers so we could trade dirty ones for clean ones. It literally took two trips down and two separate people to get them to at least give us 2 more for one dirty one. Just ridiculous to not get what we paid for.

We checked in and received a room full of paint thinner smells! It was unbearable m. The staff quickly gave us another room. Trying to enjoy the back patio area, we noticed a car parked in the parking lot playing music. No biggie. 2 hour later they were still there. A storm came through and we noticed they tried to leave. They then reversed their car up against the patio area. I confronted him and he was drinking heavily. I notified the front staff of him before I confronted him. They acted concern but really were not. They continued to do other things or training. They weren’t concerned about the safety of the guests. After talking to the guy in the car, he was very intoxicated. Later, my wife and went out again to the patio and he was still there. I confronted him again and he made a move in his jacket that was a cautious moment for me. At that time I told my wife to go in. I reported it to the next shift supervisor. She said Saraland would take care of this. At which, this did not happen. If you wish to have people park in your parking lot that scares guests, great! But, this will encourage others to go somewhere else!

Safe area. Breakfast very minimal. Very clean but carpet had a big stain and room smelled like it has been smoked in. Staff was great. Great for the price. Looks like a lot of workers may stay there while in town.
