We had excellent service at check-in restaurant/bar. Always friendly staff and clean property not too happy about the $10 money grab for parking that they charge. That’s just unnecessary and is a consideration when choosing other properties in the same area.

We felt very comfortable in our clean room. The pool and hot tub were nice but the hot tub didn't work. The food was great! The staff was courteous and helpful. Loved the in-app check-in and check-out. Enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Custom omelet with healthy vegetables to add. Yogurt, fruit and juice options. Room was clean and neat. Only issue was ordering a meal for dinner at the bar. Appears there were major delays in the kitchen. Likely would avoid getting a meal there in the future

My wife and I always use the work-out facilities when traveling. I always verify such facilities exist before booking. Unfortunately, all three treadmills were broken and unusable. Very disappointing. Also; soap dispensers empty in shower, tub didn't fully drain.

The grounds and pool area are quite nice. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the happy hour was the solid quality we have come to expect from Embassy Suites. We were first put into a room that backs to the freeway, the traffic noise lasted all night (minus 3 to 5 in the morning). The next morning, we asked Aaron at the front desk for a quieter room. He put us as far from the freeway as possible. Super quiet room and very comfortable. Aaron changed my review from a 2 star to a 4 star review with one nice piece of customer service!!

Property was well maintained. Convenient to the freeway. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious, comfortable, and clean. Ample parking. Wide variety of breakfast options. Laundry on 3rd floor $2.50 each for washer (28 mins) & dryer (50 mins), but only one of each. (Times are normal cycle)

The unit was dirty, even the remote control. There was a giant roach in the bathroom at night. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the front desk never answered the phone when I tried the call them (we checked in after a late flight). The next day they did offer to give us a new room though. And the staff was really friendly.

Very close to highway could hardly fall in sleep at night (I am not a light sleeper) Didn’t receive a receipt after fast checkout; reviewed credit card billed and noticed different amount, called the hotel and was told I was charge with parking fee despite I didn’t have a car at all. Credits were issued right away but indicates poor mgmt at the facility. How could a customer without car (no parking form filled out) be charged with parking?! Bathroom faucet is very dirty.

Our bathroom was not as clean as expected with hairs in the tub and floor. Trash around the property grounds. The maid threw out our pizza that my autistic son was counting on eating.

Staff was very friendly and nice. The room was dirty all around. Bathtub wouldn't drain properly, fridge wasn't cold, the return air vent was leaking, and worst of all.....I found someone's sock in the pull out bed.

This place smells like an old bar. The carpet smells like smoke. It’s run down 90s decor and the stairs are filthy. Dust bunnies and garbage piles in the corners. The staff is friendly but this property is an absolute dump. They need to power wash the outside areas, and it needs a total renovation and remodel. The shower was broken, the A/C smelled terrible. My clothes stunk after staying here. It was a depressing experience.

Sorry but definitely I won’t stay here again my room it was full of ants and bedbugs I call the front desk and they told me to call expidia to refund the money because didn’t have a manager on duty and the girls from the front desk didn’t know what to do how to give me a different room definitely bad service definitely never staying here again

To get to my room 233 had to use an unlighted elevator night and day. Hallway to my room unlighted and scary. Toilet acted as if it wasn’t going to flush. Finally flushed after I held the handle down for a couple of minutes. Lamp beside bed on the right did not work correctly all the time.

Friendly staff, stupid Management. The hotel is...old, and it shows. Single pane windows in AZ heat + right next to 2 busy roads means TONS of traffic noise and one side of your room is ALWAYS hot. AC system crippled, it would run constantly and still not keep the room cool. Tub was cracking/peeling and had someone's long hair in it..EWWWWWW. Obvious signs of deferred maintenance in the unit. Peeling paint, peeling finish in tub, doors. Stains on the carpet. Even the office chair was cracked/broken. The air filter was FILTHY black and had cobwebs and hair stuck in it...EWWWWWW Lastly, a $10 car/parking charge. REALLY? They had trucks with trailers blocking 8 spots and STILL had 75% of the spots open for overflow. Parking wasn't at a premium. This is stupid management at it's finest, penny pinching the room maintentance/cleaning but then charging extra to PARK, in Phoenix/Tempe.

Breakfast was great but the room had a number of maintenance issues that were frustrating. Not sure a great value for the money considering I just stayed in another embassy suites prior to the Tempe one and the same room cost $300 less for the stay with no maintenance issues.

4.5 star prices for 2.5 star property. Needs updated BAD, looks like all original 40 year old tile, paint, windows, curtains, and carpet. Find somewhere close for 1/2 the price.

The rooms were backed to freeway which was extremely noisy. Hot water and air conditioner needed fixed in room. Sofa bed was horrible. Housekeepers were rude. Front desk personnel were very nice. Thats the only positive thing.

The only thing is we put a do not disturb on our door so no one would come in our room yesterday. But unfortunately, someone did enter the room without our knowledge. We will more than likely be moving to another hotel because of this action tomorrow morning. Our insurance company is paying around $350.00 a night so we could use the privacy we expect when staying at any hotel.

Front desk was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was perfect. Bartender was absolutely overwhelmed and rude during the managers reception. Did have quite a scar though when we were given keys to a room that was already occupied. Thank goodness the person was just as shocked as we were and did not attack us especially in an open carry state. The hotel did nothing to try to make the situation better for us.

The staff here are amazing! Bar tender Diane was great fun and the 2 gentlemen who were looking after us at breakfast were beyond nice! Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. Restaurant food is good but very limited selection. Breakfast is great! Happy hour is a nice touch also! Pool area is nice. Rooms are large clean and well maintained.

Front desk staff were fabulous (shout out to Jessica!) as was housekeeping. However, during our stay over Thanksgiving, a fire broke out in their laundry area at 11:30 PM causing alarms to go off and forcing all guests to leave their rooms, mostly in pajamas. Lots of confusion and misdirection which really can't be faulted but no one took charge. Then, unbeknownst to us, the main gas line was turned off as a safety precaution. For the next 2 days of our stay, there was no hot water. Again, I can't fault them for the incident itself, but there was no communication- nothing direct via email or even posted in the lobby. It was incredibly maddening to head into the shower 2 mornings after the fire only to find ice cold water. The response was simply that they were waiting for the all-clear to turn the gas on. I get it, but why didn't you tell us ?!?

The hotel itself was comfortable, very nice & clean. It was my second time staying there. Me & my family enjoyed the wonderful breakfast too. But the hotel staff must have been either tired or undertrained because their customer service was terrible. Each time I called the front desk, it was a different person answering & my requests were never fulfilled. And when I called back to follow up, it was a different person each time & they knew nothing about my requests. I eventually flagged down one of the workers passing by who went out of his way to help me. Otherwise, the front desk assistance felt so impersonal & disappointing.

This hotel was NOT up to the standards of other Embassy Suites I’ve stayed at between the West and the East for over 30 years. The elevator was old. There were 2 loose dogs running around and one even scared a lady at the pool when it went up to her and barked. Although there were no instructions, I learned I had to hold down the toilet handle for 10-12 seconds in order to flush the toilet and they had an issue with the locks on the doors. I can back late one night to find i couldn’t get into my room. I called the front desk and they tried to claim they told everyone at check-in that they would change the locks. The lady was rude and argued with me when I told her I was NOT told this information. I then had to walk all the way to the front desk to pick up another key.

Close to the highway - some may see this as a perk and others a inconvenience. We did not hear the traffic noise from our room. I do feel the outside if the buildings are labeled well. We had a hard time finding the correct building. After that, everything was great!

The best part of the Embassy Suite is its location. It is located near the exit of I-60 making it very easy access to the area. And its full breakfast is not to be missed. Having said that, the property is rather old. And its layout is more like a motel than typical Embassy Suite. It did have some upgrades such as USB charging by the night stand and table lamp. I am still giving it a high rating because of its relatively low price.

Conveniently located right off the freeway, excellent free breakfast with made to order omelets and other hot items. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean with many places to charge devices. The grounds are large so you might have a longer walk to your room, but that’s not a big deal to me. Will definitely stay here when we come to Phoenix again.

The property was beautiful and the staff were amazing! The only con is that the restaurant menu is a bit limited but their are plenty of restaurants in the area so it's not really a problem! The breakfast buffet was amazing! There was a lot of food ro choose from and even an omelet station!
