I really like the outside pool at this Red Roof Inn plus. It is very clean and the water temperature was perfect. The tub drained very slow in Room 127. They do not charge for the first pet which is nice. The AC was rather noisy in the room. I like that it has 2 nightstands, plus a desk and nice desk chair. This is our go-to place in Tempe.

Red roof is usually a hit or miss but this is my Second time here on purpose because the area and customer service is awesome . Anytime I’m in Phoenix I will stay here . Prices are great too and pet friendly

So far everything has been great. All the ladies in he frint are welcoming and polite; Sara, Marie, Erika, Shay & Connie are always so helpful. Room serviced as promised and the best part is they allow pets, first one free! Its so hard to find a hotel without outrages fees. We extended it anohter week in the premium suite.

It’s nice that it’s near the airport, but it needs updating and all the doors to all of the rooms look nasty and need a coat of paint or replacing. The only reason I stayed here was the price.

It’s an older Phoenix area building so the condition of some stuff is aged but very clean. Quiet even though you’re right next to the highway and all the construction. Front staff was super friendly and loves dogs. All dog families stay on the ground floor so it’s convenient to go outside via multiple doors. Would stay here again.

The room had roaches everywhere, the sheets had spme "special" stains on them. Pretty sure working girlsare renting most rooms.Mamagemnt harassed us when we asked for toilet oaper, none was p4ovided. Most disgusting stay ive ever had.

The hotel had a bad smell to it as soon as you walk in. Elevators were dirty, dirty floors and walls all throughout.We checked into our room and the room was very outdated the floors were dirty we found a dead roach near the heater! I called the front desk for a manager was told they did not have one the lady said why what’s up? I corrected her asking her to be more customer service oriented and explained what i found and needed a new room. I was given an updated room it was ok the floors were still dirty but better than the previous room. Would not recommend.

This place was so icky. My bed cover had a burn hole in it and the sheets had stains. I don’t need a lot of frills when I am picking a place just to sleep but I do expect clean.

Old outdated room, broken items and horrible looking stuff everywhere (hire a better maintenance crew), parking lot and lobby full of random guests (?) that looks like they might be living in the hotel, cats everywhere, the front desk attendant had her food laying on the counter, tv was ridiculously small (you can get a brand new 55” tv for $200 these days), and you can just tell the owners out zero effort into making this place nice. I work as a head of maintenance and front desk manager at a resort, the not caring shows.

I really love this hotel. The rooms are big, the beds are very comfortable and they have large desks in them. There is a lot of space and they are always very clean. The staff are always very nice and professional. They have these beautiful cats on the property that hang out in the lobby and out front of the hotel. If you are looking for a simple, decent sized, clean hotel with excellent customer service, I highly recommend it.

Outside looks nice, inside not so much. The room was small and outdated. Shower was terrible, no fridge, no blow dryer. Walls are paper thin and we could hear everyone around us. Would not stay here again.

The staff were super nice and check in with our dog was quick and easy. The location is great for going over to Tempe and Mill Ave or getting up to Scottsdale. The room had a nice desk to get some quick work done and the shower was surprisingly good. My only downside was the beds being a bit stiff, if we come back to PHX to see friends again it is pretty likely we’ll be going here again!

Didn’t even get to stay here. Waited 45 mins by front desk and no one showed up. Had no other choice but to leave and go find another hotel as my girlfriend had to work the next morning at 6am and it was already past 12.

The hotel is fine, it's a place to crash. Nothing special. However, Erica who works the front desk in the evenings is super cheerful and very helpful. My room AC was out. I called down and she was up to check in less than 10 minutes, very happy to help, already with another room prepared for me. I was changed to a new room with A/c less than 15 minutes after my call. She did ask that with a smile

The late night front desk staff helped to resolve my problem and find us a room. We had checked in earlier in the day by our room wasn’t ready so we left our luggage. Sometime between our initial discussion about 10 am and our return at 10 pm the manager gave our room away and canceled our reservation. It wasn’t clear why especially since we had already stopped in and they were storing our bags.

Convenient to airport. Spent the night before an early morning flight. Hotel gets a lot of wear and it shows it. Room in bed were comfortable clean and was a value compared to other hotels in the area.

They advertise free breakfast but never once did I see it and when I asked I was told there was no breakfast. We were told by the clerk they stopped doing that a long time ago. We asked for clean towels and they denied it. No laundry facilities and the manager charged me more just to have a small refrigerator in our room. I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
