There was enough space in room. Not enough towels or toilet paper. Fitness room had 4 cardio machines 1 needed maintenance, some dumbbells and that's it. Please make a bigger facility and where's the jacuzzi?

There was nothing wrong with the property. That was all fine. The ONLY reason I had booked this room was for a very early shuttle to the Mesa-Gateway Airport. THE ONLY REASON!! At the time of the booking (5 months prior) I had talked to their customer service and explained that I NEEDED a shuttle for my 2 daughters and 2 grand-children (8yrs and 7months) at 4:30am. I as told that would be no problem and was assured it would be available. I was adament about this.Upon arriving the lady at the front desk told me that their shuttle services had been done away with several months ago. WHAT!!!! Not even a message was sent to me. Nothing!! This was the ONLY reason for the stay there. Mad was not a word that would describe my total frustration. Will never stay with this company again.

Originally I talked to Jim before arriving, and he was very informative and sweet. Then when we checked in- I met Jasmine, the front desk supervisor. Jasmine had great hospitality- that alone made me for sure decide when I go back to the area we will definitely be staying there again. The breakfast schedule was great because you can still sleep in without missing free breakfast. Everyone, even up to the housekeeping ladies they were so sweet and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like is the pool wasn’t working so we had to go next door & the area around the hotel was cheeks. I went to the circle next door, I was in the store less than 10 mins, someone was already knocking on my car asking my grandma for a ride, she disappeared before I even made it out the store, then this other dude was asking me for money.-and someone almost got into a fight. Besides that- the people were really nice and I would definitely stay there again when I visit the Phx area.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was average and the pool was nice and warm, but the deck needs to be refinished.

The hotel is very clean, rooms are comfy and modern, breakfast was pretty good.. pool needs to get some maintenance..

Good Things: The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly. BAD Things: The property offered a free shuttle but did not have a shuttle and had not had one for over a month according to staff. The shuttle/transportation was the main reason I booked that property, for transportation to and from the airport. I check the Springhill Suite website again thinking I had made a mistake maybe and free Shuttle Service was still there and on the Expedia site. Someone needs to update that please. It left me scrambling with no transportation. Then, once I received my bill there was an $11.61 Parking Recapture Fee. I didn't even have a car nor shuttle service so how could I park?? The drain in Room 304 in the tub was clogged so the water backs up YUCK and the toilet chain came loose but I am a little handy so I just fixed it YUCK again.

The swimming pool was tiny and dirty.

Beware that, by default, they charge you parking fees of ~$5 per day without notifying you or even asking you if you parked your car on their property. This charge doesn't appear on your final invoice/folio when you check out, but it subtly gets added directly to your credit card, and taken out of your incidental deposit. If you didn't even park your car, this charge still gets added by default, in which case you may need to call them and clarify that you didn't park, and then they agree to refund it. Otherwise, you may never notice this subtle charge on your credit card statement, mixed with 100's of other charges.

The shower was filthy! I have photos of you would like to see.

Poor cleaned, unsafe place to stay,breakfast was poor but ok ,very small room beda no confortables,front desk excelent ,hotel general restrooms are nasty need atention Hotel need renovation

Great service and front desk staff. Very friendly and nice. My issue with the hotel, is the dirty room. It was cleaned, but behind tables, under beds, etc were bottles, floss picks and more trash. Expected, but not at a Marriott brand. My other complaints are not necessarily in the staffs control. People stayed in the pool until about midnight even though it closes at 10pm. We could not sleep, they were so very loud. The neighbors blasted music that could be heard through the walls. Very annoying. Maybe it was just a bad weekend when we went. I know the location is prime, but not fond of being within a stones throw to a dispensary, smoke shop, and gentlemen’s club. Not an ideal area for families. I suggest staying closer to the airport, in a more esthetic are, upkept property, and for a fraction of the price. I know my review is mainly environmental and not on the powers of the property. But they do have the power to adjust rates accordingly, and the rates I paid were similar to higher end places for a budget motel experience in a questionable neighborhood.

We checked in. Unsafe neighborhoods people loitering outside. Altercation between front desk and littered. Filthy room COCKROACH IN BED. Had to find a new hotel at 1 am after long flight. Want a refund. This hotel should be shut down by the board of health!

No manager on site . Room was not clean. Used soap with hair in the shower.

Breakfast was ok. The room itself was terrible. The couch was unuseable because of disgusting stains all over it. Really? The carpet was also in bad shape with a number of stains and wear. This room was worse than a motel 6

Tub was not draining. Everything very old, someone else hair in the bed. Front desk was not helpful at all. I wanted my money back because we went elsewhere to shower, but they said I have to do it through Expedia.

When I arrived at the property I was greeted by Bo with a kind welcome and the ability to check-in early. While this is a non-smoking hotel, the 2nd floor smelled strongly of a certain green leafy substance. Thankfully upon entering my room the smell didn't carry into my room. When I was getting settled in, I noticed some cleaning needed to be done for my fridge and microwave. Bo sent up housekeeping and also asked if I wanted to switch rooms because I also saw a Silverfish. I did accept a change of rooms and when I entered the new room, the interior and furniture was very deteriorated I requested a change back to my original room which Bo helped with promptly. All was well until later in the evening after I returned from dinner, I was about to get into bed and turned on the night lamp and saw something on the side of the bed skirt (because there was a gap) and to my disgust there was who knows what on the bed skirt. I went downstairs and let Brenda know the issue I had. She apologized and offered to change rooms right away. We looked at three other rooms to check the bed skirts and it wasn't until the last room I felt comfortable enough staying in. Additionally the mattresses weren't flipped, the laundry room is a mess, and in the room I stayed with, the next morning I realized there was leftover soap from prior guest. Marriott needs to get on-site to bring this property up to their cleaning standards. Shawn, Bo and Brenda were kind, helpful and tried to make things right.

Our couch has a white stain. Our curtain has multiple stain. Coming in the room smells wet/moldy.

Wonderful hotel. Rooms are very big and very clean. Check in was fast. I will definitely continue to stay at this brand of hotel.

Great check in and room was clean. There didn't feel like there was enough light overhead of the office desk in the king size room I was in. Also when I was in the shower, the water pressure suddenly diminished and turned ice cold before I was able to finish the shower. Breakfast looked wonderful and it was nice to have hot tea and coffee available throughout the day. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Shower leaked all night. Comforter smelled. AC wont hold temp at night, defaulted to 72

Unfortunately too many things were not working. Our TV didn't work, the lights in the bedroom didn't work, etc. The staff fixed them, but it just seemed run down, in general. The breakfast was decent, but this hotel could definitely use some renovating.

It was convenient but the hitel area was very noisy. A lot of traffic noise. Buffet was ok, typical free hotel breakfast, nothing special.

The staff was very professional and helpful. The facility was clean and peaceful but my shower experience was unsatisfactory as I had less than 10 minutes of warm water before turning ice cold each of the 5 nights I was there. I thought the 1st day was an error so reported it the 2nd day. They worked on it and the water was warmer but never hot but still less than 10 minutes. I continued my stay as was attending my Grandson's tournament,😌 and the surrounding hotels was up in cost due to the holidays. I was very uncomfortable at the tournaments as I didn't feel fresh. That would be my only issue for not recommending this facility as I am unsure if others was experiencing the same issue.

The staff was rude when greeting us several times and suggested that we cancel the reservation. It took us two hours to check in. The bathtub was full of water, which when we informed the staff, they replied with "we already knew" we couldn't take a shower in this place, it was a nightmare to be here

Brissa really helped us out when we needed help checking in. At first they didn't have the room we originally booked available but once we spoke to the front desk clerk she really went above and beyond to make sure she got us in the room we needed to be in. Brissa had an amazing attitude and I would stay here again just because of her helpfulness and kindness.

Can not say anything about property since they were not able to check us in. Their system was down and nobody knew when it would be ready to take our money. Front desk associate was very apologetic and kind, but it didn’t change a fact that we were not able to get in the room. And having early morning flight, it was more that just inconvenience. Had to find new arrangement for new place to stay last moment. Hopefully, it was just one time problem for this property. And really hope it will be not any surprising cancellation charges for this unsuccessful stay.

The front desk staff was amazingly helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was nice, the room was very nice, and the overall experience was lovely.

Hotel decided to overbook paid for reservations. I reserved about a month in advance and paid in full. I arrived at the hotel around 10:45pm after 5 hours driving only to find out a lobby full of people that had their flight cancelled and were sent here w/ a voucher. By the time it was my turn, hotel was sold out. I was left with nothing but a “deal with it on your own”. “Supervisor” Jasmin was extremely rude. I understand she was under pressure but in no way I would be talking to customers the way she was & I work in customer service! Also the other lady working the front desk, I believe her name was Tabitha(?), was completely useless to assist in at least keeping the people in the lobby updated about the situation. I had to try to find a room at 11:30pm in an area unknown to me. With 2 kids. Luckily Holiday Inn was able to accommodate me & provide the service every hotel should be giving. Please stay away from this place! Spend the extra $20!

Disappointing starting with the surprise $50 a day incidental fee which is held on your credit/debit card staff was not friendly particularly the manager she seemed very unconcerned when I expressed my concerns to her the morning staff didn’t speak or smile I understood the housekeeping policy every other day no housekeeping just once I was told to put towels & trash outside door I had a 6 day stay carpet filthy stains on lamp staff needs customer service & diversity training treat all customers kind & friendly

Noisy fan in room, can hear showers in rooms on both sides of us and noise from exit door at end of hall opening and closing. Homeless couple living in car parked on property, loitering in parking lot late at night.

I liked the easy access from the freeway. It was clean and the breakfast was average. Good for an overnight stay.

We did not stay. We checked in, went to our room, and checked everything out as we usually do. We decided it was not a secure area, the door was not secure, the bathtub looked dirty. The couch ottoman had questionable stains on it. The wall by desk area and countertop were dirty. We immediately went to checkout. The staff was friendly, yet they still chose to give us that room. I didn’t want to even try another room because of the area. Expedia went above and beyond to help us cancel and receive a refund, even though it was a nonrefundable reservation. I’ve always been satisfied with Expedia’s customer service.

Close to the airport, and great restaurants.

The location is busy with a dispensary across the road. Lots of foot traffic.

Enjoyed my stay but the only downside was the breakfast options. Only 2 hot breakfast options

Super clean room, ac fantastic, check in customer service i believed his name was Christian, outstanding, very respectful and professional, pool was nice and refreshing but...should be open at least until 11pm Arizona weather is no joke also breakfast in the morning should keep it flowing when finished you have to wait in line about 15 minutes until gets restocked

Room stayed cool, service was great, and good breakfast

Made it in plenty of time for breakfast but there was next to nothing available. Many people after us found out the same.

Breakfast choice too few

The rooms were older and the bedding had a dead fly on it. When I made the reservation I did not know there was a $50 non- refundable and a $5.00 cleaning fee added to the price I already paid-$148.00. The breakfast was bad and most of the food seemed not cooked-runny scrambled eggs and half cooked patty sausage.
