Days Inn by Wyndham Anaheim Near the Park

The staff was very very nice. Small cozy motel. The pool was amazing!! Very very clean. A perfect place to get away to for a quiet relaxing weekend.

Nice place, comfortable room, loved the hot tub. Had an issue where we slept in late because I thought I extended our stay at the hotel, but it was at another Days Inn in the area. The Front Desk guy was super nice, very understanding about the confusion. Definitely will rebook in the future.

Great comfy beds and well appointed rooms. Has pool and hot tub and mild breakfest. Check out time of noon is nice. $25 or so uber to disney as well. Only snag was regular room while requested handicapped.

Check in was ok. The room itself was clean but the toilet would barely flush and the water would rise up. The shower head was rusty and you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in forever. The pool was being filled with the water hose and was a complete safety hazard as kids were in there. Our daughter got her hair tangled in the hose and children could've gotten strangled in it. The housekeeping area on the first floor was dirty and the outside area just wasn't very well kept. When we checked out the front desk agent just looked at me and didn't even ask how our stay was. Poor hospitality. We will not return.

The property is ok, quiet, safe and no problem with parking. However, it would be more convenient (for disabled person) if there is another elevator at the other end of the property for rooms on the other end instead of just one near the office.

Stayed for a night just for the pool, the connecting rooms were wonderful and the pool was fun. Would definitely stay again!

Totally opposite what we see in the picture. Breakfast is pre packaged. Coffee is horrible. I will not feed that breakfast to my dog. Swimming pool is dirty and not enclosed. Don’t be fool by looking at the pictures. Picture you see is only front. Picture of the rooms is totally opposite. Dirty and really dirty. U will never recommend to any one.

Positive experience. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi and pool area was nice and enjoyable. However, not impressed with the breakfast. Very few options even for continental. No fruit or yogurt.

Room was very small but had been remodeled. Would have liked some type of dresser to unpack in. Beds and pillows very lumpy and not comfortable, although appeared clean. Elevator was filthy. Free breakfast very limited and staff had to be reminded every day to refill items that were out. We found 3 VERY LARGE COCKROACHES in our room. One on each of the first 3 nights. Granddaughter had one on her in bed and jumped up and flushed it. Night two, one was in the bathroom. We trapped it and called office staff to come and get it. Third night another was in the bathroom. I trapped that one and took it to the front desk. Desk clerk said he would talk to manager. Manager told desk clerk that he would offer discount but that it had to be initiated through Expedia since that's where we made our reservation. These cockroaches were HUGE, between 2 and 3 inches. After the 3rd one, the desk clerk asked if we wanted to move, but we figured it probably wasn't limited to our room and we didn't want to go through the hassle of moving just for our last night.

Huge cockroach in our room halfway through our stay. They handed us a can of raid as a solution. Bathtub didn’t work properly. Trash piled up everywhere.

I say dirty because although the room was technically clean, we ended up having an ant problem the second night. We came in at night to two trails of ants!!! One trail coming from the bathroom wall and the other coming through the front door! We asked for a new room but were told that we couldn’t be accommodated at that time and they gave us some bug spray. The last thing a guest wants to do on their vacation is fight ants! Lastly, we observed that the base of the toilet was black with an unidentifiable substance. That can’t be sanitary.

Property could use some renovations and deep cleaning, breakfast was Ego’s and Costco muffins. The staff were super awesome! Location was convenient so if you are just looking for a place to lay your head at night and use the rest of the time to visit the local attractions, it’s the perfect place for the price point. Did encounter some small cockroaches mainly in the bathroom areas coming out of some of the bad caulking job around the bath/toilet. Would probably choose another place to stay on my next visit.

The property was clean. It was mostly quiet. Can’t really blame the hotel for other guests. Not the greatest surrounding area but the location itself was nice. Plenty of parking. Close to knotts. My two kids and I had a good experience. AC runs cold, beds were pretty comfortable. You can’t beat the price.

Our room ended up having ants in the room. I called the Front Desk from our room on our last night there after discovering it was ants that were biting my husband. Front Desk ended up switching us to another room that night. After going back & forth with Expedia & the hotel, it was found out that the Front Desk never documented my complaint about the ants & bites. As someone who works in a 4 diamond hotel, this whole experience is not acceptable. It really put a stain on our family vacation for our son's birthday. Not only were there ants in the room biting my husband, but not being believed because of the lack of documenting by the hotel staff. I did take photos of everything but that doesn't seem to matter. I will not be staying at a Days Inn or Wyndham property again.

We didn't get the room we wanted because the door lock was broken, there was a dead roach in the room and the floor.was filthy, I turned my feet black from walking bare foot in the room. The.cold water faucet in the bathroom had almost no water pressure.

BLACK SLUDGE & ANT INFESTATION! I highly urge anyone considering to stay at this hotel to find another option. My sister and I stayed for one night and it was awful. We first checked in to a room on the second floor. My sister used the bathroom once and when she flushed the toilet the sink regurgitated black sludge and nearly overflowed. It smelled disgusting so we told the front desk. They said “oh yeah” and moved us to a new room on the third floor. We tried to be optimistic and hope for the best. It seemed better at first until we noticed thousands of ants infesting the room all along the edge of the walls and into the bathroom. When we notified the front desk they offered us a business card for the manager who never replied to our input that the rooms should be properly cleaned and plumbing fixed. No one from this hotel offered any solutions and honestly the whole experience was just awful! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The first night we found a cockroach in our room. I hadn't ever been to California and thought maybe it was kind of like how Florida has them everywhere and call them palomino bugs (spelling might be off, but you get the gist). Night 3 we found another and I went to the office to let them know. The young man stated that it is because the rooms face outside instead of having internal hallways and that he couldn't give me any money back since I booked with Expedia. He told me to follow up with them for money back. He did say that he could switch my room and that they reserve some emergency rooms for issues of this type, but knowing that he had said that it was because of them facing the outdoors, I assumed that it would happen in the new room and why uproot everyone and everything we had for that for 2 more nights.. He stated that he could go get me some bug spray, but I knew that the bug spray only matters if I see the bug and spray it and I feel I could be more efficient with stepping on it to kill it. The young man told me that he was going to notify housekeeping for in the morning. Later that night my husband found 2 more cockroaches. Once home, I contacted Expedia and asked them for money back and when they contacted the hotel, the hotel said they had no record of this. I called the hotel later myself and the same man told me the same thing and gave me the manager's email but the manager won't answer me!!!

We stayed at Days Inn for a Disney trip, which was very convenient with just a short 10-minute drive to Disneyland. Room service was good, and they cleaned the room every day. However, the rooms were smaller compared to other hotels in the same price range.

Hotel room was very small, table with chairs that wouldn’t go under the table, impeded the accessibility of the ac unit.

No wifi one foot away from the door. The people in the next room were so loud and fighting until 4 am. I spoke to the receptionist and they did nothing to fix these issues.

The internet was unusable. The room was nice but the property was old and dirty. It is close to the parks but that is the only up side to ths property

There was some noise at 4 am from upper-room. It made me difficult to sleep.

Recently remodeled room. Better than expected for the price.

The only problem we had . Was the cable didn’t work our tv was always freezing.

Not good service

I had a very bad experience with their customer service. People who on the front desk are so rude and not polite at all. And it’s been over seven business days and I didn’t get back my security deposit that they asked me it will be back to my card within 2 to 3 days. When I try to talk to them after that the guy who answered me, he yelled at me, and after that, he refused to transfer me to his manager, it was a very terrible place to stay. Don’t recommend it to anybody. Nobody should be treated like that.

Staff are very friendly, clean!!

We were on the ground floor in room 140, and there was a sliding glass door to the pool area, but it was super private. It was nice to throw open the door for fresh air and added space. Alyssa at the front desk was really helpful in printing out the documents I needed that week. Nice breakfast.

I still didn’t get back my deposit. The front desk guy said, I will get it in two business days , 5 days have passed and nothing!!

Had to call out a youngster at the front desk, had an attitude , assigned us room on the 3rd floor when I asked him if there were elevators he replied "no", therefore requested rooms on the first floor, later found out hotel has elevators. When I checked out inform the front desk person what had transpired.

Rude check in front desk. Paper thin ceiling. Guest above running back and forth, jumping around after 11pm and continued after 12:30am. Phone did not worked in room, called front desk from mobile phone about noise above, noise still continued.

Good sized room with basic amenities. Standard Continental breakfast offered, but coffee only during breakfast hours. The rooms were cleaned daily and staff is friendly. Overall it's proximity to Disney parks makes it a good stay at a reasonable price.

This property was very nice and clean ,but there's some homeless walked around on the balcony around 20:30 WHICH WE DIDN'T felt safe she walked around and stay by the elevator !

10 minutes drive to Disneyland, walking distance from knotts park, clean rooms, friendly staff, decent brakefast. Lot of shopping options and food, I've been there 3 times for 1 week at the time, and never had an issue.

the area did not feel safe

There seemed to be people hanging out in the parking lot that weren’t guests, it made me concerned for my personal belongings left in my car.

You are paying for what you get. It was completely located near the Disneyland Park. I give it two out of five stars because around 5:00 a.m. someone started knocking on a door. Some drunk woman trying to get into the room. Try calling the front but no one answered. Regardless even if that didn't happen I would still be giving it about a 3 out of 5 stars because of the area, lot of the areas around it was not clean, and of course the breakfast was okay. At least you are getting breakfast. Overall if you want something cheap affordable and near the park go right ahead pick this one.

Its very closeby to knott berry farm and 20 min drive from disney parks. Breakfast was okay with limited options. Property is old and room was not super clean, but it was worth the price paid for the stay.

Clean facility and decent breakfast

Everything was great no complaints on rooms parking or staff. The only thing I wish they offered is some diabetic friendly breakfast options. All their breakfast items were sugar ( waffles, muffins, cereal, orange juice). Maybe adding some fresh fruit would be nice.

We stayed overnight here while attending Disneyland. It was a very short drive to the Disney Parks, location was quiet, rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was pretty weak - white bread for toasting, oatmeal packages, tiny cinnamon buns. There could have been some fruit and yogurt added to it. But other than the breakfast, all was good.

The property was clean with modern restrooms. The area around was a little run down but it was convenient to Disneyland, Huntington Beach, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Mid-evil times. The only con, the continental breakfast was a bit of a let down. Cereals, a selection of oatmeal, some pastries and toast options, and eggo waffles.

The Breakfast was good for the price of the room.

No hot breakfast, just bread/butter or cereal etc. don’t fall for bed & breakfast if you’re thinking of reasonable hot (egg/sausages) etc.
