Great location, they had a room with the ice machine washer dryers a freezer to store your fish and outside of that room they had a fish cleaning counter with s sink and granite. Nice pool and hot tub and just a nice place for a family to go. I thought the price was reasonable for Bishop. The location was great. Next time we go to Bishop, we will stay there for sure.

Poolside furniture was ripped or shredded looking. Warm enough water for showering only lasted a few minutes and then turned cold. Outdoor covered seating area for meals was nice! Behind the laundry room. We used it for dinner for three nights.

Room was really nice and clean. Beds comfortable, pillows fluffy, great shower pressure, conditioner shampoo soap provided, pool, hot tub. worth it!! Ive paid a lot more for similar places. Plus breakfast included.

I had been camping in Yosemite for a few days and my companion wanted to take me to Bishop. The room had a nice king bed and a good shower. We used the pool and the hot tub. The pool has a few signs of being older, but was a nice temperature, just cool. We used our camping equipment and cooked in the picnic area adjacent to the pool area. It was just perfect for what we needed.

Telephone in room did not work. Hot tub was out of order, even after I called earlier in day to confirm. No hot water in room 1st day. Dirty linens in large baskets all over property. Pool water was merkey. DEFINITELY NOT HOW IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN THE PAST!! WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!

Location was great, room was clean and staff was attentive and friendly. But amenities need upgrading. Pool was dirty and had algae. Jacuzzi was broken and had green smelly water. Patio furniture was broken. Water in shower turned cold once others used water, was informed by front desk receptionist that boilers were not functioning. I would go back but with hopes that these areas would be addressed. As the property is in a great location and staff was great.

We have stayed at the Vagabond before and thought it to be good for the price, How ever this time I woke early and there was a cockroach a few feet from the bed and another in the bathroom. This freaked me out. I guess we will have to pay a higher price for a hotel next time so that we don't have to share our room with a couple of Cockroaches. Too bad!

ANTS. Everywhere. In the towels, the carpet, the walls. The AC was putting warm air out. It was cooler outside than the room. Notified management immediately and they gave me any bait and told me it’s any season and to try and keep my things in my car and anything off the floor and no food in the room. Unacceptable and unprofessional After driving all day I expected to come and relax and this was exactly the opposite. Also the majority of the rooms in the hotel are being lived in by the road construction crew that gets up extremely early and all start their trucks are loud collectively. We arrived so late the first night we had no where else to go and everything was booked. We shook out the sheets, stayed the night and did not unpack anything from the car. We left as soon as light came 6am. I asked for a refund and he gave me one night back. The 2nd night that I was not staying. I’m currently disputing the first night.

There was one huge cockroach found and also a handful of ants in the room which I really disliked. The carpet is dark brown that tells me it needs to be shampooed and deep cleaned. It would be an improvement if they just also included hardwood floors in the bed area. I did like the fresh smell of the room and they did make up the bed neatly kept the air conditioning on in a cold temperature which was really nice. I also liked it had a fridge, microwave, an iron with board and hairdryer also. The walls are thin so heard everything next door and also above me.

The front desk staff is always so friendly when I check in here and I appreciate that so much! Our room was also extremely clean. The mattress in room 131 needs to be replaced though - the right side slopes so much my partner had to sleep in the middle of the bed so he didn’t roll off. :( Otherwise we think this is a great spot!

The air conditioning unit was so loud that we couldn’t leave it on and hear the television, let alone sleep while it was on. Both beds were worn and slanted toward the center of the room. This is the kind of property where guests hang out outside of their rooms and/or leave their doors open so that they can watch and interact with passersby. Very low class!! The walls were paper thin, so if any of your neighbors are loud, you are going to hear EVERYTHING. it wasn’t a problem for one night of our stay but was a major problem for the other night. Checkin and checkout were quick and efficient.

We stayed here a couple years ago and we had no issues so i was really surprised with our stay this time. We got to the hotel at 245 and had booked 2 rooms. We were told our rooms would be ready in 30 minutes to an hour so we left and about 20 minutes later our friends got there and they were able to get one of rhe rooms that we booked so we went back to get our other room and was now told it would be another 2 hours. They decided to put us in a different room that was ready. Our friend's had asked for some extra towels sonce the rooms inly cine with 2 and they were a family if 4 so i asked for more towels also. Yhey saod they would have a maod bring them

Booked reservation thru Expedia. Upon arrival, hotel had no record of reservation . Hotel staff informed me that the same thing happened to another customer an hour prior. Thankfully, hotel staff/Emily was able to place me in another room after canceling with Expedia and booking directly with them. I'm not happy with Expedia at the moment. Hopefully, they will make things right.

This hotel was pretty decent. Breakfast was crowded. It was the customer service that was extremely questionable. From not helping us how we instructed and informed ahead of time to changing the name of the reservation (without confirming with me) and blocking me out of my room. The hostess Sarah wouldn’t let me in without the cardholders permission even though the room was under MY NAME AND HOTELS.com ACCOUNT. Even the manager Luis had to be called and asked me “my question is why is he not answering your call?” Insinuating I did something to cause the mixup. Completely unprofessional of Luis and Sarah not to know better that the name of reservation is never changed without the person’s consent and them checking ID of the reservation holder. Literally, google it. The service from the front desk staff ONLY, was shocking. It’s very disappointing to have had this experience here. I ended up leaving early because the entire situation was stressful and I didn’t like being treated poorly by the front desk for absolutely no reason.

The staff were very friendly. Check in was easy, there were plenty of cable channels to choose from. It was relatively clean, the beds were the only odd thing. One was really comfortable and the other was pretty hard. Overall we would come back for sure. Breakfast was convenient, parking was plentiful, it was a perfect place for a family. Thank you!

The front desk staff is shockingly rude and unwelcoming, as if guests are an inconvenience. The outrageous price they charge for these run-down rooms should be illegal. The place reeks of stale odor, and the refrigerator and air conditioner roar so loud you’ll wish you slept in your car.

My stay at the Vagabond was pleasant overall. Although I experienced issues with a malfunctioning refrigerator and a continuously running toilet, the front desk responded promptly, and maintenance resolved both problems within minutes. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the French toast and waffle breakfast was enjoyable. Parking was ample and convenient. The only drawback was the presence of construction workers socializing and drinking outside my door at night. Aside from that, my stay was comfortable and satisfactory.

Ants in the bathroom, not quiet ( loud cars and kids running around without parent supervision), breakfast not good(stale cereal,minimal food options), I had to get the attention of the lady at the front desk because she was on her cell phone to get service. Location was good for walking and a lot of restaurants to choose.

Easy and comfortable one night stay, my second time staying at Vagabond in the last year. Easy parking and very quiet. Breakfast options are basic but that’s fine by me as Eric Schat’s Bakkery is a couple blocks away and always a treat in the morning while in Bishop.
