Horrible customer service. After booking months ahead of time, we were not notified that the pool renovations were not completed by date previously communicated and that pool would not be available for use. The day before our trip, I reached out and after I inquired on the pool, only then was I informed that they were not available. The heated pool, spa and sauna was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel for a Family trip on new years. It was New Year's Eve and we couldn't find availability at other hotels - We were stuck with them and they knew it. The customer service and manager did not respond to emails, nor did they attempt to remedy the situation what so ever.

Expansive property with lots of separate buildings. Beautiful grounds. Great pool, spa and sauna. Accessibility was good in our room, but iffy outside; there are few curb cuts on the walkways for a wheelchair or scooter. Great restaurants nearby; one on-site and one across the highway.

Our favorite aspect was the super friendly staff at check in and at the restaurants. We also enjoyed the spacious room, beautiful views, big heated pool, plus sauna and hot tub. Convenient location for visiting Bodega Bay and the surrounds. The Tides Restaurant looks outdated but the restaurant is better than it looks, and has amazing views. And the market in that building is definitely worth a visit. The Bayview was very nice as well for dinner. Continental breakfast at the Tides was solid. There was a serious lack of towels and cushioned seats by the pool. There would be 15 people at the pool and only 3 got a cushioned chaise to lay on. Fireplace in room was cozy but made jolting noises through the night as it turned on and off. All in all we had a great stay and would come back again.

Great views of Bodega Bay and beautiful property. However, the decor is quite dated and seems to be IKEA quality. The exercise room consists of 3 aerobic devices and limited free weights. You have to cross CA1 for breakfast. There are no areas on property to get refreshments.

This hotel is a great retreat for a weekend away. We escaped for a holiday away and this was a great hotel choice. We relaxed and enjoyed cozy time with a fireplace and a stunning view. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was a touch outdated but the water was quite warm and the toiletries were great. Parking was super easy. It was a quick walk to the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was perfect on a foggy afternoon. The pool was frigid, but a warmer day it would have been perfection. Having a restaurant on property for our holiday dinner was also a nice bonus. They gave us a free bottle of wine so we brought it home for friends since we don't drink. Having the fridge was a nice feature also because we grabbed some snacks and were able to have an indoor picnic lunch with treats we kept in the fridge.

Tyler at the front desk was very courteous, professional and gave excellent customer service. He assisted with modifying our room with no cancellation fee. We booked the king room with fireplace. It was comfortable and spacious. The only downside was that there were dead bugs in the shower but nothing that we couldn’t just wash down the drain. Love the large hot tub that opens until 11pm. Also loved the complimentary continental breakfast or voucher for 25% off a meal.

Everything was great with the exception of the pool and hot tub not working. I booked this property as I was traveling with kids and the heated pool was a huge factor. I was not informed in any pre-arrival communications or pre-booking warnings.

We had a lovely stay at The Inn at the Tides. The front desk staff were wonderful, and our room was beautiful and clean. The pool, hot tub, and sauna looked great, although we did not get a chance to use them, and the grounds were well kept. Would stay again!

We had a beautiful view from our room, it was cozy sleeping with the windows open. Nice quiet place, on the other hand, the white towels in the bathroom are almost black!!! The bathtub is chipped all over, and the drain was broken.

Beautiful spot, very nice rooms. A bit disappointed that they switched from real log fireplaces to gas, but understand. I was a bit surprised that there was no microwave in the room. Also, the WiFi signal was so weak that it was almost unusable and we had to resort to using a phone hotspot.

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a room at the corner of the building about three quarters up the hill from the highway. We had an awesome view of the bay from the back and side windows. The larger than most pools and being T-shaped, was across the walkway with a spa. The pool area was older but pretty comfortable and lead to showers and a sauna plus a gym that was usable. The WiFi worked well for us and the grounds were quite nice. The restaurant/market/deli was across the street and gave us some cardio before and after breakfast. Overall, I would give our stay 4.5 stars. We came up to Bodega Bay for a wedding and this was the perfect place.

The property is very conveniently located. The rooms are spacious and have great views of the bay. We saw deer, cows, cranes, and hummingbirds from our desk. The staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was included and the pool complex was lovely--pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. We believe this is the best option for lodging in Bodega Bay. The rooms are somewhat dated with dumb (not smart) televisions and no streaming capabilities. Just antenna channels. However, the wi-fi worked and we streamed what we needed from my laptop. They lacked some conveniences like make up mirrors, removable shower heads, and properly working alarm clocks. But those are minor inconveniences.

The bottom rooms are very noisy, not much in sound deadening, you can hear every flush of the toilet from the upstairs guests and the voices from the adjacent room. 3. The housekeepers supply room next to guests room makes for a noisy morning.

The hotel rooms and views are great, but the foghorn droning on every 7 seconds was pretty rough. With no fan to drown out the noise, I didn’t sleep much. Ear plugs were no help. If this noise is soothing for you, go for it!

The bed was very hard and difficult for both of us to get a good nights sleep. The #1 thing every hotel should have is a comfortable mattress, as the point is to have a comfortable place to sleep. Without that basic need filled there is no point in staying at that particular property.

The staff was unsupportive in my complaint about the incredibly loud ice machine located right outside the door to the room. I immediately asked to change rooms and was told that it “might” quiet down after 9:00 PM. I asked to change rooms and was given a substandard ADA double queen room. My original reservation was for a superior King room with fireplace. The hotel was not fully occupied. They could gave done better but the front desk woman was being obstreperous.

Staff was rude in both the restaurant and checkout. 2 individuals only. Asked for juice that was part of the meal and although I already asked for the juice as it was part of the continental breakfast, and shown as usch on the menu, told me I had to request it; which I already had. Checking out, asked to see my bill and a copy to verify charges, and was told to contact 3rd party booking. Extremely disappointed in the attitude. Jim should get out of the hospitality business.

The staff was unsupportive in my complaint about the incredibly loud ice machine located right outside the door to the room. I immediately asked to change rooms and was told that it “might” quiet down after 9:00 PM. I asked to change rooms and was given a substandard ADA double queen room. My original reservation was for a superior King room with fireplace. The hotel was not fully occupied. They could gave done better but the front desk woman was being obstreperous.

So the Inn and receptionists, waitstaff fine dining restaurant were great. Food was phenomenal too. But the majority of the staff at the restaurant across the street were cold, unfriendly and a bunch of prudes. I politely asked one of the waiters if i could sit at the bar and he said “Well can you? Like physically. Go see the hostess she needs to do a headcount.” I go see the hostess and she was like hmm 1 person not sure let me see. Made a face and spoke to her colleague. This was when they had like 5 people in the restaurant. Shameful customer service. I’m complaining here about that place because it’s the same company.

Tyler at the front desk was very courteous, professional and gave excellent customer service. He assisted with modifying our room with no cancellation fee. We booked the king room with fireplace. It was comfortable and spacious. The only downside was that there were dead bugs in the shower but nothing that we couldn’t just wash down the drain. Love the large hot tub that opens until 11pm. Also loved the complimentary continental breakfast or voucher for 25% off a meal.

Great location! Nice property with outdoor pool/hot tub. Continental breakfast is included at restaurant across the street. Note: you cannot walk anywhere from this hotel except the restaurant across the street. Located on HWY 1 and there is no sidewalk or shoulder, so not good for walking anywhere.

Nice rooms with an amazing view of Bodega Bay. It was a bit of a trek up and down a steep driveway without a sidewalk to get from our room to the street and back. But otherwise it was great. We ate across the street rather than in the hotel dining room, which is also where breakfast is served. We woke up to cows right outside our parking space which was a pleasant surprise. Would not recommend the property for those with mobility challenges, or if you do make sure to drive in and out.

We needed a quick getaway for Memorial Day weekend and decided to go to Bodega Bay. The Inn at the Tides seemed like a great value and we are really glad we booked. Check-in was easy and our room included a complimentary bottle of Salmon Creek chardonnay. What a treat! We reserved a deluxe room with a bay view. The room was great. Very clean room and bathroom areas. The view of the bay was awesome. We got lucky with the weather and had clear mornings the whole weekend we were there. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were all working great and are open from 9 am - 11 pm. The hot tub is large and could sit 10-12 adults comfortably. The sauna is a dry sauna and is nice and hot. The room also included breakfast at the restaurant that is attached to the Inn. The restaurant is across the street in a building that also includes a market and snack bar with a nice deck out back with seating. Breakfast is a basic continental and a nice statt to the day. Its light, which is good if you're planning to pig out on seafood all day (Spud Point Crab Co. and Fishetarian are probbaly the two best local options). Overall, a great stay and worth the price.

Location was ideal for the places we wanted to visit. Our overall stay was pleasant. The 4 PM check in time should be changed to 3PM. It would have been better if they had rooms with a King and Queen Beds rather than a King with a sofa bed. The free continental breakfast is meager which we skipped and chose a regular discounted breakfast at the Tides, but the quality was like a standard continental lobby breakfast. The treadmill I hoped to get a workout on did not go past 1mph.

We really liked the room. The pillows were a little too soft. The bathroom was good size. The shower fixtures seemed worn. A water pic would be a nice addition. We had great access to the pool and spa area, which was great. We had dinner at the on site restaurant on Friday night and it was great. Very friendly and helpful staff and great location for golfing at the Bodega Bay links.

The Inn buildings on a hill so be prepared to work those leg muscles. The pool was great for the kids, there is a large hot tub for the adults, and a nice sauna. Housekeeping folded the kids' blankets and set up their stuffies on the bed so cute. We did not try the restaurant at the front desk building but had breakfast everyday and one dinner at the Tides Restaurant. All very tasty. There are two gift shops, one food focused the other had your typical gifts. All the staff interaction was excellent, everyone very friendly. One thing not on the website is that the Inn does have coin operated laundry across the front desk building in the next building over. We had a relaxing week with family and enjoyed our first ever stay here.

Breakfast used to (years ago) include a proper meal (hot), but now is pretty basic. Times have changed, I know and it’s fine for what it is. Everything else was more than fantastic! Lovely king room, 2nd floor, with fireplace. Highly recommend!

Our favorite aspect was the super friendly staff at check in and at the restaurants. We also enjoyed the spacious room, beautiful views, big heated pool, plus sauna and hot tub. Convenient location for visiting Bodega Bay and the surrounds. The Tides Restaurant looks outdated but the restaurant is better than it looks, and has amazing views. And the market in that building is definitely worth a visit. The Bayview was very nice as well for dinner. Continental breakfast at the Tides was solid. There was a serious lack of towels and cushioned seats by the pool. There would be 15 people at the pool and only 3 got a cushioned chaise to lay on. Fireplace in room was cozy but made jolting noises through the night as it turned on and off. All in all we had a great stay and would come back again.

The room was clean and spacious. We were on the second floor so the ceiling was vaulted which made it seem larger. The bed was very comfortable. The outdoor pool looked nice and big even though we didn’t use it. You must walk (or drive) across the street for breakfast at their restaurant. The continental breakfast was free but you could order off the menu for a discount. The restaurant is nice with a lot of window seating to overlook the bay. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and he said someone was there 24/7 when I asked about a later arrival.
