Good hotel overall. Clean, good beds, and conveniently located near the airport. Airport shuttle available. However, there were very few shuttle pick up and drop off times available so we ended up having to uber to and from the airport.

Hotels.com states the Hampton has a restaurant and bar. It does not. Both are across the street. The shuttle schedule is weak with the last morning shuttle leaving around 9:15am. I dropped off my rental car the night before and did not see the shuttle at the airport two consecutive times on the schedule. I had to catch the shuttle to the hotel across the street... I will stay elsewhere next time due to mainly the shuttle

This hotel is very convenient if you are OK staying near the airport , there is transportation to Downtown through UBER or LYFT , the included breakfast is a plus but note that the free shuttle only works from 7 to 10AM and from 5 to 9pm so if you arrive or depart outside of that timeframe you will need to manage your transportation needs to and from the airport your self .

The fact that parking is $25 per day, but there's an extra charge each time you go in and out is double charging. This has never happened anywhere before.

The property is definitely older and outdated. Many flights leave the San Francisco airport very early and the shuttle bus doesn't give people enough time to utilize and get there the 2 hours required by the airport. The shuttle bus should be available earlier, so we took an Uber.

Hotels.com website shows “airport shuttle”. Our flight today leaving SFO is @ 1:50 PM. Front desk advised us on arrival that shuttle service stopped at 9:45 AM. Checking Hampton Inn Burlingame website shows no shuttle at all. Message this morning from hotels.com on behalf of Hampton Inn shows shuttle available from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Hampton Inn manager says they expect and all of their customers call the hotel to verify that the shuttle schedule. He was unapologetic and while we were talking @9:10 AM he allowed the last shuttle to leave without us. This is bad service and I expect compensation for the $17 Uber ride we had to take. One key cash is acceptable.

Sticky floors. Someone’s hair all over the bathroom super gross. When I checked in the lady at the front was super rude. When checking out same lady said I was all set but I asked about parking I haven’t been charged she pointed outside and said go pay there. I was confused. Better explanation of breakfast and parking would be appreciated. Not to mention a notice ahead of booking about the amount of construction around the entire building would have been helpful as well.

There is a huge structure being built right next door, unfortunately I did not realize that before booking the hotel. The hotel itself is very conveniently located only 5 min drive from the San Francisco Airport. Worrying about missing your alarm? Dont worry, you will be woken up bright and early by the construction crews with jack hammers and saws!

Clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. LOVE that right across the street is the long, bayside walking-running path. Near the airport, but worth the occasional plane noise. Excellent hot breakfast and convenient free airport shuttle.

Terrific hotel, close to the airport with gated (unattended) parking. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice big bathroom and good water pressure and temperature for bath or shower. Good self-serve breakfast included. We would have used their airport shuttle but the hours of operation were a little bit limited. I would definitely stay here again should I need something near SFO.

Good stay, clean, courteous staff, on time airport shuttle. The only downside was the noise from the aircraft taking off, especially late evening when trying to sleep. Seemed like they were taking off from the parking lot next door and it was hard to rest, so bring ear plugs. Other than that, not sure why all the bad reviews.

The property is nice and the front desk employee extremely polite and helpful. Airport shuttle service was not easy from the airport (we ultimately took a cab). Calling to confirm whether the end time of the shuttle meant stopping at the airport or the hotel led to frustration as no staff or operator answered calls.

The front desk lady was very helpful but seemed like her manager left her with no help. The room keys weren’t working so we were walked to our room. We walked into our room with the beds not made a bag of trash left in the room and clearly not cleaned or was still occupied. She then apologized and walked us to a different room with someone in there. The third room was clean and ready for us but the front desk lady seemed overwhelmed and was not informed what was gong on. Wasn’t her fault she handled it professionally but this should have never happened. The room we finally stayed in was quite clean and was good for our short stay maybe don’t leave your workers with no communication

Front desk would not connect me to my wife. WiFi in the room was not working so she could not call me and I was anxious to get through after she missed her flight and was diverted through the US. It should be pointed out that the reservation was in my name. The front desk person clearly showed zero interest in helping me. I just wanted to see if she made it safe and sound. Are we really at the point when there is no willingness to help?

The staff member that was there when we arrived was not interested in helping us with anything. We needed an airport shuttle but told us we would have to go at 9:15 and our flight was at 2. I asked if she could arrange a different time for us with the driver and are said no. Also she wouldn’t give us any water or snacks on checkin since we are Hilton honor members. She says since we booked the rooms through Expedia she couldn’t give us any. We stay in Hampton inns all the time but will never be returning to that one

Fair prices, Friendly staff, clean, quiet, updated rooms, Free parking, buffet breakfast in the morning. All with a beautiful walking path across the street on the shore of the Bay, where you can watch planes land and takeoff from SFO as you walk. What's not to love?

We were disappointed in our stay for a variety of reasons. The Hotels.com site promised airport shuttle...and the shuttle only started at 4:00 pm which was later than we arrived, so we had to take a taxi for $25+. The hotel was "tired", typically the beds at Hampton Inns are very comfortable, but not here. The air conditioner only worked sporadically, and was a very noisy hotel (outside noises). Overall, very disappointed based on Hotels.com ratings and reviews.

Great location near the airport, next to the Bay. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the water while watching flights land. Parking was easy, the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

The hotel was way too warm in the lobbies etc. the breakfast was sub standard and gross. The parking fees are way too expensive for someone staying in the hotel. The room was small and bed was extremely uncomfortable. The decor looked cheap. It was overall disappointing.

I like Hampton Inns because of their consistency. Of my stays, this one was fine, although possibly the worst. Building had been remodeled but shower curtain was stained and tub in not great condition. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn fare, but clearly the person cooking did not to the best job-things were overcooked.
