The room at night was cold, and I think the air conditioning didn’t work properly. The gym was decent, but it lacked grips for using machines for triceps and biceps. Breakfast was of good quality, but it could have been more varied; for four days, we had the same options every day. The dining area for breakfast was very small with minimal tables available for the demand. Housekeeping was not daily which we didnt have a problem with, but when requested at the front desk after a couple of days, seemed an inconvenience for the staff to organise. Good laundry facilities and currently being renovated to modernise rooms.

However, one of the two beds squeaked loudly with every movement, and being in room 354 near the stairwell made it a bit noisy at times. I could even feel the wall shake slightly when someone in the next room got into their bed, likely because the bed frames are mounted to the wall. It woke me up a couple of times during the night.The breakfast had a great selection! I especially liked the waffles and boiled eggs. Room service was friendly and quick to deliver extra pillows.

I know your hotel is aging as you had to replace the tub's faucet handle. The door dangerously sticks both coming in or going out. Your ice machine on the ground floor does not work and the one on the second floor is out of the way! Also there was no ice bucket available.

Comfortable, decent amenities, and pretty good breakfast offering both warm and continental offerings (cuts off at 9:30!) Parking can be tight if you return to room after 10pm due to heavy use by contractors and their trucks. Staff were very friendly and helped get a room away from the freeway 5 noise.

Very conveniently located, right off the 805 next to a Denny's. Checked in right away, staff was very friendly. Room was priced very appropriately, comfortable and with the amenities we needed. Nice bathroom, decent shower. Television programming left a lot to be desired, though. And the television was way too small for the room. We did encounter a couple of roaches walking on top of the refrigerator near the microwave, which really did not please us. Understanding that they do come out during the warm weather, we did report it to the front desk. We appreciated their response and made a note to take care of it going forward. John at the front desk was terrific. If necessary to book another hotel in the near future in this particular area, I would consider this once again.

The rooms were immaculate. You could tell that they are newly remodeled and it was very nice inside. The pillows and the bed were very very comfortable at night time we decided to go to Denny’s next-door for dinner and we noticed a lot of cockroaches in the parking lot at the moment, we didn’t think much of it because we didn’t see any inside the room, our room was the first floor in the back area. In the morning after we woke up, we found two cockroaches inside. It was gross! And to top it off, my daughter got extremely scared. She does not Like cockroaches at all. A couple minutes later, I heard the cleaning lady and the room next-door. I went out to talk to her to tell her what we saw although she was being careful with her words she knew exactly what type of roaches we found in the room and said that they come from the outside, not the inside of the hotel room, she also told me to tell the front desk . I did tell the people in the front when checking out, bit they seemed to ignore me. They weren’t rude but they were dismissive. It is the first time I stay at a hotel and see roaches.

Construction was happening in the three rooms beside us so we woke up to that. There was dust on some of the surfaces that I would think are used often. Shower head was corroded and floor was very dirty!

Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Love the fact that this place is pet friendly. Truly accommodating to one’s pets. The only down side is that the carpets are not the cleanest, being a pet friendly place it should have some other type of flooring and not carpet.

I got one of the remodeled rooms which does make it look nice but they can at least mop the floors. I noticed my white socks were extremely black from walking around and I check google reviews and I guess I wasn’t the only one. Other than that nice room, great staff and service.

The rooms were musty, smelled moldy, asbestos ceilings, power went out they were not prepared not accommodating,no updates, no empathy, still charged the day worst night sleep ever, worst customer experience ever, homeless taking all the ice, no security, gangster's walking around with no shirt's durags, I busted a guy claiming to be doordash pulling on all the doors looking for an open one! Super disappointed, if you need just a bed, beds we're okay but who ever cleaned my room did do an amazing job!

The property is fine. When I first try to register or check in, I was told I have to pay an extra $30 because I was one and a half hour early as in before 3 o’clock. That is after driving almost 4 hours to get here. I have never experienced this before and resent it. I chose not to pay the $30 and left only to come back after 3 o’clock. From that point on everything was fine.

Paid for late check out at 3pm because I had to work till 2 and our house was tented and not able to go in until 2 so I had my 78 mother in the room until I could get there to load her cat in the carrier and help her with her walker. They entered her room even with a do not disturb sign and a 3pm check out at 2pm. They told her she had to leave that the room was booked already. She can barely walk let alone handle a cat. She sustained major injuries and when I arrived was very upset and crying. When I went to front desk after I helped her to the car and asked why they even went to her room at 2 when I paod till 3. They said is was a damn miscommunication. The manager was there and no one could explain why this happened. I was in the lobby at 2:30 and asked my check out time and he said 3pm. I said it is 2:30 now, why was she asked to leave the room... Once again the best answer was sorry miscommunication. My 78 year old mother also sustained bruises from falling onto a chair with wooden arms

Stuff was horrible, specially a young man. They said they’d call when our room was ready, never did. However, we get there at 2:30 and they are checking in multiple people, though they had just told me on the phone a little while earlier that they had no clean rooms available. We finally check in get to our room only to find out the key doesn’t work. Someone from inside open the door and it was housekeeping that was just starting to clean the room. She said the room was not ready and wouldn’t be for a while still. I went back to the front desk and they said they accidentally gave me that room and had to reassign a new room. What a pain of so much back-and-forth.

It depends what side of the building you are assigned, it’s noisy by the freeway 805 side. The convineint stores, gas & dining is close by. The morning breakfast is great & the facility is nice & clean. Just don’t like the freeway side.

We requested for a room without carpeting. It was very clean, smelled clean, quiet, nice bathroom with toiletries rack in the shower, strong water- no long wait for water to warm, comfortable bed and clean pillows and sheets, has microwave, tv, iron and board, and hair dryer. Free continental breakfast with waffles, sausage and egg muffins, cereals, variety of breads, pastries, fruits, and yogurt, coffee and fruit juice. Staff were courteous, helpful, and spoke clearly. This is the only place we go to every time we visit San Diego.

I stayed here for three nights and unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. When I called ahead, I asked about a military discount. The lady on the phone said she didn’t know, but offered to book my stay and told me to ask at the front desk when I arrived. During my stay, I had to request clean towels, washcloths, and extra soap, as the ones provided were very minimal 2 when there were 4 of us. The breakfast was a nice touch, but the options were very limited basically just waffles or a small pre-packaged sandwich. Overall, the hotel didn’t meet my expectations.

We stayed for six nights in La Quinta Inn, Chula Vista and it was really good. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The breakfast was good with vegetarian options. The hotel staff was helpful and the customer service was good. The free parking facility attracted us to this hotel. And we were not disappointed. Vegetarian breakfast options: hot oat meal (self prepared in the microwave oven), bagels, raisin bread, muffins, toast, cream cheese, butter, hot sauce, picante sauce (I recommend you try this), waffles, coffee, juices For those who eat eggs: boiled eggs, egg cheese breakfast sandwich on a muffin.
