Check-in was easy but the cleanliness of the room was not at a standard level, the staff were dismissive and went into my room unasked and stole a few of my wife's clothing. The hotel is in very sketchy part of San Diego.

Gambled on an unknown hotel name but this was the closest to the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater that I could find online, and we won! It is a family owned boutique hotel with upscale decor and secured parking (no charge). Our room was small but well appointed with real glasses and Nespresso cups, not plastic. Bed was not as comfortable as we're used to. Bed and bath linens were very nice though. If we had stayed more than one night after the concert, we would have been near restaurants both at the Marina and on Broadway. Free breakfast was included with our room, served to us on plates and with flatware - no paper plates here! We were surprised a the low cost and would stay here again.

Room condition was great, so was breakfast and snacks and coffee. WiFi issues persisted during stay though.

Room was clean but also very tiny. The shower had great water pressure but the drain clogged up pretty fast. So taking a long shower, you’d be flooding the bathroom. The shower also dripped non stop. Wasn’t aware that the bathroom was just frosted glass with a curtain for the toilet privacy. The toilet had to be held down to be fully flushed. The ac didn’t work the first night we were there until we talked to the front desk about it. But then it also wouldn’t turn off so we just had to turn it up when we left. Not every room included breakfast. If you didn’t pay for breakfast, you only received coffee/water, a pack of cookies, and a very small waxy apple. The back parking was not secure at all. The arm just stayed up at all times so there literally was no point of it. The front one needed your door key for access. Overall, I’m not sure if I would exactly stay here again for longer than a single night just for the lack of amenities.
