The front desk and breakfast staff were very pleasant, however my first impression and lasting impression overall was the lack of maintenance. The weather stripping on the sliding entry door was flapping in the breeze. Then coming into our room, I noticed spots on the sofa table and one bedside table. At first I thought they were stuck on permanently, but I was able to clean them off with a wash cloth and a little elbow grease. Next I found that the black out shade was broken. Instead of a pulley chain it had been rolled up and jimmied into the window frame. At bedtime it had to be unrolled then re-rolled in the morning. The in-room coffee maker also did not work. The property advertised a lobby bar, however when, at 5 PM, I asked when it opened, the front desk receptionist said, “Whenever the bar tender shows up.” As it turns out, upon returning from dinner at 8:30 it became apparent that no bartender showed up. For the price, this hotel was a poor value and I would not choose it in the future.

However, since there was an emergency at 12 am (the fire alarm went off for several hours due to a truck hitting the sprinkler system), all guests were moved to another hotel. During this event, staff did not communicate with us what was going on, what the plans were, etc. Guests had to ask them. We were also told our stays would be comensated, but that has yet to happen.

It is a fine place to stay overnight. Green Hills is a great place with plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotels elevator was broken for the entirety of the stay and the restaurant/bar was never really open. It was adequate but not great. There could be better options around the area.

Great place to stay with decently priced rates. It is a lil distance from downtown. Ubers and Uber eats came to the hotel with ease. You are around everything and everything you are not close to is like 30 min drive, bc of traffic not distance. The hotel staff is nice. My only problem with the hotel is charging 30 DOLLARS FOR PARKING!! Check is was simple and easy. As well as check out. Staff was welcoming. My room was spacious for me. (Single person for a weekend get away) but year bump that parking feee!! Cuz it is Nashville park over by the mall.

I have to say that the Hyaat Place is a lovely hotel. Clean rooms and bathroom, nice lobby, great staff, great breakfast. The reason for the low rating is because no where on the booking page, no where on their website does it say anything about a $30 per night parking fee, so to get there and see a sign that says $30 per night parking is outrageous. Especially given the fact that the hotel is no where near downtown where they do charge ridiculous parking fees everywhere you go. Had I known of the parking fees, I might have stayed there or maybe I would have looked for somewhere closer to downtown. I just feel this is a greedy way to get in on the outlandish parking fees that go on in the area. I was not happy about this at all. It will likely keep me from staying there again.

Excellent place! Parking spaces too small so there are 3 spaces but 1 could only fit comfortably because the boulders were too big. The gate for the parking garage takes 20 min to open if it even opens then so I had to call the front to open so we could park. Other than that the place is excellent and beautiful and very cost effective

The staff is phenomenal. There was a mix up with my reservation and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of my children and I. The breakfast was sufficient. Guest were not so kind and spilled beverages in the elevator that remained for more than 12 hours. Trash by the elevators on floor 3 remained in an overflow condition with dishes on a hall table also for over 12 hours. I wish guest would be more kind but perhaps this occurred between staff shift change. Other than that, I enjoyed my staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will stay here for future visits.

No security or staff hardly at the front desk, no house keeping. Housekeeping is only provided after the second day but when we asked the third day no one ever showed up until the last day of our stay. Nice staff. Breakfast was ok. No one ever at the bar. Two waters a day was cool. Only one toilet paper as provided for four of us, and when they finally cleaned they only stocked one. Not too far from downtown. Shopping area and eateries. Clean and nice hotel.

The staff member that checked us in was very polite and helpful. The condition of the hotel is good and overall clean… however… one of the glasses in our room had a lipstick print around the rim and there were j]hairs on the floor of our bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were not aware our room is not cleaned everyday until we called and asked for more towels. Also, our floor was full of trash in the hallway all day. The trash can by the elevators never got changed. Trash was on top of the cans. The bar was convenient and we loved the staff! I think the manager ran the bar.

No microwave in the room. We had a infant and needed to warm up her water and couldn't. Far too pricy for what's offered. Bed is nice. Room is ok. Breakfast was typical. No different than a super 8. Coffee is not good and they only offer the half n half creamer. No flavored creamers. Crap cheap hotels have better coffee and creamer.

The hotel seemed relatively new, with very helpful staff and a nice location. Three complaints: 1. No room-darkening blinds, so the sun woke me both mornings at 5:45/6 am. 2. The rooms aren’t carpeted, which at first we liked, until we could hear every little tiptoe from the person above us. 3. The $30 per night parking charge seems completely egregious. This is not downtown Chicago. I was aware of the charge before booking, but still dismayed to see how unnecessary it seemed once we arrived.

The suite was very nice. The sitting area offered excellent separation from the bed area and everything was very tidy. One of the powered blinds didn’t function this however didn’t detract from the overall quality of the hotel. The free breakfast was adequate but nothing special and certainly not the worst I’ve ever been served.

Property looked great. Nice contemporary urban hotel. Front desk staff were excellent and tried their best to help with issues. Problem was that follow through was often lacking. Staff sent to fix problems (telephone, fridge, heat & blinds not working, tub stained etc) were largely unable to do so and didn't follow up. So, in short, nice property. Nice people. Nice property. But property management and maintenance lacking. Too bad.

Great hotel in a nice area. They have some kinks that need to be worked out, but overall a great new hotel (Parking gate wouldn’t work properly and issues with the thermostat in the room). Nice, new spacious rooms. Highly recommend.

A great location and a lovely set up. Room was comfortable, but the shades were broken. They did make us aware of this before we checked in and it didn't bother us. I was glad they told us. The room was set up nicely, the bathroom was spacious and clean. Staff is great, love the location. I'd definitely stay again!

We stayed with our 2 kids for a weekend in Nashville. The staff was so kind and helpful. Shyrra, I believe her name was, especially. There was always free popcorn and water up front, cookies on our last day. The included breakfast was fairly good, lasting until 10 on the weekends. I was also able to get condiments from someone after hours for our takeout. Our 2 queen bed/pullout room with side sectional area was spacious. The bathroom offers full-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in the shower. The airport was less than 20 minutes away, and Greenhills mall is two turns up the street. I was able to just charge things to our room without having to pay each time for the snacks, which was nice. This hotel is rated 4.8 on trip advisor, but 3.9 on google. So don't be fooled by that. We loved staying there. My only issue I find is the pay parking, which I feel should be free because you pay to stay there. But that seems to be the norm these days. However, it is on site and covered. Shyrra helped us get half off by joining the rewards program. The building is actually lovely, with lots of common areas and light. I believe we will definitely be staying there next time we hit town. Highly recommended. ☺️

They had trouble getting us checked in because of slow technology, but the staff was so accommodating and tried to get it fixed as soon as possible and even offered us free beverages at the bar or snack shop while we waited. Very cozy, quiet, and chill place especially compared to a lot of hotels in Nashville. Plus it was located so close to all of our favorite spots in Green Hills.

Customer service was unlike any other Hyatt Place I’ve been. We were unable to check in at check in time and were given unclear explanations. We were then given unexpected parking fees later that night. Staff was unapologetic, poorly communicative and unsupportive. I will not book here again from the check in experience alone. I was excited for a new book and deeply let down.

A nice property with potential, but it could use a few upgrades to customer service. The breakfast experience is bland and below basic standards for a Hyatt brand. Very little option with the food choice. Even the staff did not vouch for the food they were serving. The hotel is operating on limited staff. The same person manages the front desk, bar area and housekeeping during the evening/night shift.

We were a late check in and our room wasn’t ready due to being short staffed. We agreed to wait in the lobby for about twenty minutes to have our room ready. Well, instead, they gave us 2 king rooms and no additional charge! AND they comped our parking AND gave us two complimentary drinks/snacks from either the bar or little snack area. That was for both nights we stayed! They were so friendly!! Very nice and clean hotel!

Room was excellent. Hyatt needs to school their employees on ADA laws. I have fibromyalgia and find it hard to stand in the shower at times. I needed a room with a bath seat. He looked at me said “Oh, you’re down for an ADA room but do you really need it”? I was furious. Some disabilities can’t be seen. With fibromyalgia, one minute I can be find and then the next minute, I could have a flare. I was just taken aback by his comment.

We planned a quick trip to Nashville to see good friends and wanted to avoid the downtown Nashville scene. Staying at this Hyatt Property in Green Hills was PERFECT! Located off Hillsboro Road and situated behind the Green Hills Mall this new hotel offered the convenience of proximity of friends, great coffee shops (Hello, Frothy Monkey!), dining options in a lovely & QUIET setting. Getting in & out of Nashville via 440 was a bonus! We’ll be back!

A great place to stay for a couple of days. It’s a hike the the Nashville party scene, but a quick uber to 12South and other trendy neighborhoods. Very clean and Starbucks within walking distance. Pro tip, the closest one is actually in the Kroger!

This is our second stay and have found it to be an extremely pleasant place to stay. Very clean and fresh feeling. The staff is friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was great, totally unlike typical hotel breakfasts.

It is a fine place to stay overnight. Green Hills is a great place with plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotels elevator was broken for the entirety of the stay and the restaurant/bar was never really open. It was adequate but not great. There could be better options around the area.

The stay was for an overnight business trip. This hotel was chosen not only for proximity to the meeting location but also that there was a restaurant and bar (great for before the meeting to work and grab a bite, and after the meeting to be able to have some dinner and a drink). The restaurant was not open upon my arrival in mid-afternoon, nor was it open when I returned from my meeting, with the plan to have dinner. Additionally the parking is difficult and inconvenient. Wishing now I had chosen another hotel. This was too frustrating.

We have enjoyed Hyatt Place in the past and were excited to find a well priced room on a busy weekend in Nashville. The hotel was hard to find because the sign is hard to see. The parking is easy, once you navigate the odd lot and unlabeled garage. We needed an extra blanket for the pull out bed and we were told no, then later one appeared at our door. At breakfast the eggs and potatoes were cold, and the tables were not being cleaned as people left.

A clean room with a king-size bed and a sofa separated from the bed, a desk, good WiFI connection, a well-ordered bathroom with what you needed. The free breakfast met or exceeded my expectations. There was a charge for parking, which was fine although I'm not sure it was absolutely necessary. It has a great location in Green Hills - seems to be convenient to most everywhere you want to access. I had stayed previously and came back, so that tells you it was a very good stay.
