The staff were wonderful. I was staying in the area for a surgery. I asked for a late checkout because I had a post-op appt that morning and the staff were VERY helpful and understanding with the time. I had stayed at another nearby hotel a couple weeks prior for the first surgery and that hotel wouldn’t even give me a half hour extension. Best Western however was very accommodating. The room was very clean. They had two bottles of water in the room, a nice selection of bathroom accessories, and their luggage cart moved effortless (so many hotels have such bad wheels on the cart that one has to be an Olympic wrestler to move it). I would definitely give them way more than five stars if I could.

Breakfast was not so good. They are a bit over the top with checking names and room numbers and don’t you dare try to leave with even a piece of toast. Someone is there at all times watching and you can’t serve yourself the “eggs”, greasy oily potatoes and the (I think it was) sausage. It was bare bones. The rooms are spacious, clean. Props to having real coffee cups and glass tumblers in the room. Not paper. The work out room was tiny and crowded with half working old machines. The elliptical was ancient and doesn’t work. No free weights. It was weird. The hot tub needs a huge scrub! Lots of years of dirt built up around the sides. But they did just have a new coffee machine installed and that was AMAZING! so bonus for that! Fab lattes and espressos from it! Good location. Just needs a better breakfast. And not made to feel watched at all times while choking it down. The girl in there was bothersome.
