Staff was nice. In room coffee provided a well as coffee and tea in the lobby. No decaf in the lobby except at breakfast. 20 minutes walk to the beach and pier, and CVS next door. We used the pool and hot tub too, which was great. Breakfast had hot and cold options which we enjoyed. Would stay again. Very clean facilities.

The room was clean and comfortable the blackout curtain was a Godsend for the bright signage lighting on the property next door. The property is older could use a refreshing being a beach city, I was a little disappointed that it was so unimpressive and the jacuzzi area needs a privacy screen/curtain for privacy from the public walking the public sidewalk especially at night.

Clean room. Nice gym and swimming pool. The breakfast was fine and more than enough. Besides the location was great and only a 15 minutes walk from Hermosa beach and there are many restaurants close to the hotel.

Only issue was the condition of the jacuzzi, as it seems like the surface of it has been discolored from chemical applications. Elevators were a bit slow, but that's it really.

The bed was quite comfy and the room was a nice size. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. It’s about 6 blocks to the beach and has ample free parking, which is hard to find in this area. The hotel does sit right on PCH so you can hear traffic during the day, but it was quiet enough at night. It was a bit pricey for Holiday Inn Express, but that’s to be expected in this area. The breakfast had plenty to choose from (but was the same every day). There are several places to eat right on PCH that are walking distance.

a wonderful, nicely remodeled hotel. everything was squeaky clean. all the amenities are well taken care of. the breakfast has a great selection, is substantial and very tasty. ...and of course the location is hard to beat. walking distance to 2 different beaches and piers. awesome selection of nearby restaurants too. the staff is very friendly and helpful. a great place to stay!

Found a lot of hairs in the bathroom floor the shower. The linen look like it wasn’t changed. Tried using the pool and Jacuzzi, but Jacuzzi was dirty.

The hotel is in a good location - about 20 minutes from the airport and a brisk 10 minute walk to the beach. Parking is included, with some covered parking and a number of electric charging stations. Our room was clean and spacious, with two comfortable double beds, a chaise lounge, desk, microwave, and dorm fridge. Amenities included an outdoor enclosed pool and hot tub, small work out room and a complimentary breakfast. What could be improved are the fairly small tv, slooow internet speed, non working bath room fan, and they really need some gluten free bread/pastries for breakfast options.

Room wa a bit dark. Remote control curtains were broke. I spent about 1/2 hour in it and got it working at least to close it. Made the room dark.

Excellent customer service from the front desk to housekeeping and the breakfast hosts. Beautifully renovated and so comfortable. Affordable for the area and a quick drive to great restaurants, cute shops and the beach. We will be back!

Whoever checked us in was the best. He was friendly and took time to answer all of our questions and sign us up for points. The online photos don’t do this hotel justice. It’s much nicer than it looks and super clean and newly remodeled.

Stayed here for 3 nights for work before Memorial weekend. The location wasn’t ideal for my work, having to commute to/from downtown LA and West Hollywood, LA traffic is no fun and Uber can get expensive. However, this is a great place to stay if you come for Cali’s sun and beach. It’s walkable to nice beaches and there are some great dining options nearby. Not a fancy hotel by any means but room is big, clean, quiet, safe, has microwave and fridge.. all the convenience you need for a great price you pay.

This is my third time to stay at this hotel. It is the perfect location. Within a 2 block or so, you are right on the beach. The walk in either direction is lovely. The morning breakfast is quite good. If you forgot or need anything, CVS is right next door. Also, helps if you need some cash without the fees. Rooms are clean. Felt safe. The entire staff staff is so kind and accommodating! I stayed in a room on the third floor at the end of hall and the view of the sunset was beautiful! Hopefully, will return next year and definitely will stay again...

Wow! After staying on off-site Disneyland hotel, this was heaven! Quiet, new furniture, luxurious sheets, mattress and pillows, new bathroom shower etc. Breakfast was fantastic with crisp bacon, eggs, cheese omelet, fresh oatmeal with toppings, turkey sausage patty plus the usual pastries, breads, juices, coffee and yogurt. The grandkids loved the pancake machine that has a side window to view cooking. We also recommend restaurant about 10 min away called Rock and Beers for rock music and beer lovers. Food was great too.

The hotel was nice. The free breakfast was very impressive. They don't skimp at all. The breakfast hours end at 9:30am, and they were still restocking it at 9:15am. They even clean your room every morning, which is something you don't see too often anymore. The staff was very attentive and proactive. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast options are horrible.... - poor quality bread with poor selections - scrambled eggs so dry they crumble to pieces on touch - same breakfast day after day...no change ups I stay in several hotels in the area week after week.... worst breakfast by far. Best breakfast is at Best Western hotels.
