My wife and I stayed for two nights visiting our daughter at LMU. We love Hermosa beach area and H2O did not disappoint! Front desk staff was excellent! Easy to park and one of the cheapest on site parking around. The room was fresh with a sunny balcony overlooking the main area of Hermosa. We will definitely be back!!

It was a great place. Extremely clean. Staff were kind, polite, helpful. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean and appeared brand new. The only knock was that the Tesla charger didn’t work, but there are chargers at Vons which is less than a mile away. Great place and excellent location.

We've stayed in this area a few times for beach volleyball tournaments and this was by far the best. The parking was so easy and we were able to stay after checkout which was helpful due to the tournament going on longer the last day. We were greeted with friendly staff who accommodated our few requests. I will be booking this hotel again next time. Thank you!

Staff was helpful and friendly. Appreciated the ADA room since one of us is a wheelchair user; accessible shower and elevator worked well. Hotel was quiet and clean. Small parking area but we never had a problem finding a space. Best thing is the close proximity to the Strand to walk by the beach and shortly to the pier, shops, restaurants, and the Comedy & Magic Club.

I was shown to a room that hadn’t been made up. A do not disturb sign was hanging from the door. The next room I was shown had long, dark hairs in the bed as well as stained sheets. When I brought this up at the front desk I was told house keeping had left for the day. After being shown 2 dirty rooms and no house keeping on property I decided to leave and I am still fighting to get my money back for the 3 nights I booked. I have never experienced such awful service before.

Good location and close to beach and restaurants. We got there early and they were able to give us an early check in. Only complaint is we never got our room cleaned while we were there. We ran out of tissue and amenities. We even left our clean our room sign on the door. They provided bottle water and a basic breakfast.

A little hotel in a very good area. The hotel is awesome, and the location cannot be better. Staff is the best. In my case there where two bad notes, one pillowcase had a very nasty stain, they took care of it, but it shouldn't be there... And breakfast is more like a little snack. But as I said, the pros of the place and the staff overwrote those issues.

The location was perfect and having on site parking was a great surprise. The room was very clean and the balcony was a bonus. The Nespresso machine was a wonderful surprise. We had to ask for extra towels and the cream and sugar for coffee was not stocked. Overall it was a perfect room for our much needed getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at H2O the weekend before July 4th. A little disappointed that the upstairs patio was closed and there really wasn’t much to the bar in the lobby. Our room was clean and there was plenty of room. Would have liked drawers for our clothes and the bathroom lighting was quite dim for my liking. We rented E bikes for a 26 mile ride round trip and unfortunately one of our bikes was not fully charged. I had to do a lot of peddling ( some of it uphill)! Nonetheless, we enjoyed our ride! The excitement and adrenaline kept us going! They did credit the bike rental. Loved how close we were to the beach and restaurants/ shops on the pier. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel itself is beautiful, it is also very close walk to the beach, the pier and restaurants. There is a beach market right next door which is great for any last minute things you need. The staff including the front desk and the MANAGER were not great. They would not accommodate a benefit that they promised/promoted even after showing proof that it was tied to my reservation. It was more of a sorry, can't help attitude rather then let me see what I can do approach. The walls were also fairly thin so everytime people walked around above it us it sounded like they were coming through the floor. It was a new hotel so amenities and overall vibe was great, just a few things that they could improve on.

Modern hotel with great location near restaurants, beach and pier. Comfortable bed. Updated clean room and bathroom. Could have used caffeinated Nespresso instead of all decaf. Also, room had no balcony or window opening provision. Other than that, nice place.

We were in Hermosa for a volleyball tournament and the location was perfect. So close to the beach courts and easy access to all the restaurants around Hermosa Beach. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. The room size was great and the balcony was awesome for some extra square footage. Rooms were clean and fresh. We are coming back in a week to stay again!

This is the newest hotel in the area, close to the beach, so it was very clean. Parking was easy, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. However, this was the WORST check in experience and Ive stayed in 1 star hotels in very small cities. The person working the front desk should not be in hospitality, extremely unhelpful, rude and lacked average customer service skills. My stay was nonrefundable and the hotel is pricey, if that wasn't the case, I would have walked out and gone somewhere else because of her unfriendly nature and "could careless" attitude. Life is stressful enough, checking into a hotel for vacation should not be.

Thank you for having a breakfast every morning to start our days. It was super convenient and found it be be simple but fufilling. I would not hesitate to stay again and again.

I would not hesitate to stay here again. Everything about this hotel was perfect from check in to check out. Tyrone at the front desk went above and beyond in giving us tips and information about the area and the room and bed was very comfortable and had all the amenities you'd want.

Hotel is optimally located to the Hermosa Beach Pier and its bars and restaurants. 1 block from the strand for walking, biking and skateboarding. Convenience store, Starbucks and restaurants less than 2 minute walk. Best location.

My issue is with Expedia more than the Hotel H2O Hermosa. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights 6 months in advance only to arrive on the day with nothing reserved- thanks Expedia! Luckily the hotel had 2 rooms for the first night but we were on our own for the second night and had to find another hotel. They advertise a continental breakfast which equates to gas station pastries, granola bars and cereal with no milk. The staff were sweet though, but the hotel is a disappointment. A positive is that it’s really close to the beach but there are a lot of other hotels close by to chose from.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and decorated very nicely. There was a continental breakfast every morning until 11:30am. The Strand and many restaurants were steps away. My only minor request would be to enhance the lighting in the bathroom. I will definitely be staying in the Hermosa Beach H2O again!

Excellent!! I highly recommend this property. The male manager is top level - very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, very clean, great gym & good breakfast. Love the assortment of beverages in rooms. The lobby could be a little tidier, but small detail. Great place!!
