Older hotel. Rooms were fairly spacious and well equipped. Staff was attentive and helpful. Special recommendations to Nick. Hot tub was in need of repair with no jets. Breakfast was fairly standard but was satisfying. Underground parking is a plus when there is lots of snow. Hotel was a good convenient base for skiing at Mammoth and the free shuttle was only steps away.

Staff were wonderful and friendly. The morning staff at breakfast were very attentive and ensured that food was always replenished. My only concern was the jacuzzi. The flooring was uneven and I believe broken. My sister and nephew cut their feet as they were walking into the pool.

I’ve stayed here now 6-7 times and always enjoy it. Cant be the location, clean rooms, and massive indoor hot tub. But they need to do something about the plumbing, because the last few stays have had issues with the toilet not flushing well enough and the water pressure is terrible.

The man at the front desk was very kind. However the state of the hotel was deplorable. There was old coffee caked onto the floor board. There was a shoe print on my bed sheet. The dust in the room left me congested. There was so much dust that I ran my finger over the baseboard and a clear line could be seen through it. The walls had plaster holes and the bathroom door had remnants of a liquid on it. There was blood and boogers on the wall in the bathroom. It’s too bad, the hotel had good reviews but it was beyond acceptable in terms of cleanliness.

No-one was working the front desk when we arrived to check in….not for 25 minutes. Room floor was dirty (grit could be felt under bare foot), long black hairs in bathroom (I have short grey hair). Breakfast was excellent!

Hotel is conveniently located right on main st. Across the street is the stop for the free shuttle service that will take you up the mountain. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The village is also a 10 minute or so walk from the hotel. I rated the hotel low for cleanliness because there was lots of long hair strands on the floor in the bathroom. The heater is an older gas type heater, works ok but takes a long time to feel a noticeable change in room temp. Could be a problem if you are a person that is always on the colder side. Breakfast was your typical breakfast, waffles, eggs, hash browns.

Had a room with 2 queen beds. Good: Decent sized room with a microwave and a mini fridge. Perfect location in the middle of the village. Free shuttle bus station was just cross the street. Nice view of the city street from upstairs room. We liked the fact that the dining room was empty except breakfast hours. We pretty much had our lunch/dinner and played board game there and had the entire dining area to ourselves. Breakfast is included. It's decent for the fact it's free. The lady was keep restocking the food and was attentive. Jacuzzi was nice. It was inside but had vent on the roof so was refreshing. Water temperature could be a little bit hotter but was acceptable. Water/coffee was offered in the main lobby 24/7. Bad: Room was DIRTY! Floor was dusty. My socks turned black after a few steps in the room without shoes on. Bathroom had some unknown fibers and paper pieces in the corner. Bathroom sink faucet was not mounted well and loose. Water pressure was really low. On the window frame, there was broken CO2 detector that wouldn't even turn on but just sitting. There was no central heater. There was an extremely disgusting looking space heater in the corner but was working ok. Towels were thin and rough. Bed was making creaking sound every time i turned so I minimized movement during the night. Bed was on the stiff side but was OK. TV remote's power button didn't work so I had to manually turn on/off the TV then use the remote to change channel.

Property need a major repair, everything is old and falling apart, rooms are clean but very old. I don't know how they have such a high rating. Front desk is almost never available. Breakfast is good though.

Not sure where to start. The room is nice, but very dated. Only a gas heater and no AC, so the room was always stuffy because there is no outside ventilation. When we opened the window, it got stuck and was very difficult to close, The room did have two standing fans. No fan in the bathroom, so using the bathroom resulted in very embarrassing moments for the three of us sharing the room. TV did not work because it had a parental lock, and the staff could not swap out the TV because it was a Saturday evening. The breakfast was good, staff are nice and helpful, but the stay would have been much more enjoyable if the room had been better.

Good location, but the property is bit old. The flooring of the room was of the poor quality and one can feel the gaps between the plywood that looked like coming out. The bathroom was a bit tiny and exhaust wasn't working. Seems the hotel requires some maintenance.

Clean hotel in a good location. It's Mammoth, so everything is old and tired. No A/C. Tricky to use TV with no instructions. Shower was delaminating and looked terrible but worked OK (other than the hot water thing). No housekeeping during your stay unless you ask for it, so save your towels. Not much parking in the garage. Good value for the price and acceptable quality, just set your expectations appropriately.

We needed a stopover-to sleep hotel after our 8 hour drive. Staff was pleasant, room was clean. I noticed large fans in the room and thought it was weird. We do a lot of road trips and AC is the only amenity I use when filtering hotels. But I’ve never had to filter that when in California. And we aren’t fancy hotel goers. So sleep was rough because the fans, which were necessary, were incredibly loud. Our TV didn’t work and Wi-Fi and phone service were both very spotty. I used a hair tie to get my phone charger to stay in the outlet. We tried charging another device in the bathroom but that outlet was not working. It was late when we arrived so we weren’t going to try and change rooms. But probably won’t stay again.

Have stayed here in the past and while it's a very convenient location, safe & the beds are comfortable - overall, it's tired and needs upgrades. If you need a crash pad - it's fine, if you're looking for an elevated experience - stay elsewhere. There was a floor fan to circulate air and grout was missing in the shower. The bathroom area looks like they really need to tear it down to studs and start over. The biggest personal issue is the lack of deliberate water pressure for a good shower after a day of hiking.

I made a reservation for three rooms via Expedia and noted that I wanted connecting rooms. My request was not declined. Upon check-in, the lady at the front desk informed me to wait an hour for the connecting rooms, but she mentioned that her shift was ending. Later, a staff member named Brian, who took over, informed me there were no connecting rooms available and placed my party in whatever rooms were vacant. I also requested assistance regarding parking for our Sprinter Van, as it couldn’t fit in their designated parking area. It wasn’t safe to park in the space in front of the facility because the ground was icy, and our snow chain broke while attempting to park. We found a safe parking spot behind the motel, but Brian insisted we couldn’t park there. Instead, we were forced to park across the street at a gas station and pay for overnight parking, even though it was clear that we could have parked safely behind the motel. Brian was very rude and unhelpful throughout the process. I will never book at this Quality Inn motel again. Management should focus on training staff to be more accommodating, helpful, and courteous to customers.

The beds were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was good and filling. The staff were friendly but our TV didn't work and they couldn't fix it so we had to change our room into another room right after we had moved everything into our room. Then our key cards didn't work to get into our room, so we had to have a staff member to let us back into our room and then had to wait for awhile before it was fixed. So we didn't leave our room until we had new card keys. It happens, hopefully they'll get these problems fixed very soon and they renovate the rooms in the near future.

Great hotel, great staff, hotel is located right in the center of Mammoth so makes it easy to walk to restaurants/ bars and stores. You can actually walk down the hotel and rent bikes. Easy access to trolley to get a ride to the upper lakes.

This was a great location in town, can easily walk to the main shops. The staff let us check in early which was extremely helpful since we were needing to get ready for a wedding. The breakfast was well stocked and very well maintained. Felt safe and liked that there was a parking grauge for my car.

I spent 2 weeks skiing and found the in to be in a great location with a bus to the mountain right outside every 20 mins. While the building is a little dated the room was more than spacious and very clean. Bed was perfect and a fridge and microwave topped itoff.

Quality Inn is in the perfect location at Mammoth lakes. We stayed for two days; it was a comfortable and good stay. All the restaurants are near by. Quality inn free continental breakfast is good. I would definitely suggest to stay at this place.

Just stayed here this past weekend Nov 22-24 and honestly was really perfect spot and will come back. Free breakfast every morning and has liquor stores, restaurants and bars literally a few steps away. Free parking in an under garage so we avoided snow or any icing on car. Also shuttle across the street runs every 20 minutes to village and ski resort

Nice location for both ends of mammoth. Walkable to restaurants and trolley and a half mile to the village. Convenient under the building parking. Rooms were pretty average with painted over disrepair. Tub wasn’t clean when we arrived with hair in the drain. Service was terrible!!! No towels in the spa area and the breakfast was miserable all 3 days. Kept running out of cups, milk, peanut butter, waffle batter, juice, coffee, yogurt, etc and no one around to refill anything or tidy up tables. I had to look in cabinets for coffee cups myself. Tables filthy and trash overflowing. Need more people working the breakfast room!
