It was a nice stay. Some recommendations would be… more sets of towels if they are not going to refresh each day, we had to go to office each day to get towels. Also if you book ocean view room, it should be listed that you need to go up 3 flights of stairs.

The room was nice with a newly remodeled bathroom. The stairs are old and cracked/cracking. There were people outside from the business next door which I did not like, not much privacy. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops, nice. The seagulls were loud and droppings everywhere, was afraid every time I walked out that a seagull would poop on me.

The location and grounds were clean, quiet, and easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, we had to park on the street because the lot was full when we returned from a late dinner. I would stay again.

Rooms was large, and clean, it worked for our families. Rooms are not sound proof so you hear neighbors to the side and top of you. Im sure people on the first floor heard us too. My complaint is the fact that they are remodeling rooms and have bathtubs, sinks, etc all along the outside hallways. Some stored in the outside patio area. Because of this there was limited parking. I booked 3 rooms but if I had known this...i would not have stayed here, We would have gone somewhere else for our families mini vacation. Because of construction, i give this place a 4 of of 10.

The Pacific Shore Inn has done a great job being remodel. Nice little place that is quiet and near the embarcadero. Only a few things to take note. No elevators to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors and the ice machine is on the first floor. Lastly no housekeeping if you stay less than 4 days. For me not an issue. For others maybe. Only thing I needed was towels and they took care of it. I can handle my own trash and make my bed. I think for the price it was worth it.

Easy check in and check out. Discovered Hotel was doing construction (remodeling) at site when got there. Big dumpster at the front of hotel and our next door room was being worked on. Everything in our room was new, so that was great. Pretty big room and great location to everything. One of the bed side lights didn't work and the toilet placement was weird. If you're sitting on the toilet your right leg is about an inch away from the wall. There is a nice size deck (with tables and chairs) on the 2nd floor with great view of the Rock.

Had a kitchen however nothing you need for a kitchen. No towels, utensils, dishes. Floors were dirty. Room was near parking lot. No full coverage for widows so never got dark. Also, the parking lot noise was a lot

Cleanest hotel room we have stayed at in a very long time. Front desk employee was super friendly and accommodated us with an early check in without issue. Quiet area, walking distance to a couple coffee shops, numerous restaurants, shops, and about 2 blocks from the Embarcadero. Super fast check in and out. Plenty of parking, AC worked great, and great location in a very nice area of the community. I rely on reviews to base our travel plans around them. I highly recommend this hotel.

It was mentioned that remodeling took place less than a yea ago but my room had several issues. Nothing that made me miserable but should be addressed. Broken blinds, hot and cold water reversed, cracked toilet bowl… and there was quite a bit of hair that wasn’t mine in the shower area.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the big room very much . Our room was very clean but the smell of bleach was way to strong. It smelled like a bottle of bleach had been spilled on the carpet and was very strong throughout the room. Even so we would stay there again probably.

Older property but updated, stayed in room 11, second floor with a beautiful view of Morro Bay. 2 huge bay windows-screened, that open. Comfortable bed, coffee pot with 2 dark roast pods, refrigerator and microwave. Huge flat screen TV with plenty of channels. Had 24 hour antique road show on all night. Slept with windows open and window open in bathroom for excellent cross breeze. Smaller shower but great water pressure and shower head. Room was larger than your average standard room. On a scale of 1-10 I give the room a 9. The VIEW I give a 12 . Located right next door to LEGENDS Bar and Restaurant which has a pool table. Really liked the area, nothing fancy, a talk beach feel

We loved our stay here. It was very quiet and walkable. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. There was plenty of vanity space. The room was quite large. The Smart TV allows you to use your subscriptions. The only downside was our refrigerator was set too cold. It froze our food and there was no dial to adjust it down.

This place was clean and had really comfortable beds. The cottage with three queen beds was perfect for our family of five. We only stayed one night as we were just traveling through the area. The kitchette would have been nice to use had we stayed longer.

The Queen size room was about the size of a one car garage. Bathroom was very small, the shower curtain did not stop the water from wetting the floor. Several window shutters were broken. The room was one of two built above the office. Toilet seat loose. Problem to watch TV as the control does not allow easy use. So bad, we decided to read, rather than deal with the TV.

The location was great and the beds were comfortable, but there was nowhere to sit down in the room other than the beds (we had the three "bedroom" family suite), only one of the sleeping areas had a door that could close and provide any semblance of privacy, the kitchenette didn't have any tools/supplies, there was nothing on the walls, the beds didn't have bedside tables on both sides, some areas felt pretty worn (especially the patio carpet), and there was nowhere to hang anything up (no closet, no bathroom hooks, etc.). Basically, it felt very stark and utilitarian -- if you JUST want a place to crash and sleep, it's probably fine, but it wasn't homey or inviting.

When I booked the room online, the room information on the room i picked it said in the details it was assessable. In which I thought it meant handicap assessable. When I got there to check in i was told it wasn't and i had to contact the property Mangement for that. They gave me a room upstairs, no railing to hold on to, very difficult to get up there because of bad back. Then last night when i came in around 10:30pm after fireworks. My keys won't work. So I had to go to the management ring the night bell, For about 20mins before she came out and gave me new keys. the room was clear, the property/motel rundown and needs attention. I was not Happy!

They only offer room service on the 4th day if you stay like a week. I struggled with making the bed because they did not use a fitted bottom sheet on a king bed. The bottom sheet was all over the place each morning.

Stayed at this property on a Sunday night and was able to check in an hour early. The young lady who checked me in was very pleasant to talk to. She was very accommodating in case I wasn’t pleased with the unit I stayed in. As it turns out, the room was excellent. It was clean, modernly decorated and seemed like it was newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The location of Pacific Shores was ideal as it was in walking distance to numerous businesses and things to do. I would definitely stay at this property again. And the rate I received was perfect.

Ok stay, room was large, bed comfy. It was recently updated but sparsley furnished, window blinds all broken, heat/ac unit did nothing to heat or cool room. There was no service what so ever for a 4 night stay, not even trash pick up or towel exchange.. disappointing.

Daniel checked us in and remembered us from a previous stay. He is friendly and helpful, as well as Ann Marie. Ann Marie goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The best part is the views of the harbor and Morro Rock. It’s a perfect location for walking to the Embarcadero and restaurants and shops.

10mn walk from the beach and 10mn walk from the town centre. Pretty convenient hotel, and the area is pretty peaceful. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Parking easy Fun hot dog restaurant just next door. Expect a little noise from neighboring rooms and wood deck , but that really was ok

Typical American motel with nice rooms, fridge and microwave and freezer parking. Morro Bay is a lovely place to stay. Only downside was the late night noise from The Siren pub nearby.
