Best Western Plus Anaheim Orange County Hotel

Everything was great except the pool was out of service for the 3 days we were there.

I like the location. Its within a short drive to stores. Alos a dennys next door. Another diner was across the way. Very quiet location. The property was clean. Our room was clean. There does need to be some updates to the room we had. The lounge chair was tattered and worn. Ripped underneath the chair fabric was exposed. The side table and some heavy scratch marks and visible dirt on bottom. The stand where the tv is had a lot of scratch marks and desk chair the leather was ripped. It didn't disrupt our stay just thought id share. Breakfast was plentiful. and filling. Staff was friendly. Pool was nice and hot tub was relaxing. Parking was included which was nice no hidden fees. Awesome! We would stay again!

Very clean and quiet. Free parking also with good pool. Free coffee in foyer. Dennys at front of property for good dining options. Good quality free breakfast. All round a winner, would definitely stay again

Good price and a decent breakfast buffet. To note: they do not hold luggage, so be aware of that if you are planning to do something after checkout time.

Secure entrance for elevator rides

Property is great, clean and near lots of restaurants and stores. There is a fee for parking.

The staff was friendly and responsive. The room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows, worth the price. The breakfast was okay, nothing great but there is a Denny’s next door. The workout room could be larger and there were no free weights if you like to work out. We will stay there again when visiting family.

Staff were supremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and everything was perfect except we were sad that the hot tub was out of order.

I wish Icould share pictures of signes everywhere showing out of service. ice machine , washer dryer , gym equipment and hot water was out of service and another vending machine was sold out.

The place overall was very clean. Although, while i was getting ready i turned to turn on the sink in bathroom only to find a big cockroach inside the sink. I let the people in the lobby know and they weren’t much help they just said to wait for the manager. by the time the manger would be there it was out check out time.

Very nice! Super clean and comfortable beds. Staff was nice and we loved the coffee machine and water dispenser in the lobby. We were very happy with our stay.

Bed bugs

This hotel looked decent enough for the price range. It appeared a bit run down but clean, until we sat on the bed. As soon as my husband sat down against the pillow, a BED BUG jumped into his ear! Grossed out, we gathered our stuff and headed out. When we told the front desk that we would like a refund they weren’t even slightly shocked. Then after a few days I called to check on that refund and told the person at the front desk that we left because of bed bugs and his response was “bed bugs again?!” as if to imply this isn’t anything new for them. The staff was friendly but unless you’re looking for several new six legged friends, I’d choose a different hotel! *We did get a full refund but I was annoyed that my money was tied up for several days and I had to pay for a new hotel at the same time.

I walked in to my complimentary upgraded room to find a German cockroach crawling on the bed with an egg sack still attached to it. I called and they gave me a downgraded room across the hall.I woke up with something biting my ankle.

The bathroom had hair all over the floor. Needed to call front desk to have someone clean it up.

Everything was ok until my partner turned out the lights to fall asleep. I was already dozing off on one of the queen size beds, we had a double bed room. 10 minutes into the lights being off he jumps out of bed, complaining of a stinging on his arm. We turned the lights on and to our horror noticed a few giant bites on his inner arm. He flipped the sheets and inside his pillow case found a live bed bug trying to run. We took photos down to the front desk - of the bites/welts on his arm and the bed bug alive / and dead - for a complete refund of the deposit ($200) and how much it cost to stay the night. I booked through Expedia so the latter half was dealt with over the phone with no issue. We had to pack our bags and leave the hotel at 1am. From someone who’s never really seen a bedbug in person before it was a nightmare.

The cleanliness of the room and entrance turned out better than expected. Staff was excellent.

Very dated rooms. Couldn’t find one usb outlet in room; in this day and age, that is almost unheard of. Peeling paint, dirty baseboards, dirty curtains, grout missing on bathtub tiles. Located next to small junkyard.

First rooms a/c wasn’t working. The front desk was quick to accommodate us and put us in a new room. Floor 3 smelled musky when you got off the elevator. But the room was fine.

Room 319. A/C unit dripping water. I stepped in it with my sock on.

Check-in was efficient and very courteous. Room was upgraded to one with a sofa bed, two tv's and microwave...didn't realize a microwave wasn't in every room. Only complaints were the shampoo, body wash and conditioner dispensers didn't work and the sink in the bathroom never gave hot water altho the shower did. The bed was top-notch and wifi was very satisfactory. I'd definitely stay there again. Free parking and room rates were lower than others I checked.

The room was clean and had a comfy bed. The only issue I had was that my door vibrated a lot when other people opened and closed their doors.

For the price, the hotel was good. Check in was easy and staff were all very friendly. The room was decent but nothing fancy or special. Scuffs on the walls, a random Cheeto on the chair and definitely worn furniture, made the room looked pretty used. However, the bed was super cozy and we all slept fantastic. Like I said, the price was right and everything met our needs.

Second time staying here. Love the location, close to Disneyland and also affordable. Beds are not the comfiest and the pillows are awful but easy fix by bringing your own.

Every single employee is pleasant. From the second I walk into the hotel I feel welcome. I always stay here when I go to Disneyland, Knotts or universal Studios. It’s quiet and cozy. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is not bad. I usually travel with my mom and we feel safe here being 2 female travelers. Thank you to all the staff for always taking great care of us!

The hotel was clean and had ample guest supplies to make our stay more comfortable. I should have given a 5 star but Samantha at the front desk was not very helpful. She refuses to check us in early when we were told be can be checked in at 2pm but she instead made up an excuse that the Best Western system was down. After a few minutes we tried and Belinda was more than helpful and very courteous to check us in.

This was the first time staying here. Wish I found this hotel 4 years ago, would travel to Anaheim every year for trade show. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Have to mention the Manger Kevin, He has to be one of the friendliest Managers I have met, He would always announce me as Mr. Edward. Also have to mention Sam, I’m assuming short for Samantha, She would go out of her way to always say hello, If I ever needed anything she would help out. Dont want to leave out the rest of the staff,they where also friendly and accommodating

Gentleman checking in (at midnight) was GREAT! Very friendly and provided great customer service. Breakfast was also really good and the staff there were also great. Definitely recommend.

The service was horrible.

Check on was a mess and forced into and unnecessary "upgrade". Long story but I travel all the time and was never MADE to upgrade when my child stayed with me and my husband. Also the pull through at the front door is blocked off so you have to park a bit way to walk in and check in. Not great at night. Room was clean...bed hard. Shower had mildew.

We arrived for a late check in, when we arrived they stated no water from 10 pm till 6 am, when finally took shower in am no shampoo or soap in dispenser, asked to talk manager front desk staff very nice manager HORRIBLE! Asked me “what do you want me to do about it” Terrible manager skills!

This was a great place to stay. Easy on and off the freeway.

Very impressed with the hotel! A great location and loved free parking. Easy to get to Disneyland! The staff was so friendly. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Will absolutely be returning!

We travel to OC area a lot (both business & pleasure) and like to stay at a different hotel each time. We pretty much stayed at most of the motels/inns/hotels near Disneyland (except the Disneyland hotels themselves). We decided on this BW in April 2023, because we had some errands in the Fullerton area - although we did visit Disneyland for one day. Overall, the BW hotel is modern, clean, and felt safe. The hotel is actually located behind the Denny's - access through the drive way (we were told the hotel owner used to own the Denny's). Anyway, since the hotel and the hotel parking lot are both in the back, we felt very safe. Additionally, the hotel also had a security guard at night - a huge plus. We had a king-bed suite that has a "kitchenette" with fridge, microwave, and a small sink and a couch/sitting space. Not a huge suite but definitely works for two-three people (with one may need to sleep on the couch). The morning breakfast has scrambled eggs, omelets, sausages, muffins, etc. - pretty good offerings to fill you up but don't expect gourmet food here. Overall, very nice hotel for the price. Its location however may be the only drawback. You definitely will need a car to get around. There is not much in the area (kind of expected). The Denny's in front is nice and some fast food a few blocks away - but there just isn't much else to do. Disneyland is about 15-20 minutes away. It is also quite a bit far from LAX and downtown LA. I

The motel is located near the 57 freeway in an industrial area. The facility is clean, modern and quiet.found the staff unusually friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable. The free breakfast was actually edible—real scrambled eggs, not powder, meats, espresso drinks, and many other selections. Beware—the motel is exquisitely hard to find. It is hidden behind a Denny's and the signage is minimal. Turn into the Denney’s parking lot. The bath tub could have used grip bars for those of us of a certain age. The bathwater was instantly hot even on the 3d. Floor—far too hot for human skin until turned down by more than half. You have been warned. The bathroom floor is also unusually slippery when wet. I’d recommend this facility for anyone.

Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and well kept. It was a pretty quiet hotel. The surrounding area is pretty industrial so it is a short drive to any restaurants, other than the Denny’s in the same lot. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast buffet was great and also the food and desk staff. Beds very comfortable. Room clean and modern. Bring your own microwave.

I have stayed at this facility before, but it appeared to be even better on this last trip. They had revamped their entire breakfast set up, and it was probably the best hotel breakfast like this I’ve had in many a year. Way more offerings than you would expect… I’ve never seen corn beef hash, or mini Omelettes done up the way they did in this facility. I think all the guests appeared surprised, as I heard comments made about it as they were leaving to the staff. Things like putting the remote control in a little bag after cleaning, the decorative towel arrangements in the bathroom, etc. all exceeded expectations for a facility like this. I will always stay here on my returning trips to OC.!👍😁

This place went above our expectations. The front desk was very kind and welcoming. Our room felt very clean and spacious. The breakfast was just above average. I’d say the winning factor was the amazing Starbucks coffee machine by the front entrance 10/10
