Great price for the location: parking is a bit tight but nothing terrible. Hotel was definitely very safe—only way to access anything besides the lobby is with a keycard! Only issue was when I booked through Expedia it had the hotel listed as breakfast provided—there is even a sign in the elevator showing “Breakfast Provided” but it is misleading, borderline a lie. The breakfast is available at the very pricey restaurant adjacent to the hotel with a 10% discount. Almost $20 for three pancakes is outrageous in my opinion even in a downtown restaurant of a major city. Ended up having to spend more money than planned because of having to pay for breakfast (not at the restaurant because as I said those prices were unbelievable.) Overall very good experience, nice pool, fantastic location near pretty much everything you could need for a great trip to SD!

Pleasantly surprised. Room was nice and up to date. Even had both USB-C and USB-A ports in each nightstand and the desk. Room was clean and well equipped. Amenities are negligible Small pool tightly surrounded by rooms, extremely small fitness room, no breakfast. But if you want a well equipped room walkable to all of Little Italy and other downtown areas, it's a great room for the price.

Perfect location for us, quiet to relax. Close to little Italy, which we love!! Didn’t have the chance to go to the pool..two things parking is not included with the reservation and room service, you can pay extra if you want service to clean your room..not a big d es l but I was surprised

This hotel was very close to the sante fe depot station and within walkable distance of little italy so it was a perfect location. parking on the property was an extra charge but the parking garage was very convenient to have and easy in and out access throughout the day.

Everything was excellent with the area the service. And even with complimentary coffee and special coffee’s like Mocha and Latte. The pool and hot top was nice too and open late which it’s a big plus. The one thing I didn’t like was the shampoo, conditioner & body were not good at all. We had to buy our own cuz neither was with using. That will be my only issue they would need to improve.

Conveniently located, Very close to SantaFe Depot if you are coming via Amtrak. Loads of eateries around, no charge on ordering through Uber eats and getting delivered to front desk. Front staff is super friendly. Best part is the free coffee machine in lobby. It wasn't working the day we arrived but later was either replaced or put back in working, we enjoyed our free cappuccinos during our stay. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi are also a plus. The only downside was the grab and go breakfast opposed to a daily buffet breakfast and lack of on site dining options.

Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Pool and hot tub super clean and not busy. Little Italy location walkable to many restaurants and nearby trolley. Tub drained a little slow but was given a new room no problem. Great stay.

The whole lobby smells like urine, shower had mold and shower head wasn’t even shooting out water, It was dripping out. They give tiny little bottle of shampoo, conditioner and wash not enough for two people, blowdryer was old from the 90s and wasn’t strong. Worst hotel I’ve been to honestly.

Very clean room! Shout out to the housekeeping staff. Seriously, I'm a clean freak and it was immaculate. The area is very walkable with SO MANY dining options nearby. I will stay here again on a future visit.

The overall cleanliness of the room was lacking, when we arrived there was Jaír in the bathtub and the place is certainly run down. The coffee offered in the lobby in the morning was not good at all, it tasted old even though it is from a machine and there were coffee grounds in the coffee. I would not chose to stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful from desk staff. The bathroom faucet in my room was dirty. It had dried toothpaste and brown stuff where the water comes out from so I marked a star down for cleanliness but I enjoyed the rest of the hotel and amenities

Was in SD for the blink-182 concert. I had low expectations since I got what I think it was a good deal. Hotel is located walkable distance from USS Midway Museum. Staff was friendly. Pool was clean and never crowded. Property was super clean (I even saw a staff member scrubbing the bottom of the elevator floor with a tooth brush). Be advised tho: If you get a room facing the street there is construction going on and they start super early on weekdays. Not a big deal since I'm a heavy sleeper but I see how it could be an inconvenience for some. In short, if I ever to back to SD I will definitely try to book and stay on this property again.

Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Construction on street outside our room (we knew in advance) woke us up at 7am every morning of our stay. Room furniture was dated and room didn’t have enough light. Grab and go breakfast was good, not great.

Location of the property is preem; lots of fun things to do within walking distance. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Bed mattresses and pillows were awful, and the rooms are starting to look a little dated (particularly the bathrooms). Also, I would not recommend paying extra for a bay view...view is obstructed by a giant building, and the balcony is tiny.

We booked a partial bay view but got a city view of nothing but a construction zone. Could not leave window blinds open because workers could see right in the room. Very uncomfortable feeling and we like natural light.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The location near Little Italy’s restaurants and cafes was wonderful. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The hotel was clean, but the elevator and lobby area (where the non-working complimentary coffee and juices were located) needed some tlc. I was disappointed to find out that a complimentary breakfast was not offered, and was only offered off property.

- Room was spacious - The Inn is very close to Little Italy and other major San Diego landmarks (Seaport, USS Midway, Airport, Zoo, etc.) - The WiFi keeps getting disconnected and we had to keep re-authenticating - The television was old - most modern TVs have Netflix, Prime, Apple TV apps - There seemed to be water issues in the bathroom especially with the shower pressure(very low flow) and the flush - The hotel does not provide water (even extra bottles that we were willing to pay for)

Clean but wouldn’t stay again. Don’t expect to check in before 4pm they said early checkin would be a charge of $22.50 with no guarantee of an early check in. The pool area was overcrowded with not enough chairs to accommodate over 25 waiting for their room to become available after 4pm. The additional $22 parking is next door with no elevator connected to the hotel so you have to haul it down stairs or down the parking structure. The elevator inside was small and very slow. The staff were not helpful.

Staff is nice, but would not let us in until normal checkin time of 4pm without paying another $30. Our flight got us in the area by 9:30 am. But they did hold our bags for free. Just would have been nice to freshen up before visiting the area after a long flight.

This hotel is located about 5 blocks from the Santa Fe train and bus depot, We had reservations for an Amtrak train that left from the depot at 6 a.m.; this hotel was just the place to stay the night before, since we could walk to the depot. We picked up our grab-and-go breakfasts from the front desk and took them on the train with us. The location is also convenient to the San Diego trolley. There are restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable. There was a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. There is construction going on next door, but it didn't affect us, since we checked out early in the morning. The city view rooms face the construction. The bay view and pool view rooms do not; you should book one of those if you are hoping to sleep past 7 a.m. We hope to stay at this hotel again because the location is so convenient for us.

Awful and loud construction. I couldn't sleep. Noise was so loud it woke me up at 6am on a Saturday. Had to check out at 9am. I booked a room for my anniversary so that we can be away from our kids and get rest. I was so tired on the way home.

We checked in late and checked out very early the next morning so didn’t stay very long. Parking garage was well lighted. The hallway to room was well lighted, our room was very comfortable, bathroom clean and all amenities were provided and working. Very close to airport. Very nice property - would stay here again.

Clean room in a quiet, safe location with friendly reception staff. Tourist attractions, places to eat & drink all within walking distance. It was great base for exploring San Diego. Car park on site (for a fee) which had plenty of spaces when we were there.

Our room was on 10th floors as requested since we stayed at BW for 7 nights. We did clean ourselves by choice, there was no need to tidy up the room every morning. In the morning we asked the housekeeping staff to give us garbage bags to replace the used ones. Everything was just perfect including "Grab and Go" breakfast, the ocean view from the balcony was stunning. Proximity to all tourist attractions in the area makes this place very convenient. My husband and I will be definitely back.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They shared several recommendations which were all great. The location is perfect - walkable to the Harbor, Little Italy, and the Gaslamp District. Also, close to so many other places and things to do, as well. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect and hit the spot. Highly recommend.
