Experience a late night pizza. It was delicious and had a lot of flavor. I wish staff would have worked harder to get me a beach view room but somewhat still satisfied with the room we got even tho the swamp view wasn’t that great. The family activity’s were were on point can’t wait for my third visit. Highly recommended one stop shop they have everything there.

Paradise Point was the perfect resort for our vacation in San Diego. Loved the resort amenities like adults only pool, spa (massage was excellent) multiple pools, access to bay, mini golf and cafe by the water. Rooms are spacious and quiet. My cousin and I were very comfortable and relaxed during our week stay here. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only issue we had was when we checked in to the hotel on a Saturday there wasn’t enough bell people working and we had to wait about 25 minutes to get our stored luggage back and transport to our room around 4pm (when rooms become available). Other than that minor issue no complaints. Would recommend this resort to family and friends visiting San Diego.

It's a beautiful place, but honestly, it stressed me out to be there. I had an issue (explained below), and no one could help - saying that because I made my reservation through hotels.com, my reservation was locked and they couldn't touch it -- but then hotels.com just gives the chatbot that doesn't help. It felt like no one was taking ACCOUNTABILITY for the needs of their guests who are paying a small fortune to be there... So, here was the issue: I wanted to make a last-minute room UPGRADE and add an extra night (ok, so last-minute change is on me)... but they refused to credit my original room against the new upgraded room!!! (In other words they still charged me for the room I didn't use, along with the higher priced room). To make matters worse, they still required me to check out by 11am (no late check out!) after the first night, and couldn't assure me I could check in to my NEW room (same kind of room, but 2 doors down) until 4pm. They did put a rush and I was able to get into a by around 1pm, but still, it was such a hassle to pack everything AND get charged an extra $380 or so -- with a REFUSAL to credit me back a penny and no apology. I'm sucking it up because I'm a non-adversarial person, but I will never go back, and it makes me disgusted by the chatbots and how it seems to take away customer service. And also, I know if I would've made a scene, I would've gotten a discount, but it's not worth my adrenalin. It leaves a bitter taste.

We’ve been coming here annually for the past 5 years and every year until this year has been pretty good. This year, the room smelled like a dirty mop, pillows were awful, and the front desk staff was not accommodating to letting us know where the most convenient fire pit would be to our room, which was very aggravating because we came early to claim a fire pit. We also requested a room closest to a fire pit well in advance and they didn’t do that for us. Food in general at Bar Foot Bar is overpriced and service is very slow. The outside of the rooms are getting really rubbed down as well and needs some care and refreshing. We love the easy access to the Bay and bonfire pits and that’s what keeps us coming year over year.
