The room was ok at best. Hor tub was empty and the gym was full of boxes and not open. The sink wa clogged and the shower had no pressure.

I didn't like that the hot tub was not working. And the water in the pool was cold.

Hot tub was empty. Room was nice and the hotel itself was in good condition, but the main reason I picked this place was the hot tub.

From the parking garage to the rooms to the pool area, the whole place needs upgrading. Our room reeked of mildew. The bed was like sleeping on a pile of springs. The parking garage had multiple spots filled with furniture. The pool area was not particularly clean and the hot tub had "caution" tape around it. For the price, it was not good. (The only decent things were good towels and water pressure.)

Although this Days Inn seem to be in an okay neighborhood, the complex was a bit rundown. Bathtub was a bit grimy and this place doesn't offer daily housekeeping. I asked via text to get housekeeping for one day and it was ignored. Breakfast is underwhelming ... only good thing is the waffle maker. Gym was unusable as the treadmills wouldn't turn on. Had to get a key from the front desk to operate which was a hassle and the gym closed early at 9pm. Encountered multiple other hotel guests that seem a bit "suspect" to me. Probably won't stay here again if I visit San Diego. Location is okay though for hooking on to the freeways.

Location was good and so was price. Some of the front desk attendants were not very helpful. The fridge made loud clicking noises all night, my toddler kept waking up because of it. Wifi was out the whole 4 days we were there so I could not get a little work done on my laptop. Spa was sealed off. TV didn't work initially so I called front desk to help, no one came for 2 hours. The cable box was hot so the maintenance guy put it in the freezer for a few and then it worked a little. No volume control. I've stayed here before with better results but this trip was noticeable that the hotel has let itself go.

Stayed 3 night's. Staff unfriendly, hot tub and no heat, ice cold water. Asked for housekeeping to replace towels. Empty trash and bring toilet paper...no one ever showed up

Advertised with jacuzzi and the jacuzzi was empty- not filled up/no water...the only reason why we booked here & not another place.

Desk help was rude and absent. Much of the property is in shabby condition. Access to pool area from below ground parking stairs was partially obstructed by vending machine. Spa was caution taped off and unavailable. 5$ charge for parking was not not disclosed until checkin.

Don’t stay here - I didn’t see live roaches but they didn’t bother to clean up dead ones Everything is broken and dirty. Bags and bags of trash left in hallways. This place should not be branded - Days Inn should be highly embarrassed to have this place representing the name

this place was dirty had hair everywhere even in the bed, roaches, knats, and bees in my room and it smelled like sewer. door would lock and the amenities like the dishwasher was broken. the pool was dirty everything was just over all dirty. trashy hotel in a cool area 🙄

We left shortly after checking in. It was dirty. There were roaches. And the icing on the cake, the SEX TOY that was stuck under the mattress near the head of the bed. No joke. How could they have changed the sheets and not seen it?? Absolutely disgusting!!

AVOID unless you really need a place to sleep. The shower took really long to warm up and by the time a towel was needed, a nice long piece of hair was on it as well. The hairdryer did NOT work at all. The bed had hair pieces and red stains in certain areas. Very gross environment overall.

Run do NOT stay in this hotel. It is awful honestly for the money yoy pay here save it and stay at a motel 6. Lesson learned will NOT EVER stay here! The room smelled awful. They state no smoking but yet 3 rooms down a lady smoking outside the hotel. Rusty towel hanger, broken picture frames, bathroom nasty dirty, all the furniture is old half rear ended painted to make it look better. A room that was suppose to be expecting 4 people had towls for only 2 people. This was plain disgusting. Beware DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Also they send a link for you to checkbin and do everything upon coming to "save time" don't waste your time. We did it and it was pointless we were supposed to just go in and get keys for room and the person in front desk had us do all of it over again!😡 I asked what the poknt of doing it before as they had sent the link she couldn't answer my question. Trust and believe if I could give them no star I would!!!

We only stayed overnight to go to the beach. The room was dirty, there were gross smudges on the wall and missing paint from the bathroom. The art and decorations in the room had remnants of things squirted on it. The water pressure was low, in that when someone was in the shower, you could not flush the toilet. The water in the "kitchen" sink was stopped up, so we couldn't use it. The parking was very limited, and when we called to ask the office if there were alternate lot, they suggested we park in a handicap accessible spot, which there were none. We ended up parking wedged between the dumpster and the chainlink fence, and went out in the morning to move the vehicle.

we booked hotel with the price being reasonable and hotel looked decent according to the pictures and actually some good reviews. however upon arriving the area looked very sketchy and no parking in garage. we did manage to find one after checking in and as we made out way to room there seemed to be other guess yelling and some that looked homeless. but we continued. once entering the room it smelled stuffy and humid. my childrens initial reaction was of disgust after lifting the sheets. we saw what seemed mold on sheets. the air conditioner was extremely dusty and with a child with asthma I was not willing to overlook details like that. and also bathroom had roof falling as if there had been water damage. tub seemed to have what looked like a blood stain. It may sound as exaggeration from my part but on top of that gentleman in front desk was very dismissive of my experience. I had to wait a few days for refund because I did leave that night and requested cancellation.

Smoke smell, rundown areas of the building, shower put together horribly (sliding door didn’t work, water almost no pressure), stains in the bathroom, didn’t drain well, just many things really shotty

Very dirty room filthy all around .! Shower knob in room has hot and cold reversed my daughter burned herself in shower . Kitchen super dirty cabinets walls ect..

Room was small and everything looked old.

I went there because they had a full kitchen and full size refrigerator. There was nothing in the kitchen and the cabinets were in need of repair. Bed too soft. It was close to my appointment which was good. They put me on the side by the freeway so was noisy 😡

We were at the hotel for 7 nights. There was no wifi but it was advertised as having wifi. We would not have chosen a hotel without wifi. I asked how long the wifi had not been working and the answer was for a while. There was supposed to be free breakfast. There were 2 kinds of cereal and 1 waffle maker. There was a long line up every morning for the waffle maker since there weren’t many options. There were also some prepackaged blueberry muffins. No other flavor choice. Some mornings there was yogurt and hard boiled eggs. It was the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. Plus very limited seating and very run down looking. The door to our room did not seal tightly and you could see light coming in around the door. There were spots of dirt on the bathroom walls so the walls obviously were not cleaned. And no dishes or cutlery in the kitchen.

While close to the SDSU campus, rooms were run down and not well maintained. Everything was pretty dirty, too. Carpet was always wet from AC, TV didn't work in the first room, maintenance had to come several times, but couldn't get it to work. Was moved to a different room, also not very clean. And wifi kept going out and no one could figure out why. Frustrating stay. Will not stay here again and would not recommend.

I got a great price on a studio suite. It was clean, comfortable, and roomy with a full kitchen, many amenities and a good breakfast included.

This place is surprisingly quiet despite being next to a freeway. The room was very spacious. Highly recommended.

Overall, a good choice for a budget stay. The hotel is right next to the freeway so it was noisy due to the traffic. It was also very noisy with some of the neighbors. The walls were pretty thin so I was awake a few times by someone talking at 2AM and 4:15 AM on the two nights that I stayed there. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. It even has a small kitchen with an electric stove top and dishwasher. However, the shelves were empty. So you’ll need to provide your own kitchen supplies if you’re staying long there. The bathroom was clean overall butnoticed a couple of long hairs in the shower corner. And the baseboards in the bathroom needed cleaning. The room smelled a bit funky. Not sure if it was the air conditioner or mildew? Other than those three issues, the room had the usual amenities. Coffee machine, ice bucket and plastic and plastic cups. The basement garage was not very well lit so it may need to have lights replaced or installed. There was a pool and hot tub . The hot tub might need some water testing since it had a foaming surface when there were kids in it.

It was an okay place to stay. Nothing spectacular. It had a full kitchen, which was convenient. The furniture was a bit rundown, but still functional. The cleanliness was okay, seemed like it was cleaned quickly without much thoroughness. The AC was loud and ineffective, and there was a lot of noise through the night from the nearby highway.

There was a too much freeway noise

Checked in and front desk agent was short with me and not personable. I then received my room keys, hauled all my luggage upstairs, tried my room key twice and the door handle. I was greeted by a guest who opened the door with weed billowing out of her room, who said “wrong door mother f’er” and slammed it. I hauled all my luggage back downstairs to the front desk, where there was now a line. I went to the front to let her know what happened and she said she’d get to me in a second. She checked in two more guests and called for the next in line, when I had had enough and reminders her I had already been through that line and been given keys to an occupied room. She asked for my name and room number. I gave them to her based on what she wrote down in the room key sleeve. She said, oh I show a different room. I showed her what she wrote and she said “oh, I must have been helping another guest and wrote down the wrong number and I don’t know where your room keys are”. She proceeded then to make new keys. The room wasn’t the cleanest… or maybe it is as clean as it can get. Still trying to determine if some things are not clean or just permanent stains. There was one friendly housekeeper who helped point us in the direction of our actual room, which is what raised the “staff and service” score from a 1 star to a 2 star.

I had a terrible experience at the Days Inn by Wyndham Mission Valley/SDSU in San Diego. The reception staff were incredibly rude from the moment I arrived. When it came time to check out, they took an unusually long break, which caused me to nearly miss my flight. I also had a simple request — to change the bedding in my room and provide fresh towels. I asked THREE times, and despite assurances, nothing was done. The staff were not only unhelpful but downright incompetent in handling basic tasks. Overall, this hotel was a major disappointment. I won’t be staying here again, and I highly recommend looking elsewhere for better service and professionalism.

When arrived there was no one at front desk for about 10 minutes. Luckily they were able to give me an early check in but i was told they didn’t have rooms available even though i checked in prior to arrival and requested early check in. The noise from the upstairs was horrible.

I will start with saying "You get what you pay for". I was looking for an inexpensive place and I got what comes with that price. Upon check-in, the lady seemed less than thrilled that I was there. Also let me know that there was a daily parking fee that was not mentioned before. She didn't give me a map to find my room (and it is a little like a maze) nor any information about breakfast. The grounds were dirty (although the overflowing trash did get taken out within a few hours of our arrival) and the garage has a bunch of furniture in it. Our biggest concern was electrical sounds coming from one of our outlets. We let the staff know (and this person was much more amenable to helping us). They sent a maintenance person up. There wasn't much concern and they simply flipped some breakers. It seemed like it had stopped so they left. It started up again and we asked for a room switch but they claimed there were no clean rooms but they could clean some and call us back. That didn't happen and so during the night, we not only heard the noise from the outlets, but saw sparks inside the outlets. We simply unplugged everything from that wall and didn't see or hear anything again. When we checked out, we did leave a message that they NEED to get that fixed or a fire will break out. I had plans to stay here again for a future visit to the area, but immediately cancelled that reservation and found something a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it.

Arrived at the motel at 3:00pm. Mind you, reservations were made 1 1/2 months prior to visiting. Specifically specified in the notes I needed 2 rooms next to each other or very close as I have health issues and my wife would be in the other room with 2/4 of our kids. They had 2 rooms completely opposite sides of the building. I asked why they couldn’t put us together or at the least follow the notes. Stated that it’s first come first serve. So basically my reservation meant nothing to them. Then one of our rooms is not even ready. Was not cleaned until 4:00pm. Check in was at 3. We get j to our rooms. Sheets have tons of stains, room was semi clean. Table and bed frame was sticky. Bed was up against one of the doors in one of the rooms I couldn’t even get in with my wheel chair. Bathroom had black mold on the ceiling. I was upset and went back down to the office ready to cancel my reservation. Was told I would be charged fees and 1 night. After saying I wanted to cancel still, they miraculously said they had another room available next to one of my rooms. Unfortunately this was not the end of the nightmare. We stood from Monday until Thursday. Tuesday was our SeaWorld day so we weren’t at the motel until later that night. Nobody came to clean either of the rooms. Beds weren’t made, no towels were swapped. Nothing. Called front desk and they stated they would send someone up with towels. And apologized for not having someone clean the room. Never got towels the whole stay.

We paid an extra for a 2 hr early check in and upon arrival were told it was not available. Had to hang around for two hours. 😡😡

The room Smelled awful like a casino. Was told I can check in at 1 pm drive from la to this place just to be told they have no rooms and check in is at 3pm upon arrival desk lady had an attitude told me she never received a call and the number was not their number i literally called the same number and the phone near her was ringing and asked if it was me. Then she told me they can do 1:25 then 1:40 to give me a room just for it to be 1:50 with her ignoring me I was almost late to my event due to the incompetence of this place and their staff.

I stayed at this place for almost a month, it was always full but not noisy. I ended up having to be admitted into the hospital and had my room with my belongings left behind. The staff went above and beyond to pack up and store my belongings until I was discharged. Not only that but they helped load up all my belongings into the car for me. It was great to know my stuff was safe and taken care of. That’s real customer service and satisfaction!

The front desk clerk was extremely rude and unfriendly. There was an excessive amount of old furniture blocking parking spaces and the bathroom had stains on the toilet seat and the shower. I had another stay booked at this same motel which I have now cancelled.

Overall the hotel is a good value. It has a pool and a hot tub. The mattress and pillows were comfortable for me. The room was clean. I suspect that this was formerly an Extended Stay hotel. The room is large and has a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, a small microwave, a sink, cabinets, and drawers. There are no dishes, utensils, etc. The two elevators are very slow. After 7 the front doors are closed and so you have to go to the garage to use an elevator or use the stairs. Unless you walk a mile or more, there's nothing to do within walking distance. There want a do not disturb sign to put on the door, but the front desk staff got me one quickly when I asked for one. It an ok place to stay. Maybe a bit more if you want to swim or sit in the hot tub. I did feel safe

Easy access to the highway. Appreciate the full size kitchen.

Last minute booking but a great one. Was not aware of having to pay for parking but it was only $5 a night which luckily was not an issue. It is quiet even for being right next to the freeway. The room was comfortable and had everything I was looking for. Good hidden gem near SDSU.

I reserved a king bed paid in advance because I knew I would be in late gave me a double queen. Me and my wife in a queen no good. Property was fairly clean however a bunch of junk in the parking garage make it look dirt. A lot of people hanging out early evening smoking and drinking in the parking lot but not loud or disruptive just a bad look. The room itself was clean and all the appliances worked and were clean as well(I used my fridge, freezer, micro, sink and stove top) so very pleased. Breakfast closed right at 930am I got there at 935am smelt good but be on time. Overall I would stay again real convenient to the freeway and central San Diego.

I was a little concerned about the highway traffic staying here however, we could not hear the highway in our room. We will stay again when needing a place to stay for a night.

We had a great stay here. The breakfast was just enough, though no meat was served it was more than enough. We loved the dining area near the kitchen with the stove and refrigerator. It was clean and located in a safe area where homes were occupied. We will always come back here when visiting California.

They have a horrible breakfast both the room and the food. Staff were OK and the room was spacious. Noisy fridge and bathroom fan. Good location.

You get a nice room with two beds, a full size refrigerator, with a kitchen and working stove. One of the cons is that the building is in need of maintenance. The room I used had a broken air conditioner, but a mechanic was able to get it working one within the same day I arrived. The wifi didn't work at all, even after calling the lobby several times. The outlets didn't hold some of my plugs correctly. If they can fix these issues, I'd be willing to stay there again, for the price during the week of San Diego Comic Con. There is only one restaurant in walking distance. The offered a good breakfast bar, but can get crowded in its small room. Overall, my experience wasn't as bad as I'm someone who only need vital necessities when staying at a motel, but for what I paid for was a fair deal.

I dont think I will be coming back the breakfast os hard boil eggs cereal and you jave to make your own waffles they unexpectedly chrged me for parking when I checked in.

This Hotel is Filthy. Needs a serious remodel. Staff at the front desk is not honest and says they will send you towels and never show up. Breakfast was terrible. I will never stay here again.
