The room was spotless and comfortable, check in was a breeze and the front desk staff were 5 stars - so friendly and kind! Zero complaints. The area is not the best and parking is very difficult due to the spaces not being designed for full size vehicles. We managed though and everything you need is close by with easy access to the rest of the city.

Basic room. Not luxurious but everything we needed. Very clean. Safe area. Very convenient to everything around San Diego that we wanted to see. Parking good if you get back for the night early. Poor internet. Had to use the Hot Spot on my phone for internet. May have just been the room we were in. They do say they have access. Tried the user id and password but it would never actually connect. Small inconvenience. Overall, Great Value. We would stay there again.

The rooms are renovated and clean. In rooms: No microwave oven, very small mini fridge. Beds were OK. Sheets were very clean. Hot water pressure very good. WiFi slow. In common area: No ice machine, No coffee in lobby, Narrow parking spots. Expedia lists this property with 3 stars but I believe 2 stars is better match.

They had bed bugs !! The guy at the front desk was so non chalant about it. The room looked “clean” once you get comfortable you can visibly see them and not even just one we found 6/7. Also got bites on us and didn’t even lay down and get comfy.

The staff seemed fine and responsive during check in. Flooring in room is not clean, with noticeable hair and other debris. Common areas and elevator are worse. We’re wearing shoes indoors. WiFi quit working this evening and is now inaccessible. At night there are questionable people hanging around the parking lot perimeter and in the surrounding areas, Definitely don’t leave valuable items in your vehicle. Just not a nice place.

The room was very nice looked clean but sadly i was awaken up at 230 A.M. by bugs crawling on me and the wall so i got my belongings and checked out by 3am the staff was very understanding refunded my stay but still to be asleep one minute and woken up by bugs aint cool at all .

The staff was very helpful but the room was not clean. The towels had stains and marks on it while the hotel room floor was very dirty. There were cigarette burns on the chair and the mini fridge froze our food even though it was dialed to “normal.”

This room was pretty average. It wasn't a great room, and it wasn't a horrible room. My sister and my niece were up all night because they could hear everybody talking in the neighboring rooms all night. The walls are really thin. The pillows arenot real pillows. They are basically throw pillows, and its difficult to get a comfortable night sleep on them. The refrigerator was too small to put anything in. I know that's not a big deal, but some people rely on that. And for a room meant for 4 people, it was just kind of a small room. It served its purpose for what we needed. When I booked the room that it would be...more. Like I said, it's not a great room, but it's not a horrible room. So it runs right there in the middle. The price was in my budget, but you get what you pay for.

The check-in process was super easy, and they got me a room on the bottom floor in a great spot when I asked. The room itself was rather spacious, which was great. The bathroom was huge! But there were several issues. The floor was very dirty in the room, covered in hair. My socks were covered with hair of other people which was a bit gross. The shower has some issues, including the large shower head was broken, so when I turned on the shower it sprayed everywhere. Thankfully there was a second smaller shower head I could switch to. They also weren't refilling the soap dispenser. The DirectTV system was nice in the room, but it kept cutting out on just about all channels (probably a connection issue). Several of the outlets were old and anything plugged into them just barely stayed in. Other than that, it was a good stay and a nice large room. It could just use a bit of an update.

Everything was great with the property, especially the parking. I just like a firmer mattress and the pillows were like decorative pillows and quite firm. It wasn’t terrible and I would definitely stay there again. Great value for money.

Great location as its near the highway. 15 min out from major SD areas and has included parking w a decent sized lot. Did not have any trouble finding parking late each night. The rooms itself were really clean and stocked. Only complaint is the bed was a little too soft to where it sinks in. The front desk and housekeeping were polite and accommodating. Would def come back

Nice location and close to stores and freeway. This is an older hotel similar to Motel 6 but was clean. Only issue was that you could hear all the noises through the windows.

I booked the wrong day for this stay. Hotel staff and especially the hotel.com agent so the 800 call center fixed the problem within minutes. Allowed me to check in by rebooking the reservation. Excellent customer service

The front office staff woman at checkin was amazing and nice and helpful. The room was decently clean, but the bed was very old and sunk in. The worst part was starting at 9 AM. And every 30 minutes thereafter, housekeeping would come knock on the door even though we told them multiple times wait until 11. It was really rude and inconsiderate after the first time.

The room itself was good but not the staff. I would not recommend that you leave any thing valuable in your room. The cleaning staff emptied the fridge full of unopened drinks we had left there and then lied when confronted.

I’ve stayed here twice and both times I’ve been so happy! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the people at the front desk are friendly & helpful! I needed early check in to coincide with moving my daughter on campus, and Luis went out of his way to assist me. Then I locked myself out of my room & no problem, Luis helped me right away! (And I so appreciated his understanding)! Good food and shopping are not too far away! Will definitely be back!!

The Pleasant Inn is a bit older, but the staff has kept it in very good condition. Large room and comfortable bed. They are located very near to both the 805 and 163 freeways for convenience.

This little place had good rates and was by so many places to get food or supplies. Location was great. Parking was free! Really no issues for me other than the pillows were a bit uncomfy but that can be easily changed. Check in was very easy too.

Everything was nice, it is close to many restaurants with different options like chines, Thai, Cuban, Mediterranean, burger, and clise driving proximity to much entertainment.

The cost was fair, nice staff, fridge, coffee maker, parking included, spacious room. What I didn't like; you will hear lots of traffic noise near the freeway off ramp. Inconvenient driving east to the hotel, no left turn in to enter. Have to drive a half mile to make a u turn back to the hotel. For my dining options I had to drive west to the main shopping center a few miles away. Still wasn't a long drive to Sea world to save money on an overnight stay.

The location is very convenient - right next to the highway, down the street from Walmart and a grocery store, across the street from a gas station and down the street from one of my friends and the neighborhood where I used to live. There's a great hibachi style restaurant right next door with great food. The rooms were very clean. We had an electrical issue with our first room after a couple of days and was moved to another room. It was a nice, clean room also, so no complaints. The parking can get really tight if the hotel is fully occupied. After the 4th of July weekend was over and people started leaving, the parking situation was much better. I would definitely book here again. The staff was awesome, from the front desk to the housekeepers. Thanks for a great stay! This was part of what made a great vacation for me and my son.
