Very nice hotel, great central San Diego location. Seems very safe and the rooms and property was super clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the Tesla charging stations (brought my Tesla), so that is a huge perk for EV drivers.

Our stay here was okay. The hotel it self has been updated, but still looks outdated if that makes sense. The rooms are really big. Our family stayed for 2 nights. Our room was on the 4th floor. The heating and air fans are on the roof and you will hear them on and off all night. This made our stay here unpleasant. They have a big heated pool but no jacuzzi.

The hotel was fine. Only problem is that I booked the hotel because the amenities listed an EV charger, only to find that they All they had was a standard 120 volt outlet by one of the parking stalls which they expect you to bring your own cord and plug it in. Not exactly an EV charger.

This hotel is in a decent location and central to a lot of San Diego. It is a little over due for a cosmetic refresh, but not dirty or poorly maintained. The biggest gripe I have this that they charge you $18 a night for parking considering there is nothing near this hotel that can be accessed by foot and a car is really your only option to get around this charge is borderline extortion. It’s not like they don’t have a giant parking lot either. Definitely something that should be factored into room cost.

I have previously stayed at this property x 1 year ago, and twice prior to that. They no longer have a jacuzzi next to pool (which is why I wanted to stay there) and now they charge $18.00 per day for parking. Which I never paid before. Still a great property but charging for parking is ridiculous.

Elevators were so slow. And at 2130 kids still swimming in the pool with loud noises. They seem to be having lots of fun. I didn’t mind much since I didn’t have to work the next day. Overall the place was satisfactory.

The room was big and comfortable. Unfortunately it was dusty and the sheets were itching. The parking space are small so becareful with oversized vehicles. There were ants in the bathroom. We got there 2 hours prior to check in.

This location was such a disappointment. The toilet seat looked like it was 30 years old. The bathtub had stains! And the carpet looked like it had not been cleaned. I had to put towels on the floor from my bed to the shower. Never again. I love the Marriott brand but avoid this location.

First of all, the room keys didn't work, we had to re-keyed it. Then second, the AC makes a weird loud noise every 30 seconds, we couldn't sleep at all! AC couldn't be turned off so we were tortured the whole entire night with the random loud AC sound!!! And we had to stuffed our ears with tissue papers! But overall the staffs are friendly and rooms are clean in general.

Didn't get breakfast there. Rooms nice, clean, comfortable. Had rooms on opposite sides of the hotel due to 2 separate reservations, which was fine. Some kind of bass-type noise (booming) could be heard in both rooms until 2-3am and I had a hard time sleeping. It was Halloween weekend. If you're a deep sleeper, you may be OK.

When we arrived the room we booked in advance was given to someone else. We stayed in another room which did not accommodate all of our guests. So, our sleeping situation was ruined. They did eventually give us another room away from our kids but it wasn’t the original plan. We finally were able to stay in the room type we originally booked the second day. But this was after having to change rooms and move our stuff back and forth on different floors 3 times.

Jennie checked us in, and she was so friendly and helpful. Great customer service. We had a change in plans due to flight delays and cancellations, so I called a couple of times to advise of our change in arrival time and with a couple of questions. I cannot remember when I’ve had hotel staff be so nice, empathetic, and helpful. All were wonderful. The staff working breakfast were the same way. We also met Adrian, the bartender, when we had drinks and a light supper. He was very polite and personable while being professional and very service-oriented. Wonderful hotel, all the staff made it even better!

The hotel itself is okay. Nothing special certainly for the rates they charge. Parking is an additional $18 per night, parking spaces are too narrowly striped for an average sized car, and they run out of spaces after 11 pm. Lastly, one of the front desk clerks was incredibly rude. Nobody told us that the hotel only provides housekeeping every other day (not something you’d anticipate for over $200/night). When I went to the front desk to ask for trash pick up and fresh towels, the employee said someone would be up in 5 minutes. An hour later, I stopped by again only for him to tell me that I told him the wrong room number; he even wrote it down. Yes, not only did I forget the room number, but even the floor we were staying on. People like this should not be stationed at the reception desk. There are many better choices in the San Diego area. For a Marriott property, their service on this occasion was embarrassing.

While the hotel is clean and nice, the flush in the toilet had constant issues. I fixed it myself, we spoke to the reception and she offered to change our room or give us complementary breakfast, we opted for the latter but on showing up at the restaurant they did not honor this commitment mentioning no more record of the complementary breakfast being provided. That felt a bit insulting considering we had to deal with all of this.

Property is in a preferred area. Away from typical San Diego tourist attractions. This is more of a business environment. Parking spots are a bit tight, though. Makes it difficult to enter or exit vehicles. Staff is very friendly, courteous, and professional. The breakfast buffet and bistro in the lobby are convenient. Starbucks coffee sold on-site.

We were disappointed that breakfast was not available every morning as promised. We prepaid for breakfast each day, but one morning there was no buffet; instead, we were offered a limited menu and allowed to choose only one item. We opted for the avocado toast, but unfortunately, it left us all feeling hungry. Additionally, despite requesting daily cleaning and leaving a $5 tip, our room was not cleaned every day. I had to remind the staff on the third day to ensure our room was attended to.

We had free breakfast but when we went down for breakfast we were told it wasn't free. So my husband did not eat the first day and I was charged. I spoke to someone at the front desk later that day and he was great he gave us all breakfast the next day and 50% off one of our nights to make ups for it. That night someone across the hall from our room was playing music loudly! It was very annoying and kept me up! They charge you for everything like parking when they have a whole parking lot connected to the hotel that is barely used. Other than that the hotel is very nice!

The pool was plenty big enough and warm. Had a lot of fun swimming! The breakfasts, which we paid for when I made the reservations, were delicious! Yummy bacon. Everyone was nice.
