This is a very nice place to stay in Old Town, walkable to everything there including the Transit Center and super convenient by car, right off the highway. The only downside is it is right next to the highway, which is less than ideal from a view, noise, and air perspective, but everything there is good. Use street parking unless $30 a night for convenience of not worrying about it is worth it to you. Turn your wheels curbside when you street park, even on the flat, or you may get ticketed by the unique fundraiser the San Diego police department runs for the city on that.
