Staff checked me in early- liked the quick process and room seemed clean, though a bit shabby, like you expect for motel. I went to pool to stretch my sore legs after travel and the pool was definitely heated and hot tub was clean and hot! Only issue was when I got back and wanted to shower- the shower would not come on. I was too tired to change rooms so I did not tell them but it was a pain to wash up at the sink. Informed at check out. For the price, not a bad stay mostly because I value a good pool after a long trek.

The room was clean and comfortable. I needed to ask for extra supplies which took a couple of attempts to receive. The cleaning staff were very nice. The pool and hot tub needed some cleaning and the outdoor furniture cushion were old and dirty. The location was great. We were able to walk to the Trolley and a few restaurants which were good. The Waffle Spot is worth the trip.

This hotel has been upgraded over the years. Shower area is improved. The choice for carpet over a vinyl laminate for floor is perplexing; it takes away from it looking more updated. Parking is a literal nightmare. Spots are tiny and if you arrive late in the night, you may not find a spot at all. Another concern is the door. It was not a complete seal. You could see the outside through crack in door from top to bottom and it also amplified outside hallway noise. The door also locked us out accidentally when the safety clip somehow got flipped when we shut the door. We had to wait over 20 minutes for maintenance to show up to get us into room. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. No frills, nothing extra.

I did not like the fact that I had to pay $20 a day for parking. Hotel parking was not always available and you had to drive around or sit and wait until parking was available. No one should have to go through that.

The pillows were severely stained in yellow and brown stains, there was no conditioner and no lotion, the remote was sticky, and w microwave had old stains tot he point where we had to scrub to get them out. We ended up not using it because of how dirty it was. Parking is also $20 per night but the person who checked us in said it was only $20 for the stay

The front desk staff was great! The room was ok at best. The bathtub was not clean. Had hair in it. Thankfully we bring our own cleaning products. The fridge was dirty and had hair in it in multiple places. That was disgusting. So we didn’t use that. It gave motel vibes and we don’t do motels. It served its purpose for one night. The safe didn’t work so that was useless. I forgot to tell the front desk staff. Also, there was trash left in one of the drawers. Like no one cleaned that room. THATS DISGUSTING!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The outside of the buildings are ready for some updating but inside the room was clean and comfortable. 3rd floor still had carpets but you could tell they are cleaned regularly. The owners are doing a nice job with the upgrades. The family enjoyed our San Diego stay and the room made it all that much better. There’s an attached restaurant that is not the same prices as the menu you are given when you check into your room!! The food from the menu comes from a different source independent from the restaurant. Restaurant was clean and had reasonable prices. The hotel is next to I-8 in the hotel circle. It’s only noisy outside but in our room it is not noisy.

Beds are fantastic and very comfortable. We were on 3rd floor so quiet just occasional noise from other guests. Wifi was ok but very slow . No batteries in safe . Public transport excellent and Fashion Drive Mall very close . Parking fees . Comfort was excellent. That alone entices you to stay again

The property has poor construction, people walking on the floor above and even on the patio felt inside the room. Super noisy, and it took almost 1-2 minutes for hot water to come in.

Price was fair excepting the $20 parking which most definitely should have been included in the rate or not tacked on at all. That's no different than the resort fee fiasco that thankfully these guys didn't charge. Evening check in staff we're unpleasant but the morning crew seemed much more pleasant. Beds are crazy soft, but not in a good way. Everything seemed clean though.

Went on a quick trip with my family for a concert and stayed one night on a Sunday. The area is basically just “hotel circle,” so the surroundings are mainly hotels and the freeway. Overall, I had a great stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful—they made sure to accommodate my father’s needs by placing us near an elevator since he couldn’t go up several floors. Parking was plentiful (though the hotel wasn’t fully booked), and check-in was simple with mobile check-in. I liked that I could add my car details through the app and that it sent texts for check-in and check-out. Just be aware there’s a $100 security deposit and parking is $20. The room itself was comfortable and not small at all (we had two queen beds). It had a sliding restroom door, good lighting by the mirror, hangers, a microwave, and a small fridge. They charge you for parking. They have a very high deposit. The elevator was broken. And the lady at the front desk was very rude. I think it was the manager, thank goodness that the other employee had some type of common sense, and some type of decency and customer service will never book again due to the lady at the front desk.

There was free, filtered water for your water bottle in the lobby, snacks and medicine for purchase, and self-serve laundry. The staff in the lobby was friendly, honored special requests, and informative. Used towels and coffee packets for the little coffee brewer in the room were replaced and trash was taken out each day of my stay and there was a small fridge and microwave, and wifi. I really appreciate your service and kindness to hotel guests.

The front desk staff were amazing and so friendly even through the chaos of a busy weekend. The room was comfortable for my family. It could use some upgrades, like in the bathroom and flooring because our room had the floor caved in in some areas under the carpet but you can’t beat the staff and location! Wow! Location! So close to everything and walking distance to the mall! Overall I will stay again and I wouldn’t mind staying the items mentioned!

I usually enjoy staying here because the staff is always so nice. I buy things and put the charges on my room, never a problem. This stay, not only was the front desk staff not personable, but they offered no explanation in regards to policy changes. Just, "no we don't have your card on file" which is a lie, because i gave that at check in. I am no sure, but the politeness, the smiles, that I'm used to weren't there. When i went to pay for my extended stay/addional night i was told "We're sold Out". Although i had spoken to two staff prior requesting the extension. One was too busy to discuss it as she had a line in the lobby and would "get back" to me, the other never made the reservation.

This was an OK Hotel in a convenient area. It was an older property, but well maintained. There was no dining within walking distance - so a rental car is necessary. I wouldn't stay in Hotel Circle again.

We had two rooms and both rooms smelled bad. We visited the pool, and saw two rats. Marketing materials states hot breakfast served daily and this is not accurate. There’s only a small store with microwave breakfast items for purchase. My daughter got a horrible rash after swimming in the pool.

The biggest difference in between this visit and our 1st, a month ago, is the time available to enjoy the hotel. We enjoyed the spa. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Bunz Burgers - really great.

Nice our door pool but needs to have towels available for you either out by pool or in your room so you don’t have to ask every time. Also elevator on the opposite side of the rooms. Should be in the middle, more accessible for everyone. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was good just needs more workers so waiting and being overlooked doesn’t keep happening.

The staff was friendly and professional. Check-in was quick and easy. Limited places to eat. That Bunz place was awful. There were people in the room next to me playing loud music till 3am. but to be fair I didn't bring it to the staff's attention till the next day.

For the price we paid we had a great room that was very clean and the beds were comfortable and I’m picky about bed comfort. I was w 2 friends and our kids who enjoyed the pool both nights we were there. We also had breakfast in the little restaurant on property, the food was delicious but it’s small so don’t know if it’s great for lots of guests all at once. We would stay again.

Good stay for the price. Nothing fancy but neat, clean, comfortable bed. Coffee in the room was awful so I went next door to the restaurant and had a wonderful breakfast. So nice to have food on property!
