Hotel was just ok, we were charged for parking. Customer service was average, room was clean but dusty. they closed the pool for a private party and as we were there a short time this meant we couldn’t use use it. Location was decent as we could get to the main town pretty quickly by driving.

We stayed one night, and the service was amazing. We were able to use the hot tub and the heated indoor pool. The one thing I was disappointed in was the fact that the rooms tv was not a smart tv. We wanted to unwind and watch movie and was unable to do so. The elevator isteself was smart wich was odd when we found the tv not to be.

This is a nice hotel- pretty clean and updated. Good value for the price. The only drawback is that there is no room service (& limited in-hotel dining) and so if you have one of those long days where you've been talking and networking and just want to hunker down alone in your room for the night- you will need to get food first or go hungry. I had worked out, showered and was chilling when I realized I hadn't eaten. But there wasn't room service (even though I tried to persuade someone to deliver my food. I didn't want to put my clothes back on to grab my food at the bar, and (& possibly run into work colleagues), so I just went to bed hungry. Frustrating. Of course, if you are someone who does Uber eats or Door Dash for every food desire, the lack of room service wouldn't be a problem.

Good location with easy access to 163 and major freeways. One of the nicer gyms for a hotel. Parking at $35 a night is a bit ridiculous since there are no other realistic options in that area.

We had a comfortable stay at this Doubletree. The rooms were outdated and looked worn. There was water damage to the shelf that holds the minifridge and in the bathroom. The lounge chair in the room had stains and I didn't feel like the money we paid was worth the room. The housekeeping staff were nice, polite and attentive. The outdoor pool was nice and I appreciated the cabanas. The spa's jets seem to be out of order. The small restaurant was decent but hours weren't aligned with the hours we were at the pool, the opened at 4pm.

Booked this hotel since it was one of the cheapest option at the time. The room was amazing and the layout was spacious, however there were some ants and flies in our room. The sliding door that leads to the balcony was broken which let air in and out. Other than that the place smelled amazing and the lobby was huge with a Starbucks, bar and buffet. Pool area was decent nothing too fancy but did have a fireplace hangout spot. Plenty of hang out spots in the lobby as-well. Now the things i didn’t like was how you have to pay for everything. Yes parking too which was 39 dollars a day. To extend check out also have to pay. Breakfast also have to pay for that which is 16-22 a person depending on the day. Overall it was a pleasant stay and id give it a 3/5 like everyone else but you wont be disappointed staying here.

Good hotel, great amenities. Didn't use the gym or pool, but they had an indoor and outdoor pool. Hotel is great for corporate events, whole lot of areas for that. A few restaurants/bars which is nice. Only downsides is parking is $39/day for self parking. Hazard Center is quiet, not many people there. Across from an MTS station which is nice.

Outdoor pool wasn't available for 7/19 & 7/20 (during my stay, it was reserved for a private party. NOTHING on Expedia website said so, if I was aware of that, I wouldn't book. It ruined our trip. too bad. In addition, the staff didn't keep their word to move us to another room, they kept playing games. I demand a FULL REFUND. Thank you

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent stay at your San Diego location and to request a full refund for both rooms booked due to unacceptable and unsanitary conditions. We reserved two rooms: • One King Room for 4 nights • One Two Queen Room for 3 nights Upon arrival, I checked into both rooms. A few hours before my daughter and her boyfriend arrived, I inspected their assigned room (the two queens), and it smelled overwhelmingly of mold. I immediately requested a room change. The replacement room appeared freshly cleaned and heavily sprayed with a deodorizer, which seemed intended to mask another odor. Initially, the mold smell wasn’t as strong, so we decided to wait and see. However, by the time they arrived and settled in, the mold odor had intensified again. After returning from dinner that evening, it was clear the deodorizer had worn off, and the room smelled heavily of mold once more. We requested a second room change, but were told the hotel was fully booked and no accommodations were available. My daughter’s boyfriend had to work remotely the next day (Friday) from that moldy room, and he suffered from headaches all day. My daughter also woke up feeling congested, with burning eyes and clear symptoms of exposure to poor air quality. We continued asking for a room change throughout the day, but were told repeatedly there was nothing available—until nearly 4:00 PM, when they were finally offered a new room. The rooms had been cleaned, but most of the hotel smelled like mildew. We woke up to ants in the bathroom. There was a hole in the picture and one in the wall. There is no refrigerator and the parking was $40 which we did not know until we checked in. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Room was clean, upon entering however it had a musty smell. We kept finding ants in the bathroom. A couple had made their way to our toothbrushes which were on the counter. I asked for no cleaning service during our stay, however our room had been cleaned. Elevator C made an uncomfortable noise, definitely avoided riding on it.

Customer service was great from all staff members. However the room was not clean. There were stains on the furniture like the seating chairs, that we did not use or sit on. I purchased disposable sheets and pillow cases to cover where we slept and brought our own blankets. The toilet did not flush properly so if you didnt close the lid the water would come shooting back at you out of the toilet when you flushed it. The room felt moist and smelled kind of like a wet towel. There was alot of dust and stains on the curtains. When you turn the light on in the bathroom there was a slight burning of dust smell as we got ready for the day. The breakfast was overpriced but the servers were nice. They had a popcorn machine with free popcorn on one of our nights that the kiddos enjoyed. With the close proximity to the beach, shopping near by and the zoo, the kids were happy but for the cost of stay, just wish the rooms were more up to par.

Overall it was a good stay. Located close to everything. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint: AC doesn’t drop below 75 and because the restroom doesn’t have a fan it’s gets humid in the room.

Most personal are friendly, except the one I checked in ( lady). Did not accommodate my request of a higher floor and treated me like my business did not matter. It is an old hotel with thin walls, you can hear everything even flushing and busy noises. The beds are super clean and comfortable, Spacious rooms, great showers and Crabtree toiletries, non bleached toilet paper and good towels. Bar, coffee shop, restaurant, gym, hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool. Parking. Fantastic location: walking distance to mall, restaurants and train to downtown. Safe feeling, good for everyone. Pet friendly without the stink. If you are not Hilton Gold Member and above; be prepared to pay for water and internet.

The service was extremely poor. I told the front desk 2 times the light bulbs were out in the bathroom. It was fixed after 2 days. The service in their after hours bar was also terrible. Two people working the bar completely ignored my wife and I. When I asked for service they told me to wait until they were done talking to friends at the bar. Finally, the workers at the front desk were not knowledgeable. I could go on, but please don’t waste your money staying at this hotel.

I got to the San Diego Doubletree around 5:20 PM and waited about 15 minutes to check in. I was polite to others who were there first, but I was a bit upset when the two front desk clerks kept chatting and didn’t see me waiting after helping others. I finally went up to them to say I needed to check in. I was disappointed with the service at the Doubletree. I didn’t expect a big welcome, but I wished they’d at least noticed me.

We arrived at the hotel and found out we forgot our luggage with our wallets at home so we had no ID, we spoke to the Assistant Director Kirk and he said “I know its you guys but I can't take the risk and let you in”. We spoke with Hilton support over the phone who helped us generate a digital door ID using our phones and we were able to avoid a 10 hour round trip for an ID. We had our phones, confirmation emails, pictures of our ID’s and Passports, we are Hilton members, and even offered to show him the purchase from our bank account using online banking but the Director didn't give us any other option and it felt like he was being as unhelpful as he possibly could. I tried to reason with him by telling him there has to be another way to identify us but he turned us away and said he spoke with security and they told him not to let us in. Thank you Hilton support. In the end, we were able to get into our room but the hassle and lack of customer service was obvious.

Rooms were clean , service was a 1 , multiple point other members we're acknowledged before me and my child. I was told that I could not extend my stay. Because no rooms were available, but upon checking on the Hilton and multiple other sites, rooms were at full availability. Another representative questioned whether I was a guest at the hotel before answering my question, then asks to see my room key before responding to my question. Breakfast was seat yourself, but it was over ten minutes before we were approached by staff yet people seated after us were greeted before us. For $250 a night only highlight was the softness of the pillow ive gotten better service at a motel 6

This hotel was in a convenient location to the airport and other San Diego attractions. We were glad that we used the parking garage, although we did not like the $40 per night rate. I would prefer $25 which I think is more reasonable, but there were cars that chose street parking that we saw with broken windows when we were leaving the hotel this morning so definitely park in the garage. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. Rugs in the hallways did not look like they had been vacuumed but the rooms themselves were clean and the beds very comfortable. we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel again because of the cost, we found an IHOP up the street. We would stay here again, though.

There are many dining options around the hotel and the food in the hotel is great too. The "grab and go" pantry has great sandwich and munchie options. Staff very kind. Lobby inviting.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and I will definitely be coming back. The staff is all very friendly, location is perfect with the trolly being across the street. Parking is easy and safe. Clean rooms and good food at the restaurant. The only complaint is that the shower curtains do not keep water inside the tubs and causing a water mess each time you shower. Also noticed some cosmetic improvements needing to be done such as paint and stained carpets. Other than that we were very happy!

Our stay was very good. I loved the hotel, the scenery in the foyer and our room looked amazing just like the pictures in the promotion. The breakfast buffet was my favorite. It had Everything something for everyone and it was really good. I will definitely be booking another stay at this facility.

Good customer service but food is terrible - it would help if staff advised at check-in to head to the second floor (stairs by reception) and exit out to Wood Ranch which has an excellent choice and service to meet all taste buds! Instead they offer the lounge which provides food that was hard to chew (over-cooked fish and dried out flatbread) and before you know it, you’re wasted £70 on a meal you can’t eat. Wood Ranch has a selection, quick service, great ambience and we went there most days in the end.

I had a standard double queen room - the beds were the most comfortable and so were the pillows. Slightly disappointed because I had asked for a location that included breakfast. This hotel had a wonderful breakfast restaurant, but it was not complimentary.
