Spending Thanksgiving weekend with my family and being an honors member and Trusting the name to honor its members with cleanliness upon arrival… we opened our window curtains and find a bright pink underwear from a previous guest! We were mortified! Called guest services and they had housekeeping come and dispose of it.

Microwave was dirty with red grease. They said they would clean it but didn’t. Keurig was dirty so I didn’t use it. Shampoo was empty and the housekeeping didn’t even refill it. I messaged them but they said they’re too busy. I called the front desk and they brought the shampoo after i took the shower already. Breakfast area was too crowded with no seats because so many tables weren’t cleaned. It was my first stay at Embassy Suites but it was the worst and I won’t be coming back.

The common areas of the hotel and the rooms included, were very dirty. There was hair in the bathtub, globs of hair in the hotel room, a sock, bandaid and dental floss left on the hallway floor for days. The hotel parking garage’s arm would not work with the room key and each guest was calling the front desk to get in and out. The only good level of service came from the front desk and the restaurant. I would advise others to not stay in the Embassy Suites in La Jolla.

It was ideally located, safe, and clean! The room was spacious and it provided all the necessities! The breakfast options were incredible which was included with the room. They serviced the room each day. Really the only thing that needed to be fixed was the bathroom sink in that it drained so slowly!

For the price you pay the sofa could’ve been in better condition. I stayed two different times and two different rooms and the sofa were peeling off. And the first time I stay, they had trouble with the elevator, and if you walk down the stairs, I was told it goes out to the outside.

Great location, we could walk to dinner. The kids were thrilled with our welcome snacks. My husband and I enjoyed the complimentary cocktail and evening snacks. Also, the breakfast is included and really adds to the value. They served made to order omelettes. Our room was nice and had everything we needed for our stay. Sometimes, pullout beds can be really uncomforatable, but the murphy bed was comfortable (according to the kids). We would stay here again.

A long wait to check in, I was behind 4 people and only one person working. Couch and chair in room are uncomfortable. Bathroom door opens outward which creates issues with going back and forth between living area and bedroom. Otherwise, a very nice hotel, bed is comfortable, room has fridge and microwave. Coffee downstairs is very good. Had TV issues and maintenance was there right away. We will stay here again.

Nightly parking is $40 a night, extra. The morning hotel staff are great. The breakfast made to order is delicious with many options. The happy hour snack and drink options are mediocre. - even iced tea ia watered down. The female bartender at the bar is beyond rude. I aked if I an order some food and she straight up said, "No". I asked for virgin strawberry daiquiri and the answer was, "No" again. No chstomer service experience. At night the hotel front desk staff - airhead teenagers dress up in dinosaur and spiderman costumes. I asked them for cups to make coffee in my room and the teenager told me that he\'ll have someone bring it up. Two hours later, I went down again and he sais the same thing again. Really? I stayed 5 nights and my rooma was not serviced not once. They sent me texts asking how my stay is and I mentioned that I need clean towels and garbage removed and was told it will be taken care off. Of course it wasn\'t. I had to grab clean towels from pool area and take out the garbage on my own. Seems like they are good at telling you they will do something but fall short on delivery. The room was great except for the couch. It needs to be replaced. The springs hurt your back. The handles have leather peeling off. The carpet is very dingy.

There’s an outdoor mall across the street. The front desk attendant who checked me in was very kind. I wasn’t happy about my room not being ready when I checked in at 4:00pm. The attendant told me that she didn’t know what time my room would be ready but they would send me a text. I never received a text so I called a few minutes after 5p and my room was ready. The room is just ok. It smelled like cigarettes. Some furniture needs to be updated. The area where they placed the toilet paper is not a great area. The toilet flusher looks like it’s gonna fall off.

The service was mediocre, the female representatives were amazing and so kind. But when having to change rooms the manager seemed bothered. The room next over had loud music till 4:00 am and I had to call twice. The second day the phone didn’t work in the new room. Room had towels on the floor from the last customer. Nice hotel. Conveniently located across the street from a large shopping mall that has every store imaginable and lots of places to eat. Free breakfast with made to order omelet bar. Clean and comfortable. Good value. We’ve stayed at a few different hotels with comparable pricing but this is the best one so far. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and very comfortable. Lighting in the bathroom was not very good for applying makeup. There was a long line for breakfast made to order so I was not able to have that. Bad timing on my part when I went to the buffet area and everything was cold or empty. But soon after, I noticed they refilled the trays. I liked the texting feature for communicating with the hotel.
