Hilton San Diego Mission Valley

I had a very pleasant stay at Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. The location is very convenient, close to downtown San Diego and several shopping centers, making it easy to explore the city and do some shopping. The neighborhood also felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff was kind, welcoming, and always helpful whenever needed. The only downside is the parking fee, which costs $37 per day. It is quite expensive, but still more affordable compared to parking options closer to downtown San Diego. Overall, it’s a good choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a practical location.

Hotel room was large and quiet. Room service for coffee was quick, staff was helpful, location was convenient. My two negatives were that the parking spaces are very very tight and small for medium to large size vehicles. The elevators were limited (only 2 out of 3 were working), slow and overcrowded during my visit, so I used the stairs to exit numerous times. The stairs don’t exit into the hotel though, only to the outside, which was odd. I would certainly stay again in hopes the elevator situation was worked out and would have a small car or no car at all.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times prior. On this occasion, two of the three elevators were not working and the waits for the one elevator were long. And since people were tired of waiting, they were unsafely cramming into the elevator.
