Clean, modern air conditionning in room, no noise from exterior or other rooms, helpful staff, decent parking. Only downside was no elevator and room was a little walk from main lobby. The included airport shuttle was great ! Would book again no problem.

We were pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do for families at the Doubletree. The pool is large and heated, the bayside bar has great drinks, and the cafe has good late-night dinners and breakfast options. The movie nights on Friday and the lawn games made eating outdoors a breeze and loved the waterfall outside of our patio. Not too loud and rowdy at night either:)

While everything else was okay. Sink in our room smelled like sewer. Location was great and had a good view of the marina from our room.

We needed a one night stay by the airport to fly out early in the morning. The front desk youn man was not friendly, business as usual, looked like he hadn't showered in days. He tried to give us a room in a building with a broken elevator. Not acceptable, as we had 2 suitcases and 2 carry one, we aren't that young any more. The room was fine, we had a good night's sleep and we're gone on the 4:30am shuttle. We'll find a better fit the next time we're in town.

If you are heading out fishing with the San Diego Sportfishing fleet, this location is perfect. You are right across the street from fisherman's Landing. The property is in great condition. Everything is in great shape. The staff here was super helpful during my one week stay. Can't thank them enough.
