We had a great stay. Minor thing to mention is the pool area has no sunbeds. If they would add some details (also decoration, there was just nothing that would attract one to relax there) it would be a huge improvement.

We stayed here Friday and Saturday night. The room was good. Parking was a nightmare. Spaces too small and limited spaces available. There are also only 2 elevators and we were having to wait a long time for them whenever we had to use them. Being on the 9th floor there was no way we could use the stairs.

Very good location for the price. The immediate area did not seem very good but when we walked about a block up to the Little Italy area, it changed dramatically. It is very accessible, right off the highway, however, this caused a gridlock during busy travel times. Very close to SeaWorld and the Zoo and many other attractions. We were able to walk to the coast (about 3/4 of a mile) and many places we ate, we walked to. I did not and will not ever like parking charges for guests staying at the hotel. It was $38 a night and the spots under the hotel were so small and was not able to accommodate anything larger than a large sedan. There are larger spots in the upper parking but limited. There were also maintenance issues. The elevator was out 2 out of the 5 nights that we stayed which made it miserable to leave or go anywhere. Stairs were not an option with 2 seniors and 2 small children traveling with us. The door was also broken at one point. In addition, we stayed 5 nights. They indicated that the rooms were fully serviced every 2 days. My son stained the sheets one morning and I asked the front desk to turn over the room and when we walked in, it looked like it was fully turned over, I noticed that the sheets were not replaced as requested because the stain was still there. He also wet the bed and we asked for another sheet switch and I am not sure if this was communicated correctly but when she came in, she didn't know why she was there which was a little frustrating.

Super accessible. The staff were very friendly and professional. No wait to check in , room was very clean. Pool area was small but an option. Also had a very nice gym set up. Lots of free weights and machine options.

Even though we did not go into the pool or the workout area. We did look at the facilities. The pool was crystal clear and very clean. the workout area as well. What a great deal for San Diego. Close to little Italy and a short walk to everything!

I had booked a 2 night stay and requested to not be by the elevator due to past experiences of loud people at late hours waiting for the elevator and keeping me awake. Upon arrival directly inside the entrance door it smelled like urine. After receiving my room key, I was put in a room directly across from the elevator. I called down to ask for a different room but they said they are completely booked and have no other rooms. I asked if I could cancel my room and they could only cancel one night without having to charge me for the entire booking. I then noticed the shower had broken tiles and layers of soap scum on the floor. I am assuming the tiles were broken from wear and tear due to it being an accessible shower; in which I did not need. They said they would have it cleaned as I was headed out but when I returned it was never cleaned, only a towel thrown over the broken tile and soap scum. That night there was not stop crowding outside the elevators from 11pm until 4:30am. I was so relieved to check out the next morning. This used to be the Four Points but now as the Dextero it has plummeted in all levels and do not recommend this establishment no matter how good the price may be. Spend a little extra and secure your comfort and peace knowing your stay is in a clean and hospitable establishment by choosing someone other than here.

It was a decent stay for the price but do not think you’re getting an insane steal,if it’s affordable you know why.Im low maintenance but I was uncomfortable.There was a layer of Dust on every piece of wood or furniture no exaggeration and Roaches in the chairs was not a pleasant thing to see.

Staff was excellent, bathroom floor was dirty, found eyelash extensions on the ground in the bathroom shower was dirty. “Clean” Towels had stains on them. Would maybe give it another try but not recommend it to a friend or family member.

The room was much smaller than expected and not as clean as I had hoped. The towels and sheets had visible stains, and there was dust buildup in the corners that triggered my allergies. We requested housekeeping during our stay, but only one bed was made and the bathroom was barely touched. Despite having four guests, only two bath towels were provided, and with the hotel phones down, I had to go all the way to the front desk just to request more. Our room key stopped working twice during our three-night stay, requiring multiple trips to the front desk to reactivate it. Parking was another major issue — although we paid for it, there were no available spots at the hotel. We had to park along a nearby sidewalk and walk back each time, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be staying at this hotel again.

We were there for a Military graduation, we were over charge for hotel room, plus they charge us extra for parking space the bed sheets and pillows were not clean the floor in the restroom was dusted and we got bugs bites. We didn’t have time to try any other type of service

The hotel offers onsite parking for a $35 fee, however they do not have sufficient parking for the number of guests they hold. The parking structure is only 1 1/2 levels of while there are 15 floors of rooms. Then the parking lot was full we had to park on the street half a block away from the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean however, a cockroach crawled out of the bathtub facet into the tub. Additionally, we were offered late check out for a fee of $45 through Best Western after we arrived and checked in, but when we went to verify the late check out and ask a question at the front desk they said they couldn’t offer late check out and they had never heard of that offer. They proceeded to offer us late check out at 12pm with no fee, but when I went down to the lobby around 7:30am the morning of, I was informed I was not able to be given late check out anymore but if I wanted to pay the extra fee then I would be able to do the $45 check out I originally booked when offered. The reason given was because of the booked weekend they could no longer offer us check out at 12pm

Overall our stay was good, the rooms are renovated and cleaned well. The area around the building has an overwhelming amount of homelessness. I also think $38 a day for parking is extreme and it’d be nice to have complementary breakfast. We did have a disturbance at 3am last night when people were shrieking and there was domestic violence.

Hotel was decent. I got the bay view but it was still covered by buildings. Could barely see the water Also, hotels should have parking included. This hotel does not considering how much I paid for a night. The pillows were uncomfortable and building seems to be old.

Pillows are not that comfortable, shower was leaking from one side, bathroom door doesn’t close all the way, needs better lighting placement in room, the a/c is loud, the lobby to check in was dirty and dusty by windows, i checked in 10min before my time and I still had to wait 10more min because my room wasn’t ready. They need to better explain to customers how to use elevators with their room key. Every time we went into the elevator people thought it didn’t work because they didn’t know they needed to scan their room key.

The bed was comfortable and the Harbor and Downtown view was nice.it is also an easy walk to the harbor and lots of restaurants. However there is an additional $35 parking fee for each 24 hours you are at the hotel. Maybe it is listed somewhere when booking and I missed it. However Expedia says their price includes all fees, I find this to be a bit disingenuous. Also, the hotel is right on Interstate 5, so it is rather noisy.

We were pleasantly surprised the hotel this is much nicer in person than what is shown online. It was modern, updated and very clean. After reading all of these reviews, I was worried about the parking situation, especially since I had a larger vehicle. But it wasn't so bad since I was able to park on the upper level....parking spaces are much larger and easier to maneuver. The rooms had a nice scent when you walk in, not stuffy at all. Our favorite part were the beds. They were so comfortable. Loved the spacious and clean rooms! I highly recommend and will definitely book again!

Parking plus technology tax, very small parking slots, no parking for large SUV. Front desk, Litzzy, her behavior was disrespectful and rude, and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. As someone working at the front desk and directly interacting with customers, her attitude was unprofessional and inappropriate. In my opinion, this type of conduct is not suitable for someone in a customer-facing role. I left the visit feeling disrespected and upset. I do not believe that customers should be spoken to or treated in such a manner, especially when we expect professionalism and courtesy from your staff. Spoke to the manager prior to leaving and the response was.. she said she was agitated the line was long. Antonio did not seem to care either. I won’t return

Excellent stay at Hotel Dextro! I had a great experience — from the friendly and attentive staff to the comfort of the rooms, everything was outstanding. The environment is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. Breakfast was also a good choice. Great location and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again without hesitation!

Hey i want to make a report, the lady at the reception. The day i checked in i didn't like how she communicated with, on Friday when i got to the reception there were people she was attending to so i waited for her to be done with them, after she was done she ignored me and took a little walk around then came back and said "whoever is next should come" i let that slide. Today on my check out greeted her and said I'm checking out. She didn't respond I stood there for a minute then a gentle guy came to check me out. I think she should work on her attitude and be professional. Thank you. Was a nice place and I enjoyed my stay.

Location was perfect! The staff was premier. With perfect location comes so pretty loud freeways nearby. Beware of the parking as it is pretty expensive, it adds up quick if you are staying more than 2 nights. If the front spots are full its a pain to park down innthe garage. The parking is also not part of the hotel so its a 3rd party company, this is not ideal.

Great place to stay. Check in was suppose to be 2pm we arrived a little earlier and the manager was kind enough to let us check in early. Although you have to pay for the breakfast in the morning was kind of a bummer. But overall stay and experience was great!

Close to Little Italy. Restaurant in hotel had Few options and food not great. Front desk very helpful Shower curtain terrible. Didn't keep water on tub. Water all over floor. Very dangerous getting out

I liked that it was clean. Plenty of towels and shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Good breakfast and good service. Didn't like that breakfast wasn't included and that you had to pay for it $20 a day per adult. Had a little parking garage but also wasn't included. $35 a night. That I didn't know maybe I missed that in the description. That ended up hurting me and I had to cut my vacay short. next time if there is a next time i will be sure i account for that. lots of homeless in the surrounding area. that made me and my daughter sad and feel unsafe.

Bartender!!! 10 outta 10 Housekeepers 11 outta 10 Late night front desk 12-10 Bed was amazing and pillows too! Parking prices are crazy! New cook , lacks attention to detail for the price. I would wait longer for a plate I can eat vs a quick dish I can’t eat due to quality or noneddible additions However this was by far the best stay I have had in this area over the last 2 years
