Everything was great. Solid location, nice suites, nice pool area and fitness facility. Very convenient to walk to tons of restaurants and stores, close to airport and trolley/train stop. My only 2 complaints would be $40/night parking is absurd and the TV remotes are awful.

Parking lot is very convenient , although it’s a charge it’s quite fair considering you are downtown. Checkin and front desk is manned 24-7 , they have little market that is extremely convenient. Breakfast has good options , pool was nice and heated. Gym and laundry room has lot of machines so no waiting. Had a 2 bedroom - it was quite spacious , very comfortable beds , kitchen has utensils and cooking pans and stuff. TVs made good size and has internet access for Netflix and you tube. Place was kept very clean , in the morning always see someone cleaning parking lot. Must say this is a true gem in the Little Italy / Harbor area

The room itself was very spacious and had a lot of amenities. However, the shower and restroom were dirty in comparison to the rest of the room. Also, parking was terrible even after paying $40 for the night, we had to wait 40 min to find a spot after going to dinner. It didnt seem worth the price when there was not convenient parking.

We stayed here to watch a Blue Jays vs Padres baseball game and cruise the following day. Great location! Short bus ride from the airport. Jack in the Box close by and the train station maybe 5 minutes walk. Sat morning there is a farmers market a short walk away. The cruise port is maybe a 10 minute walk. Its not a huge hotel so it did not feel over crowded. There is a nice smaller pool which was heated and seating areas with heaters. There is also a gym inside. The breakfast was good with hot food, waffle maker, toaster, fruit, coffee, juice... The staff were friendly and helpful giving directions. The room was comfortable. We had a full kitchen and one bedroom and pullout couch. There was a tv in each room. Overall a great stay.

Great location. Property is a bit dated and under renovations. Our room was loud at night from the street noise. Housekeeping also never cleaned our room the four nights that we were there.

Great Location. Friendly front desk staff. Excellent fresh Breakfast with wonderful breakfast staff! Nice Pool. Overall outstanding experience. This was our second time staying and we will be back. Great room layout w/kitchen and foldout bed.

The hotel was great but their parking system needs ti be changed. They charge $40/day to park there and you have to do it online. It is not a user friendly service and i ended up getting billed twice. It'd be nice if guests didnt have to pay for parking at all. At least give us the option to talk to a human when paying for it.

Overall our hotel stay was quite pleasant. It was roomy and had all that we needed so that we didn’t have to bring things from home. Most of the staff were pleasant. Not a lot of smiles but helpful staff. The manager I may have encountered gave us a warm welcome. Also the pool maintenance man maybe? He even gave us a warm welcome in comparison to the front desk, anytime I passed her by. Unfortunate but not a deal breaker. However I did notice some pubic hair on the bathroom floor as well as our second evening we found blood stains on the sheets. Cleaned sheets. But those should have been thrown out. The fitted sheets elastic was broken that should have been thrown out. These specific issues cause me to call to make sure that our sheets and floors are thoroughly cleaned.

Excellent location for me. I took the train to San Diego and was within walking distance to the Santa Fe Depot. Staff were friendly and accommodating and did their best to allow for an earlier check in that scheduled, stored our luggage, and called when the room was available. Most locations say no without even trying - they tried and even if they couldn't get us in a little earlier, I would have appreciated the effort in itself. Location is very convenient to the Port and Little Italy (walkable), the Santa Fe Depot was very close so had access to all of San Diego on public transit. Extremely clean and spacious. The staff were the highlight of the stay, from the time we were greeted to the time we checked out, superb customer service! The housekeeping staff was amazing! It felt like I was walking into a new room when I returned after it was serviced.

The property looks very different from the pictures online. The bathroom light was not working properly. Tiles had cracks in it. Also noticed one of the towels had blonde hair on it. we arrived to the property earlier then check out, we were told to come back at 3pm, we arrived around 3:30-3:45 and our room on the 4th floor was still not ready so they gave us a room on the 1st floor….

This is older hotel you can see it and feel it. When got in Friday evening the room is a good size. The bathroom smelled really bad, it’s was due to shower curtain smelling like mildew. Called that night to let them know about it. It didn’t get changed till Sunday after telling them 3 times. Hotel is definitely not family friendly, more due to the people that were staying there having a problem with just kids playing in the pool. It wasn’t really the hotel itself, but the crowd that was there it was majority of older people who wanted “quiet time” in the middle of a hot SD day when kids want to play in the pool. Most of the staff working, there was polite. Except the gentleman that we got the first evening we got it. He was frustrated because we were asking about the parking which is $40 a night and you have to register with the city of SD to pay.

This has been the worst hotel stay in 20 years of business travel. Bed smelled like marihuana, the bathroom floors were dirty, the toilet was stained. I did not get service in my room because as the clerk said it had to be pre-arranged. I’m am a Vice President at Hitachi and I will be asking to remove this brand from our hotel list

Property is little tired and could use an update. Wifi was pretty much non existent in our room. Also, kept having to reset our keys even though we kept them in empty pockets. That said, it's convenient to Little Italy and the Embercado. Service was good. Rooms are spacious. So decent place but will try another in the future.

We had a 3 night stay in San Diego. Our room was big and spacious we had a balcony overlooking the pool courtyard. Aside for the noise of the A/c unit turning on it was comfortable. The hotel itself was walkable to the USS Midway and little Italy.

I liked that it was close walking distance to Little Italy and other places. Parking was always available. Breakfast was ok. I didn’t like that the website didn’t mention that parking was $40 per day. They need to mention that parking was an extra fee. I also didn’t like that our room was next to the train tracks so we heard it passing at night. Thankfully the noise wasn’t too loud. The place could also use some renovations or modernization. There were no outlets for charging, just the regular plug.

The staff were pleasant and helpful for the most part. We had a sink backing up in one of the bathrooms and they sent someone up to fix it. In our 2 bedroom suite, there was a closet in the living room that was locked and seemed to house an air conditioning unit. It went on and off regularly and was so loud you could feel the noise not just hear it so it was difficult to sleep at night.

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights and liked it a lot. First of all, the location is of the hotel is amazing. It is about 30 min walking distance to the San Diego Convention Center, Seaport Village and Gaslamp Quarter area. Also it is again about 30 min walking distance to Balboa Park. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was excellent; clean, spacious and comfortable. Finally, the breakfast was also amazing with lots of options. We strongly recommend this hotel for families.

First off, the air conditioner didn't work, and we didn't realize till the morning when we discussed our restless night and figured out why, so that caused us to be tired the next day and we ended up canceling our planned sunset bike ride because we were ready for bed by 4pm. Next time I'll pay the extra $50 to stay at a hopefully more reliable hotel.

We had a great time! The front desk staff was so friendly and kind. Even with a sold out weekend due to Bayfest going on across the street, they worked hard to clean rooms fast and get everyone checked in.

I was impressed by the service of the front desk. However our room was cleaned only once. We were there from 8/30-9/5 and we had the no service magnet on the door for one night because we just got in and were tired. No one ever came back to refresh our towels and we did make a request to the front desk and the towels were never brought. I saw the person cleaning rooms and asked for some new towels and she gave them to me but she did not speak English so I only got one towel and 2 wash cloths. We made due. She showed me a clipboard that had NS after our room number. I assume that meant no service. Again we had that on the door for only one day because we were tired. Breakfast was excellent.

Ants in the bathroom the first night. In my opinion the room and bathroom needs updating. Late night check wasn't great. Desk clerk gave us no information about the hotel, breakfast hours ect. Charged for parking even though we had no car. Front desk did remove charge

property details on expedia claim coffee available at all times and that is not true..no coffee in lobby after breakfast hours..desk attendant told me that coffee machines in room can be used by guests to make their own! I chose this hotel for coffee availability but even coffee served at breakfast buffet is lousy so you do not drink alot..I found hotel to be penny foolish when I was paying 400 a night..location by busy road and across from waterfront (marina) park

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this hotel. Everything from staff hospitality to the comfortable room and the delicious breakfast made our stay most enjoyable, not to mention that this hotel is within minutes from promenade along the waterfront. Thank you, again!

Property was closed to water area, lots of walkable restaurants locations. All hotel properties need to improve in room coffee programs, bland coffee, never enough creamers, I was thankful that I could get more from front desk. Overall stay was good
