Overall, the location is great - easy to get to many attractions in San Diego as first time visitor. It was great to get warm messages from the hotel before and after the stay, and service is great as expected. the amenities are pretty generic. Outdoor pool is nice. However, the physical state of the hotel does not meet the Sheraton standards that I am used to. Overall outdated design and finishes, and furniture, which is unfortunate. The management should really consider updating the hotel interiors as well as culinary offerings to better serve consumer's expectations.

Nice clean hotel. Bed was comfortable. House keeping service every day. Room faced the freeway and was noisey from frwy traffic, but not too loud for me to fall asleep. Hotel restaurant had a good breakdfast buffet, about $25. Only Wendy's and Denny's within walking distance.

Jacuzzi was very nice. No microwave in the rooms only 1 downstairs. Starbucks Pike Place coffee downstairs. Nespresso coffee in the room. Right by all the nice shopping. Restaurants close by.

The hotel itself was more than fine, but after paying a fairly hefty fee for parking we were disappointed that hotel garage was full (cars from people at a conference) so we had to find a spot in the overflow parking. Not horrible, but not as convenient as we expected.

I arrived at 4:45pm to check in. Was told my room was not ready. I waited one hour to get in my room. The room was clean. However, the drapes had rips and tears. There are holes around the bathroom sink allowing flying bugs and I get in the room. The caulking in the shower needs attention. All 4 pillows and pillow cases had many tiny bugs in them. Could not use them. The box of tissues was low. We ran out of tissue. Finally, the TV cable connection was awful!! The connection dropped every 5 mins. There’s an empty space between the headboard and the wall. Had bugs and insects coming out of there. One microwave in the whole bldg. what’s that about? Cheap decision. Two things I liked were the hot water and checkout at 12pm. Sheraton hotel is definitely a lower class. The $28 parking is a rip off!!! Had to park on the street. I guess that’s what you call making your guests feel welcome. Think again!

The property is old. Our room had an old bathroom without a vent. It was smelly and dusty (top of the light switches were brown with dirty). The room smelled old and moldy every time we came back after being out the entire day. When I notified the front desk, nothing changed and I was in no mood to argue with them everyday.

The room we had the first night did not have a hvac heater, instead it was a small heater not strong enough to heat the entire room . We were unaware when we booked the hotel . I had a young child with me and it was a really cold night on the 8th floor . Victor was very accommodating to make up for the first nights stay and even changed our room the next day.

We arrived very late probably like past 1 am due to traveling from Monterrey, to my surprise their was a line of 8 people trying to check-in. Plus more people kept arriving. The poor lady was doing her best to check-in as fast as she could. That was just an inconvenience, the room was clean and spacious enough for 4 adults.We didn't use any other amenities because we just needed a place to sleep since we where traveling first thing in the morning to Baja. My suggesting would be to have more staff help out during the late shift specially during a holiday weekend and it seemed to me their was a fair event going on. Hense why everyone was probably arriving so late to check-in. Other than that room was fine. Ps could use a little updating.

We stayed at Sheraton La Jolla a couple of times already, so we kind of knew what to expect. Staff were great. From front desk to housekeeping staff, everyone was corteous and helpful. The lobby is very spacious. If i had time to rest i would have sat down in the lobby. Sheraton Mission Bay is very close to Mission Beach and Sea World . Its the reason why we picked it. What we also loved is there is a Target accros it with a lot of restaurants, an AMC. My only nit pick was i wish they had complimentary coffee in the lobby where you just pour or dispense. I really dont like messing with the coffee makers in the room. They had coffee in the lobby but you had to pay for it. Sometimes after a long drive i just want a warm beverage. But thats my only nit pick. Staff was great, friendly. I am bookmarking this hotel as we would be frequenting San Diego more with our son. We might even come back soon for 4th of July.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend to visit our daughter who lives in Hillcrest. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, cost was a little pricey but worth it. If you are one of their gold members it’s free, but we are not so we paid 25 a person. All good. Will stay again in future.

Brian and Karina were excellent and very helpful at the front desk. We only wish we would've known that the construction was going on so that we could've possibly rescheduled our visit. The bar and restaurant were both closed and the pool was difficult to get to due to the construction. The room was nice, clean and cool however! Our coffee machine did not work, but they replaced it with one that did and we appreciate that as well! Due to the construction, they comped our parking pass which of course was greatly appreciated! Overall a good experience and visit!
