Very limited parking.

The bed was comfortable which is my #1 concern. The room was clean and room service stopped by every day to see if we needed anything. The bathroom had just a shower which is great to us because we have a hard time getting in the tub showers. There were restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The only negative was parking. There wasn’t enough spots for the number of rooms.

Just a room to sleep in. Room was clean, wall a/c, behind a strip mall/ The old mattresses in the courtyard were a bit concerning. No pool

The place was quiet and the parking was ok. The room mid, the thing I did not like about the room was the bathroom door would not close, therefore it would not lock. They had some sort of containers where where the parking spot was and it made parking by our room very awkward.

Close to shopping center and not far to Little Italy and Gaslamp. Free parking. Basic lodging and was one of the most affordable motels in the area.

We tried to check in and no one was in the office. The floor of our room had debris on it and air fresheners that were very visible. Tried turning on TV and it said no signal so went to office and tried to get in office which was locked. Front desk agent poked his head out the service window and asked what I needed. Asked about Tv and he gave me some ideas on how to fix it. We wanted to wish some clothes and the laundry hours posted said 9 to 9. The door was dead bolted and I asked why it was locked. He didn’t have an answer. Ac unit in room only has high speed for fan and toilet tank lid is way to big for the tank. We. Stayed in another ground floor unit a week before and the room had a very musty smell. Maybe that’s why the sir freshets in this room. No breakfast because of COVID! In my opinion a cop out as to save money. Will I stay here again? The answer is a BIG NO!

They weren't very friendly at all. My room was missing the coffee maker. I asked for one to be brought to the room. I had to go to the desk and get one myself. I got mean mugged for using the ice machine

Convenient location for our trip. Lots of places near by to shop. Room was nice and spacious, TV remote only worked up close to the TV, doors were newly painted so it made it hard to close shut had to push hard making a hard slam noise. You could hear the other rooms because of it , they had to slam the door to close. Bed was nice we had the king bed. Parking was nice although walls emmited all or most of the noise from outside when people closed their car door, trucks and when they talked loudly. Could just imagine how noisy it might be around area since there is a delivery area nearby for the mall . Other than that had a great stay

For the money we payed this place was great! It’s right in the middle of everything with plenty of food establishments a short walk away. Every attraction we wanted to visit was less than 20 minutes away. We got fresh towels every day and the parking is free! I would definitely recommend this place. Just remember it’s a simple place to stay with great value!

Good location with easy access to freeways, Seaworld and Old Town. Comfortable bed, plenty of parking.

This place is gross. My wife took a shower when we arrived and after walking around barefoot for a few minutes she laid on the bed. I was blown away how black her feet were just from walking on the floor. The shower probably has never been cleaned because you can seee the pencil marks and grout residue from the installation. The house cleaners did not have mops. The manager did not care one bit, told me I can go somewhere else. I will be reporting them to the health department when I get back home.

The bathroom was disgusting. Rotten stained toilet seat. Just grimy gross and the entire toilet was loose.

The first thing I noticed was the blankets. The blankets were dirty, had stains, and crumbs. Each layer I pulled back was worse. No bed bugs, thank God! But I did had to request for another sheet because what I walked into was gross. The floor was dirty with crumbs pushed in the corner or the room. The walls were dirty. Especially the wall next to the toilet. You can see all the crud in the paints. The toilet was leaking, my partner brought in his tools fix it and it stopped leaking. I try calling the front office when I was requesting for a new sheet and the phone didn't even work. Finally after messing with the cord I was able to hurry and say something before it went out again. Gave up and just went to the office. The front desk receptionist was very nice and friendly. Thank you because if she wasn't at least nice and friendly it would of made the stay 10x worse.

The room was filthy, warn down, hair, mold, outdated and very bad odor. My daughters room found a spy camera. Stay at your own risk.

Typical Travelodge - The room is not too clean except the beds are clean and comfortable. The door has gaps, and the neighbors and parking lot can be loud. There's a fan in the room that hides a lot of noise. It's good for the price.

If I hadnt been charged for this room I would have went somewhere else. This room was not clean. The bed shams were disgusting. There was dirt on the bottom of these. Like they were left in that condition for day maybe even weeks. The plug in fixtures were broken. The lock on my door was broken so I couldnt lock it of I tried. The calkong on the sink definitely had mold in it at some point. Let's get started on the bathroom. Dirty hand prints on the walls and by where the toiltpaper roll is on the wall. Looks like there were dirty finger trying to get some and they left those marks on the wall. I got this room because it said it was 10 minutes away from the Marine base. The advertisement is definitely false. These are not clean rooms or even look remotely close to any of those pictures I saw. Expedia do better for your customers and do not offer this hotel. I checked out a day early because I couldnt stay in a dirty room any longer. Not to mention they sent me a receipt this morning saying it was printed on the 12th around 1:30 pm.

Overall it was good. The room was very spacious. However, there were things that weren't so great. For one thing, the mattress were very firm. At times it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Also, the bathroom was extremely small. Space for barely one person. Forget about taking a bubble bath. Tub was so small even for a 10 year old. One major safety concern for me was that it didn't have any protection from slipping in the tub while showering.

You get what you pay for. It’s super cheap for a reason. Good place to sleep. It was clean, but there was very little furniture, and nothing but a chair to sit on. One plug for three appliances. Tons of places to eat and shop surrounding the place. It’s in a great location. I would have liked a table or something. At least to eat at.

It was extremely close to shopping and dining; like less than one minute. The room did have two beds in separate rooms and the kitchenette was adequate. The downsides: only one room key worked, the phone didn’t work (no dial tone), the neighbors were noisy, the wi-fi worked for about ten minutes or so then didn’t work again and it wasn’t close to decent transportation. We were only there for two nights so we didn’t say anything. If rooms closer to the comic con were more available at a better price, I would definitely choose those; otherwise I would take this one into consideration if necessary. Just because of the location to shopping.

In desperate need of repairs and revamps, tbis property is one of the few budget destinations in SD. The location is great since it is within walking distance to the Old Town transit centre which serves as a major hub for all SD destinations. Besides the location, not many positives for this place. The neighborhood feels unsafe with vagrants and transients all around (typical in other parts of SD too). The rooms have a distinct odor. WiFi is very spotty and highly unreliable. TV in my room didnt work and was never fixed although i complained about it right after check-in.

I really liked the separate bedroom I was expecting two beds side by side but then there was a separate room which was awesome!

I only did 4 stars because the cable service was not workimg on the TV. Other then that it was very comfortable there. Lots of good places to eat in the shopping center right next door. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.....i think pillow quality is very important. Good amenities in the room. Refrigeratior, microwave, toiletries, and ironing board. I will probably stay there again in the future.

It was a cheap place to crash after a cancelled flight. They thoughtfully put us in a ground floor room seeing as we had 50lb bags and the air conditioners kept it cool through the night. The room we were in was in desperate need of repair and upgrade. But it was clean and got the job done of needing a night to sleep before travel again the next day. It was also next to an Einstein's Bagel place for breakfast.

The only loudness we experienced was the planes taking off every 1/2 hour from the airport. other than that, it was a great, comfortable experience.

The clerk at sleeping in shifts so th was unfriendly, unhelpful and had zero customer service skills. After we checked into our room, we noticed that the large front window did not lock. Clearly a known issue as the mechanism was broken off and an attempt to secure the window was made by placing wooden dowels into the sliding part of the frame to block the window from opening. However, the dowels were now broken allowing the window to slide open enough for someone to fit in. Feeling unsafe and not having a proper way to secure our belongings, we went back to the front desk to ask to either switch rooms or have the window repaired, both to which the clerk said were not possible. His solution was for us to check out and find another hotel. At 9pm we were tired from a long day of traveling and now finally in our room we were told the only thing he could do was let us leave!. We spent the night sleeping in shifts so we could make sure no one entered our room through the window. There are many homeless and transients in the area. We kept the iron by the bed to use as a weapon if needed. The next morning we went back to the front desk to find a much more helpful man who had the window fixed within the hour.

The room was amazing! The staff was excellent! It was close to the train by bus or walking, major stores for shopping including food! I recommend them to all my coworkers!

I did not liked anything about this property. I am very disappointed that I stayed at this hotel. The pictures on the website do not coincide with reality. The lobby was dirty and smelled; The person behind the counter when I checked in looked like he did not wanted to be there, and when I checked out it was a different person, he didn't bother to get out of the chair, both of them looked dirty, not uniform just regular T shirts . We were not able to sleep because of all the noise, the windows are not sealed, and the lights outside were very bright, the curtains were not covering the entire window. The furniture is very old and dirty.

The reservation doesn't disclosed the fact that this particular operator holds 100 dollars for a period of seven to ten days. They also do not tell you until after you check out.

Staff was not helpful, my son had an accident and we requested for new bedding and the staff yell at us saying they only change the bedding once a week. Even though we told them there was an accident they still were disrespectful

Never stayed at the property, customer service is terrible . I canceled my reservation due to high deposit at the front desk (more than my night rate ) . I had to drive to a different hotel , expecting a refund from travelodge but was just notified via email they are against refunds and cancellations . I would not recommend

Overall the area where the hotel is located is sketchy. The rooms are OK, but it feels like it is just another warehouse, in an industrial site. Be careful with Travelodge. They charge the deposit and you won't get it back until 10 business days later! It is not a temporary transaction like the general rule in other hotels.

I've stayed here before and it was always pleasant, however my recent stay was very noisy( children yelling early in the morning, but it is directly behind a school) and I left the room clean with everything turned off and they kept my deposit. I don't appreciate that. It was one of my hidden gems in San Diego but not anymore

Great stay convenient to most of southern Central San Diego.

Property was close to Sea World and Belmont Park.

Room are old, sheets were stained and the restroom smells weird (not pluming smell tho). The hotel it’s on a great area, accessible from anywhere and near to stores and sea world.

I was pleasantly surprised. I needed a room close to the airport, and with a citywide convention in town, most hotels were outrageously expensive. Staff was great, my room was huge, and the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. It was very basic as far as furniture and amenities, but priced as such as well. I would stay again.

There is a shopping center next door with a TJ MAXX, Home Goods, and Sprouts grocery store, along with various services and restaurants. Staff is very friendly. You can tell they are giving it a little face lift. The bed was super comfy. No sign of pests. The hairdryer was broken and the toilet takes forever to flush so minor maintenance issues, there weren’t tons of transient people in or around the property like you see at other comparably priced motels and that was a concern. I would book again.

Does not offer breakfast, does not offer early check in or late check out. Does not offer shuttle service. What you do get is an attitude from the younger and older men. Forced to pay a deposit even if you have a card on file and fully paid. A dirty room! The bed was comfy, spacious but dirty!! The neighborhood is ok but there is a ton of noise around the hotel and the walls do nothing to buffer it.

Made reservation through Expedia. They said there was a free breakfast - and there wasn’t. Also, the photos looked more inviting than the actual place and room service only comes every other day though the front desk gave us more coffee for the room and a new lotion dispenser as the one in the room ran out.

Decent shopping and dining options nearby. Convenient for bus, trolley and Amtrak.

Stayed there last year as well - not much had changed. Excellent wi-fi & TV. Convenient to everything I wanted to do. No continental breakfasr howver, even thos the office apparently once had it. Quiet when the jets weren't flying (roughly 1030 PM - 7 AM). No rowdy guests.
