We had a great stay at the Surfer Beach Hotel. This is a fabulous location that is truly steps from the beach. We enjoyed the great views you have from the 3rd or 4th floor. We had a balcony that we could enjoy. And the beds are very comfy. Love that there is a deep tub in the bathroom. What a great treat these days. A few things that you should know before you go. Please do not read these as criticisms, they are not. But they are things I would want to know before going. First, there are no indoor gathering spaces. We are a family that likes to play games and cards, etc. I didn't check ahead of time, so that's on me. There are places to sit outside by the pool. There is also not a full compliment of cable channels on the TV. Most did not work for us. And there is no way to connect a device to the TV to stream. Again, not a criticism, it is not something that I checked for or was promised. Just something I wish I had, as we like to watch movies at night. There are several great places to get food. One is the World Famous restaurant. This is a standard sit down restaurant. Good prices. They have a great bar menu and small plates, so there is something for every budget. There is also Woody's, which has burgers, fries and a great fish & chips. They also have coffee drinks and breakfast. There is a small mexican place across the parking lot that has great food at affordable prices. And a small liquor store with a variety of drinks and snacks. All told we had a great time!

The location is incredible, BUT… prepare for no sleep. The rooms are NOT soundproof (we could literally hear every step and item dropped in the room above us.) The a/c ventilation struggled so everything was very humid. And as for the king and pull out sofa - don’t count on using the sofa bed. When it’s pulled out, it touches nearly the opposite wall. So just to get into the bathroom, you have to do a fancy sidestep shimmy (which sucks if you use the washroom multiple times a night). Amazing location though. Great for one or two people that can sleep through anything. Tough for families to fit though. Sooo close to the beach, you can feel the salt and sand as soon as you step out of your door. But beware! The parking at the hotel DOES NOT come with the room - you must pay!

The staff at Surfer Beach Hotel are always friendly and helpful. The views are awesome, especially if you are stay on floor 4. Can’t beat the sunset views from the balcony. Great stay for a reasonable price.

Great location. Very dated hotel. TV in the room had maybe 12 channels and barely worked. The A/C was terrible. Room was some what clean. No room service for a 5 night stay. You had to call for towels, TP etc. Expensive for what it is but they have a good location so it is what it is. Parking cost 180.00 for my stay.
