After a day of hiking Muir Woods, it was great to return to such a comfortable room. The room was clean and staff were great. Breakfast was phenomenal. And if you’re in the area for the French Market held at the Civic Center, you couldn’t pick a better location to stay. Just walk out the back door and you’re there.

I’ve stayed here before and it’s been wonderful. This time, I asked for an ADA accessible room as I’m recovering from breast cancer surgery, and received a room that was not only not ADA, but the tub was peeling, the furniture was dirty, there were holes in the walls and the floor was filthy. We could also clearly hear the front desk chatter all night. I’m convinced we were given a break room not an actual usable room. We were really disappointed.

I always love staying here and will continue to. I downgraded to a 4 of 5 stars due to the new charge for parking. There is a huge lot and this is a suburban area. There shouldn’t be any need for this property to charge a surprise $15 per night to park a vehicle in a massive lot.

Breakfast and happy hour were great. Room was nice. Staff wasn’t on top of keeping the vestibules and hallways clean. Trash was very smelly by the elevator for most of the day. People’s room service trays and garbage in the hall was out for several hours. For a Huge hotel seems like they need more elevators plus they had 1/4 shut down part of the time. Otherwise it was as expected for an Embassy Suites.
